Aleena

[SceneFairy]

A dapple mare cantered gracefully into the land looking about for any danger. When she saw she was alone, she relaxed abit but still alert. She than slowed to a stop in front of stream to drink the icy liquid to sooth her aching throat. She than looked at her surroundings silently. She wondered if anyone would come soon. She hoped she would be able to join a herd soon. Aleena was abit of a loner but she still was a sweet mare that knew how to take care of herself. Hopefully someone would some thought the beautiful Light mare. She was growing tired of being a rogue and wanted to be apart of a herd or live with a stallion. She than trotted over to a patch of tasty grass and munched on it to fill her completly empty stomach. Afterwards she went under a tree to get some much needed rest.

Batty lifted his elegant chestnut head when he herd the sound of hooves moving briskly across the earth. He pricked up his ears and then saw the mare cantering around "wow" he said tossing his own mane and walking out of the trees and toward her "hello young femme he said to her and went into a short gallop to catch up with her before cantering next to her.

He flicked his tail happily "my name is Batty my dear, may I ask what is yours? he said and stared into her eyes before glancing a glaze on the dappled body. He watched her hooves hardly touching the ground as she cantered and was happy to be in the company of such a fine mare. He thought of what he would do if she became in his herd, maybe the duchess for now as he didn't want a lead mare for now.

Aleena turned her head to see the source of the voice to see a handsome stallion. She looked into his eyes and replied "I'm Aleena. Pleasure to meet you." she said. She saw when he gave her a look over and if horses could blush than she would be red as a tomato. She slowed to walk than went over to the stream. She walked till she was knee-deep in the water and took a long swig of the sweet chilly water. Then she looked back at the stallion that she had been talking to afew moments ago and awaited to see what he would do next. She wondered what he would say and what would happen. She wondered if he was interested in her enough to let her join his herd or was he just passing by. She anxiously waited to see what would happen, would her thoughts come true she wondered.

[Spitz]

Batty smiled and stopped at the waters edge before lifting up his head "well Aleena, I have come on a search for a mare to be with me in my lands, of course, I am mostly looking for a lead mare" he smiled at her and stepped a little bit into the water.

He jumped a little as the icy water hit his leg but soon got used to it and waded in after her "of course, I need to know a little more about you first" he said and took a drink. His mane fell into the water as he drunk and the water dripped from it when he raised up his chestnut head. He strode out of the water and in a few powerful strides he was out and shaking himself off. Hey, my legs are clean again" he laughed and looked back at the mare.

She laughed at the stallion, amused. She asked "What would you like to know?" curiose (mispelled) at what he would want to ask her but didn't blame him for asking. She than followed his example by walking out of the water and shaking off. She shivered from the slight breeze. She trotted around him to get more warm. Then she walk up a little hill that was afeet away to look at the beautiful land she was surrounded by. This was one of the reasons she loved being free, you got to see such beauty and not being bossed by humans. She never would understand domesite(mispelled) horses and their owners she spat sliently. Humans took away her mother and she would never ever forgive them for that, her eyes ablaze but than calmed down. You should be thinking of that with others around she scolded herself turning back to the stallion.

Batty thought for a second well my dear, your past prehaps he said and stretched his neck. He swatted the flies on the backs of his legs and he looked at her again. I will tell you my past and of my lands after he smiled and flicked his tail again. Two mares...wanting this position for lead mare, what am I going to do and with Raptor trying to get my land he thought and sighed well, one of them must take the position of Duchess.

He looked at the mare with worried eyes but drew away his glance and looked at the ground mum would know what to do, mum... he whispered and a small tear ran down his face as he hadn't seen his mother in years and was missing her lots. He looked up and shook his head before letting out a soft whinny to the air.

When Aleena saw the stallion shed a tear she softened. She walked over to him and nuzzled him hoping to comfort him. " Well I have had many hardships but have learned many things from it that helped me later on in life. When I was a yearling my mother was taken away by humans."She spat"and my father was killed by a dark stallion. I have been on my own for years. I've had to learn how to take care of myself alone and learn to fight for myself. I have scars phsically and mentally from having to fight to live. I have been a rougue since my mother was taken. So here I am."She said bitterly."I have told you everything about me ."

[Spitz]

Batty's eyes widened wow, such a intreging past he said and smiled uh oh, my turn he laughed and coughed to clear his throat. I was born in a stable, by my lovly Chestnut mother and at the age of 6 months I ran away. I found a light herd and they taught me of everything wild but when I was two the herd got captured and one of the tame horses was my mother....

Then I fled and a year on I found Mountain Springs he smiled and then looked at her again So, how would you like to go there and see this land? he asked and tossed his chestnut mane happily careful though, watch out for the apples, you might just slip under the heavy burden of snow he joked.

She laughed softly and said "I'd love to come to your land. You have an intersting past as well. You don't have to worry about me. I love the snow it is pure." She trots some more to get warm and feeling back in her legs. She streched her long neck and tossed her white mane. She looked back at the stallion and smiled softly. She thought he was lucky for he at least knew she was alive unlike her she only saw her mother taken away and hasn't heard anything about what has happened to her. She wondered about this stallion and if her life is turned out good for once but she feared that that goodness would end but she pushed that thought away. She trotted back to Batty waiting for him to lead the way to his land.

Batty walked silently toward his land, he knew this path all to well and he had found some shortcuts so he jumped over logs and stepped through winding paths, he saw some of the path blocked off so he stepped back and then galloped toward it before jumping over the obstacle. He trotted on and then saw it, the fields he knew all to wel but they were not at his home just yet.

He saw the cave and happily walked toward it and into its dark entrance. Come on he whispered and stepped through the passage until he reached the exit. He stepped into the light and looked at the lake, the apple trees and of course the mountains that bordered his land. Welcome to my home he said as the land also welcomed them with the suns weak rays beating down on the land and a soft breeze rippling the grass under their feet.

Aleena followed Batty over the logs and shortcuts gracefully. When they got to the land she looked around and whispered "wow this place is amazing." She thought this place was beautiful.She really loved the lake; it was so wonderful. She looked at the magnifcent mountains that bordered the land. Aleena turned back to Batty and said "You are very lucky to have such a beautiful land. I bet many mares are fighting for your attention."She teased. She walked up next to him and waited for him to do something next.
