Personality:
Shawnee is a high strung mare. She's always raring to go and she's challenging to control. She's a racehorse at heart and on the track. With her muscular and well exercised body, she's a real threat. To keep her in top shape for races, she is exercised a lot. Shawnee never seems to run out of stamina. She truely loves running, nomatter the distance. She's fast and furious. She's a sweet horse too, but she's always eager, anxious, and alert. She tends to be a bully to some horses and she rears often. She's also loud. She's difficult to train and work with because of her hyperness and short attention span, but she does try to please her trainer and owner. She's young though, which means that she isn't as experienced as other race horses, but she has a long career ahead of her. Skye worries sometimes that she's prone to get in an accident and injure herself, but Shawnee is strong, sharp witted, and smooth on her feet.
History:
All of her life so far she has been living at a racing stables. She's in great shape and she's well trained, but she's got a long ways to go. As the foal of two great racers, this filly has spunk and spirit. She seems to have the best and worst qualities of both the sire and dam. Skye had been recently volenteering at the stables and she grew attatched to Shawnee. Working with her and helping with her training, she was heartbroken when the filly was put up for sale to help bring more money to the stables. She finally worked enough to end up earning part of the horse and paying for the rest of her price. Now Shawnee belongs to Skye, and Skye has plans of boarding her somewhere else. |
