Cascada sighed as she slumped away from the lands she once called home. The foal was due any day now so she decided to make her escape as soon as she could otherwise Blink would keep the foal. She walked over the borders of the lands, not daring to look back and she walked away and down the mountain before reaching the plains below.
She happily headed for her new home, a wranglers camp and they foal would be hers. She trudged away and a sly smile was printed on her face "sorry, Blink...your foal is never going to know its father" she smiled and walked away from the land she once called home, then she was banished and then called her home again. Now she was walking away from it and going into the tame life where she could be happy and away from the stallion who was the father of this foal inside her.

(The foals already born...and you never told me if I could play it...I don't think you can just take it. And we need names.)

Cascada stopped and after two terrible hours a foal was by her side. "Illusional Dagger" she said softly and licked the colt's pelt. He was a dark black but she knew that colour would fade to grey as his parents were light colours expect for his fathers grey splotches. She stood up and then the foal showed his scar on the left side of his face. "my oh my, you look very evil" she laughed and then nudged the foal up.
As he suckled she started to eat the grass before walking up toward the land again to show Blink his son. Illusional Dagger's coat was still quite fluffy and Cascada laughed as he stumbled again. "Come on honey, you don't want to be like that when your father sees you" she said as she walked into the lands and lied down by the lake. Illusion sat beside her and a whinny escaped his kissers. Cascada laughed at the high pitched squeel so she opened her own lips and let out a shrill neigh to call Blink to his son.
"mummy, where is daddy" the foal said and Cascada smiled "he is coming" she said and thought this was the perfect time to tell him of what happened when she ruled this land. "to be honest, I have a little story to tell of me and your father as it is quite a interesting tale" she said and then began her story "I once owned this land and dubbed it Freedom Valley. My mate was the wonderful Snow Storm and together we had a foal, Isabelle, but then he went away and Isabelle and me stayed together alone. Then your daddy came along and went to fight for this land, he caused damage to me and my daughter, your sister. I did fight him though, unfortuently I did loose and now this land is his but your sister has come back to fight for the lands as I took her to another herd when she was young". She sighed and then took a drink of water "I came back though, and your father accepted me back but this land may be mine again as I am only 4 years old and this land can be ruled again".

Blink cantered around his land pridefully and his nostrils filled with the scent of a newcomer. He smelled Cascada somewhere and his ears pricked. It was probably his newborn foal. He galloped quickly towards the scent and whinnied when he saw his son.
Dagger drank greedily from his mom and whinnied loudly as she said she had a story. "Tell me, mommy!" He listened intently and pranced around eagerly. He eyed his mother curiously and tilted his head as he spoke, "Why do you want to take the land from my daddy?" His little ears twitched as he waited for her reply.
Dagger's finely shaped head jerked around when he heard a whinny from someone. He jumped up and down excitedly as he saw a stallion coming towards them. "Is that my daddy?!?" The little colt ran towards the gray and black stallion that approached them.
Blink smiled slightly when he saw his newborn son. A sharp intake of breath let on that he saw the scar that mawed the young one's face. He shook his head and stood tall before his offspring. "Hello, my son. I am Don't Blink...your father." He nuzzled the colt awkwardly and looked towards Cascada. "I see that Isabelle is challenging me for this land, Cascada. If that is the case then you are not welcome here. The colt is welcome in my herd, for he is my Prince. What is his name?" Blink snorted at her, angered that she even had the nerve to show up here.
Dagger looked in awe at his father. He ran back to his mother's side and nudged her leg. "He's amazing, mommy!"

Cascada sighed "I don't honey, I just want a home now and don't care" she said and nuzzled him before seeing Blink walk up. She snorted and stamped her hoof "you can't just turn me out now, its not MY fault she came here" Cascada shouted at him and then looked down at the foal "anyway, he couldn't live without me as he needs me at this age Blink" a tear ran down her face as she didn't want to loose her son.
"If I go, Illusional Dagger goes with me" she said and nuzzled the colt's fluffy pelt. She looked at Blink again and sighed as she knew full well the colt couldn't leave his mother until he was 6 months old and the colt was to young. "you seem to forget that I have to provide his food and without me he will die" she stamped her hoof again and waited for Blink to answer her.

Dagger nuzzled his mother's side lovingly and questioned her again, "Why don't you tell my sister to not fight daddy? I think its mean to take his land away..." He looked at her, confused that his sister would do such a thing. The little colt trotted on wobbly legs to his father's side. "Daddy, are you gonna fight my sister?"
Blink nuzzled his son and answered cooly, "I'll fight as long as she does...I could care less whether she dies or not." He grinned wickedly to Cascada and nudged Dagger's rump playfully.
Blink pinned his ears angrily. "I do recall Isabelle saying that you told her to get Insanity Falls back...so it is your fault. Just so you know...I will kill her. I don't care if Dagger is your son, too...she will die if I get my chance." He bared his teeth at the mare and flicked his banner rapidly.
Dagger hopped around happily and landed next to his mother. Blink spat at the ground furiously and spoke coldly, "You stay until Dagger is old enough to be on his own. After that, you are gone." His eyes glazed over angrily as he stared her down. She didn't deserve to be in his herd. He hated her from the beginning. The only good thing that came out of their relationship was Dagger. "And don't forget that Illusional Dagger is my son, too."

Cascada narrowed her eyes and she nuzzled the colt as she looked up at Blink. She didn't want to be turned away from this place as it was her home and she loved it so much. I sigh escaped her kissers and she stepped forward and toward Blink before nuzzling him on the neck "don't do this to me Blink, I can help so much more in this herd".
Isabelle had been wandering along the land when she saw her mother touching the filthly beast she was about to fight. The mare galloped up to her mother "mum, what do you think your doing?" she said but couldn't help smiling as she saw her mother. Her eyes set on the colt, her brother, "hello little guy, I am Isabelle and am your sister" she said and smiled before looking at Blink. "I hear your trying to turn my mother out again Blink, if I withdraw this challenge can you let us stay" she wanted to live here to as she just wanted to be with her mum right now, more than anything else.
Cascada was shocked to see Isabelle and a tear ran down her face "Isabelle, darling Isabelle" she said and nuzzled her long lost daughter. She laughed as Isabelle talked to her brother "his name is Illusional Dagger honey" she said and looked at Blink as her daughter talked to him. "you want to live here?" she said and Isabelle nodded in a reply "anything to be with my mum" she replied and nuzzled her mother back before looking a Blink and waiting for him to decide as it was his land and his herd.

Blink flinched away from her nuzzle and shook his head. "I'm not doing anything to you, Cascada. You're asking for it. The only way you can help me in this herd is by keeping my son alive." He pawed the ground cooly and laughed as Isabelle approached. "Don't worry, I wouldn't do anything with your mom."
Dagger cocked his head as he studied his half sister, Isabelle. "Hi, Isabelle. I'm Dagger." He smiled hugely and nuzzled her shoulder gently.
Blink considered he words for a minute before nodding. "Yes...I suppose you could stay if you withdraw the challenge. But that doesn't mean either of you are going to be lead..." His ears swiveled as he spoke. He didn't really mind if they both stayed, as long as they didn't get in his way and try to take over his power. He could easily take them down, especially when he had Dagger by his side.
"Fine...whatever. You can both stay." He looked at Cascada, "Keep my boy alive and you can stay as long as you like." With that said, he nuzzled Dagger and walked away slowly.
