Axel smiled at her and then rolled his eyes as she flirted but he flirted back a little and then trotted toward Royal Rock "come on, I want you to meet Dysnomia" he smiled and stopped at the rocky pathway which was getting smoother as hooves were sanding it down. He nickered and then stepped up a little and up the pathway which wound and then curved to reach the top where it was flat and it was here where you could watch over the lands.
He stood at the edge and looked at the land below before smiling and turning toward the cave "Dysnomia, come and meet Maia" he smiled and then looked back at Maia "give her a minute as the foal is due to be born soon and she has been lumbering round a bit" he laughed a little and then waited for his mare to come out of the shadows.

Maia rolled her eyes and shook her head. I have no interest in meeting your lead mare, when I haven't even decided whether to join this herd or not. She turned around, two-beating about 100 yards away from the royal rock, her audits and orbs focused on what was in front of her, and never so much a sneaking a glance at this mare or Axel. She had no intentions of meeting this mare, and right now joining this herd. She'd met a few others stallions she'd grown to like and she had other plans. With the other stallions, they could always claim some land. She was a good fighter, and so were the other stallions. They would make a tough team to beat.
Maia swished her tail and stood, her front legs over the border of the lands, her back legs still on Axel's land.

A smirk appeared on Axel's ebony face as he walked down the path and toward her "I have found out that Dysnomia will have a filly so you might aswell go now if you dare venture into the danger again" he laughed a little and tossed his mane happily before looking her in the eye, this was not a kind look but a warning one that was telling her to back off now or stay now but no maybe.
He swished the flies off of his legs and then stepped back before lifting up his front hooves and reared high, his front legs kicked in the air and then he crashed down almost hitting Maia on her grey neck but he elegantly turned his hooves to miss her and then he dropped to the ground. He smiled again and tossed his mane, showing power and then he stepped back again allowing her to go and allowing her to stay.

Maia raised her brow slightly, as the stallion reared up. When his hooves missed her by inches, she rolled her eyes. She flicked her tail and trotted off, out of his lands. Whatever, have fun with your family. She shook her head and grinned. at least she wasn't tied down to anyone right now, nor did she have the annoyance of a foal. He was a mate, and a dad. That would be limiting.
Once she was well out of the herd lands, Maia slowed to a halt and turned to face him again. We may see more of each other. I may see more of these lands. She motioned to his herd lands.
Maia winked at him, before turning to trot away again. She's let his mind wander as to what she meant by that. She liked to leave people wondering, kept them on their toes.
