After being locked up in the house for days while the moving process was in place, of course Elda --or shall we say 'Chii' --Hibiya was more than thrilled to be able to get out of the house and into town. This place was far too different from back home... But, she didn't mind the change at all. Really, she was excited to get a view of the town and see what it had to offer. She had been the first one to hop out of bed and wake everyone up. Sadly, it had only been 5:30AM and that time, so she has to sit up alone, unable to fall back asleep, until her sister and mother were ready to head out.[/center]
She decided to dress simple for the occasion, in nothing more than a brown, knee-lengthed sailor-collared sort of dress--anything else of her's would have gather too much attention, but her looks alone would be more than enough to attract glances. Chii was a sort of short girl with a gorgeous but childish face, bright amber eyes, and ivory blond hair that was long enough to just about touch the ground. Holding the hair bordering the sides of her face were pink and white spools, and her bangs were cut just about her eyes. She was an out of the ordinary but naturally beautiful girl... with a childish edge...
...and an extreme sense of curiosity.
As soon as the trio walked into the mall, something unusually shiny on a woman's purse caught her attention. And so, the sixteen year old willing stalked the girl for at lease five mineuts, and that was something only she could do. Of course, these strange little things about her weren't all her fault--it was due to an accident she had been through about a year ago. Her memory had been wiped clean, so now she had started over. And really, she was still learning. Unfortunatly, her curiousity wasn't something her mother and sister could teach her to ignore.
Chii's intrest in the purse faded and she paused, her amber eyes looking around curiously--her family was no where in sight. Being the calm and naiive type, it wasn't in her nature to panic. Itstead she shrugged it off and try too look thorugh the crowd. As expected--and of course, she didn't notice this--people were always glancing over at her, either laughing or smiling... and every here and there people would give jelous glares, and the reasons behind those varied, but Chii was oblivious... and she had no idea what she was doing.
Really, there weren't exactly malls around where she came from. This, like everything else, was new to her... And not knowing what to do, she let her instincs guide her. She simply wandered to a bench just outsife of a gothic store decorated in black. 'Screamo' music could be clearly heard from where she was sitting, and honestly it almost frightened her, but she paid no mind to it. She figured that if she stayed in the same place, maybe her family would find her. She put her hands in her lap, keeping her legs close together, her head down with some of her ivory hair falling over her shoulders, the rest falling over the seat of the bench and touching the floor. With the way it was spread around her, it almost looked like wings.
As quiet as a mouse, she simply swayed her feet back and fourth, paying no mind to the people who glanced at her and the people filing out of the store who all looked at her like she was insane. She really was obivious... but innocent. She hoped that maybe if Chitose and Freya didn't find her that maybe someone else would... She did have hopes of making a friend. She really didn't have any outside of her small family. Perhaps that was one of the points of moving here... But Freya and even her own mother feared that someone like Chii, someone who was so out of the ordinary--due to no fault of her own, even--just wouldn't be accepted by too many... Or could she be?
