Janco drove the truck down the road. "Ugh!" He complained. "Amy, get off of me!" He psuhed the dog away onto Ardenus's lap. "Keep her off me when I'm driving." He grumbled with a laugh. Ari smiled and petted his doggs head. "She's just excited, Janco. I mean..." His voice trailed off as he looked out the window. A large grand house and an assortment of buildings scattered the section of land. "Where are we?" He asked his companion, who was still wiping slobber off of his face. "I.." He looked out the window to and saw the same thing. The whole yard was run down and old, but it was obviously somehing in its day. The weirdest part of it was a new truck and trailer sitting in the front. "Wanna go investigate?" Janco asked, his mischevious grin coming into place. Ari smiled, "Why not?" They drove down the road and saw a boy. He was working outside. "He lives here?!" Ari asked in surprise. His cousin just shrugged. The boy was small, well, he would have seemed actually pretty tall if the two cousins weren't so huge. They were the smae height, but Ari was doubl the muscle Janco was. They were an unusual pair, but they didn't care. Jancos eyes were cat like, and he always wore sunglasses. The sun bothered his eyes. Half of his right ear was missing too, and a scar went from his temple to his ear where it was cut off. "Well, lets go talk to the boy!" Janco laughed. Amy barked in excitement, getting slobber on the window. "Oh! Amy! I just washed the truck!" Janco complained. Ari laughed again. "What doo you expect from a St.Bernard Janco?"
They pulled up to the house and the boy stopped wrking. Opening the doors, the two boys got out of the large truck. "Mornin'!" Ari called out. Janco nodded his head. Sudden;ty, Amy was out of the truck and running towards the boy. "Amy, no!" Ari called. But it was too late.
Amy leaped onto the boy and covered his face in licks and slobber. "Amy!" Janco snapped. He hated using that tone with her, but it was the only way sometimes. She got off the person and trotted over to Janco. "Good girl," He murmered. Looking at the house, he saw two figures walk past a window, one tall one short. He arched an eyebrow. "Got company?" He asked. Ari punched his shoulder 'lightly'. "Hi," He said to the boy. "I'm Ari, this is Janco, and my dog Amy. We were just passing by and saw this place. Quite a fixer-upper you've got here." Jancos eyes light up behind his glasses. "Need any help?" He asked before Ari could stop him. Amy barked in agreement.

Seth had been hard at work pulling weeds, and then laying down fresh soil in bare spots on the front law, he wanted his place to look persentible. Half way threw pulling a stuborn weed, Seth heard the roar of a truck coming up the lane. Looking up he was surprised to see to young men getting out of the truck.
Before he could wave a massive blur of a dog jumped out of the truck. "Amy, no!" Before Seth could even straiten up from his work the dog was already launching out at him. Epecting to get bit Seth threw his hands up, only to feel the slobber of the St. Bernards lounge against his face. I hate dog... Seth growled in his mind, but was realived when the dog ran back to it's master.
Wipping his face clean, Seth looked to the two large strangers, his hand swiping at the last patch of slobber. Causing his left eye to shut from the mess. "I'm Ari, this is Janco, and my dog Amy. We were just passing by....." Seth opened his eye and blinked a few time, looking at the two large beastes infront of him. He himself was about the same size of the smaller one, but the other one was a beast of a man. Also they both didn't look to much older then him.
Seth looked back to the dog and grimaced inside, but kept his cool. Before he could ask what they wanted Janco spoke up, "Need any help?" Seth sighed happily, it would be nice to have other people here other than the girls. Sly and X-Larain had been living with him for about a week now, and things did seem to be going by smoothly. [glow=beige,2,300]"Ya know that would be great! Im Seth by the way. We have extra rooms if staying here would be easier for you?.... Oh I could also pay you monthly." [/glow]Seth looked to the house, then back to the guys, [glow=beige,2,300]"I'm sure Sly could help set up a room for you guys!"[/glow] Relieved Seth walked up to the guys extending his hand to them, "Welcome to the Forgotten Winds Ranch."

X-Larain went into the kitchen and grabbed the Windex of the counter and went to the window. She enjoyed cleaning windows, when Seth wasn't around. Slys chatter was easy to listen to, and non-stop. She sprayed her cloth and began to wash the window. She stopped suddenly. Seth was talking to two bestly guys out side. One was really tall and muscled with dirty blonde hair. The other was just as tall but not as muscled. He was wearing sunglasses and had his hair cut short. She shook her head and went to spray the window. The Windex was empty. "Ugh!" She moaned. "Sly!" She yelled into the other room. "C'mon, we're going shopping. I'm out of Windex and you have to come because I know Seth won't let me drive his truck!" She grabbed her black and dark purple purse off of the counter along with Seths truck keys and headed out the door. She tripped on the steps and landed on her bottom on the ground.
"The world is conspiring against me!" She all but yelled. She picked herself up and pulled her sweaters hood over her head. Walking past Seth, she almost growled at him, "We're going shopping." She glared at the two tall young men and their dog. She walked over to Seths truck and jumped in. She put the keys in the ignition and slouched in the passenger seat. I hope their not staying... She thought angrily to herself, eyeing the two newcomers. The thinner one turned her way and smiled at her mischeviously. She glared at him and he laughed. Sly showed up and began to talk to them with Seth. X-Larain honked the horn and she hurried over.
"Take long enough?" She grumbled. But soon they were on their way driving. They pulled up to the store and X-Larain hopped out. "I'll be quick." She walked quickly into the store and went through each isle looking for the stuff she needed. But when she got to the clothes she couldn't help herself. She saw a mink pair of button up pajamas with monkeys and bananas on them. She grabbed them and threw them into her cart. She went to the cereal isle next, and filled her cart up with Alphebits, and Shreddies. Then she went to the cleaning isle and grabbed a bottle of Windex.
She payed the clerk and went to the truck. She saw Slys look and smiled. She put her bags in the box and jumped back in. "We were running low on cerel.." She explained, putting on her seatbelt. She pulled down her dark hood to reveal her pale face. She was getting hot in the sweater. "Let's go." They drove home quickly and X-Larain hauled in her groceries. She explained to Seth. "I needed Windex and cereal." She left out the pajamas because she dind't feel like hearing him rant. She walked into the house ignoring everything else and put her stuff away. She cleared out half of one pantry and filled it with her cereal. "This is lookin' good.." She muttered to herself. With a sigh she got back to working on th windows.[/center][/color][/size]

Sly had now spent about a week with Seth and X-Larain, happily cleaning up the dusty house. Now everything was clean and in place, but the yard was still in ruins, all but three pastures and three stalls.
X-Larain had grabbed her from some cleaning and imformed her they were going shopping. Laughing to herself Sly walked outside with X-Larain, before she even shut the door she noticed two guys, but more inportantly, their dog. Walking up to them she smiled happily, [glow=black,2,300]"Hello, I'm Sly Xylina, hope your staying for a bit!" [/glow]Sly looked at the dog longlily, Oh! I love dogs.. Before she could get to talking to the men X-Larain began to honk the horn loadly, [glow=black,2,300]"Sorry, I'll be right back.." [/glow]In a rush Sly left with X-Larain. Once X-Larain had gotten what she needed they headed back to the house, Sly was acxiouse to see if they were going to have anyone else moving in. Sly parked the truck smoothly and then hoped out, noticing the guys still talking outside.
She walked over, letting X-Larain escape with her loot. Before she even began to talk, she bent down to pet the panting St. Bernard, [glow=black,2,300]"Hey girl"[/glow] Sly looked up at Ari, her green eyes shimmering. She was wearing a simple purple tanktop, with her hair flowing down her back. Also she had a pair of black sweats on for working. [glow=black,2,300]"whats her name?" [/glow]Sly almost hoped they were staying, since she loved dogs so much. Again Sly looked from the dog to Ari, Wow... he's big...

[glow=Beige,2,300]"Ya know that would be great! Im Seth by the way. We have extra rooms if staying here would be easier for you?.... Oh I could also pay you monthly. I'm sure Sly could help set up a room for you guys!"[/glow]
Janco cocked his head at the name. Sly? He wondered. What kind of a name is that? He shrugged internally. What ever. Ari nodded in agreement. "Thanks, it'd be nice to settle down for awhile. We've literally been living in Jancos truck." He laughed slightly and looked back at the big white truck. It was pretty muddy from 4X4ing. He sighed. Janco would probably make him clean it up.
Just then, someone yelped out. "The worlds conspiring against me!" She yelled angrily in a femine voice. Janco raised an eyebrow in interest. Ari sighed beside him. She glared at them from under her hood and walked by Seth. "We're going shopping." She growled at him. Amy barked and wagged her tail happily at her. She walked away and sat in her truck in the passenger seat. Then another girl came out of the house. This one was smaller. She had long orange hair, green eyes and a pretty face... and figure. She smiled at them and said,
[glow=Black,2,300]"Hello, I'm Sly Xylina, hope your staying for a bit!"[/glow] Janco smiled approvingly. So this is Sly.. he thought to himself. Leaning over he whispered so only Ari could hear. "Looks like this guy is the owner of a play boy mansion in the making." He gestured towards the cute girl in front of them. Ari sighed and shook his head. The taller girl in the car honked the horn of the truck. [glow=Black,2,300]"Sorry, I'll be right back.."[/glow] They nodded understandingly. "Bye," Ari said. Janco looked back at the truck just as Sly got in. He smiled at the taller girl and she glared feircley at him. He laughed as they drove away.
Turning back to Seth he said, "Happy girl, the tall one is." Ari sighed at his fried. He was such an idiot. Janco looked at he house and back to Seth. "Yeah," he said, scratching the place where his ear used to be. "It would be great to settle down finally." He scratched Amy's big floppy ears. She wined happily and leaned into his hand. Looking at Ari he said, "I guess I'll go get our stuff Ari." He loped over to their truck and pulled out their backs and a big beanbag. He brought them over and set them down. ... Awkward Silence ...
The girls pulled up about ten minutes later. Sly hopped out and walked over to them, smiling. She was wearing a purple tank top, showing her figure, and black sweat pants. [glow=Black,2,300]"Hey girl,"[/glow] She murmered to the dog, scratching her ears. [glow=Black,2,300]"What's her name?"[/glow] She asked. Ari smiled. "Amy." He said. He stuck out his hand. "I'm Ari and this is Janco." He indicated Janco with his head. Janco smiled in return. "It is definately a pleasure to meet you." He said with unnesecary warmth. He looked behind him to see the other girl hauling in her groceries. She had her hood down now, so he could see her face.
She had short black hair that looked basically dark blue and pale skin. Like, really pale. Her eyes were dark and her face was.. grim? angry? No, annoyed. He looked at Seth, "Who's she?" He asked, pointing behind himself. Ari shook his head again. Amy barked and began to lick Slys face.

Seth had been talking to Janco and Ari about payment when the girls finaly drove up. He noticed X-Larain with all the supplies, also noticing some clothes in the bag. With a smile, Seth turned to Sly as she approuched, but she didn't have a bag.
The week with the girls had brought their persinalities out more, and the three seemed to be living ok together. Sly was a rather outspoken girl, also shy at times, but she could and would always win an argument Seth brought up. He had realized early that the smaller girl could take care of herself, but she also seemed the mother type. She always made sure everyone had food, clean rooms and clothes. You never had to ask her to do anything, because it was already done.
The neatness of the house almost unsettled Seth, but he had grown fond of the homeness of it and had relaxed some. Though he still would rather be by himself.
X-Larain was the oppisite of Sly, she would help around the house and outside, but she was pretty much always grumpy. Seth knew she didn't like him, but he could care less, so long as she helped around the ranch. The only thing that Seth had ever liked about the grumpy, secretive girl was how she seemd to make a very loyal friend, even if it was only Sly she befriended. He could respect her for that much.
[glow=black,2,300]"What's her name?"[/glow]
Seth looked up from were X-Larain had disapeared into the house, gazing over to Sly. She had bent over the large St. Bernard and ruffled her ears, also showing off a bit of her clevage. Blushing Seth looked away quickly, cringing to himself. He knew letting girls around his own age move in was a bad idea, and now both newcommers were giving him smirks.
"It is definately a pleasure to meet you."
Seth looked back towards Janco in surprise, noticing how the taller man looked at Sly. The warmth in his voice was almost all Seth could take, he wanted to hit the guy. What a scum bag! Seth took a step forward, but calmed himself, Why am I getting all worked up? Before Seth could muster a glare, Janco looked back at him.
"Who's she?"
Seth followed his pointed finger, [glow=beige,2,300]"Oh... that's X-Larain. Her and Sly are basically boarding here with their two horses, Ryley and Sweety." [/glow]The dog began to bark, along with licking Sly's face, Ew...

X-Larain peeked out the window at the two newcomers. They were all still talking and Sly was bent over petting the dog. Cute... She thought, starring at the big St.Bernard. Wonder what she's like?.. Looking at the new clock on the wall she sighed. It was 11:30, and they'd probably come in and want to eat. Sly normally cooked, but she'd also probably wan to visit.
She went to the pantry and pulled out some bread, nutella, cereal, peanut butter, and jam. Then walked over to the fridge to get some sandwhich meat and fixings. She began to cut up some of the meat and make the sandwhichs. They smelled good and she couldn't help but eat a piece of meat. Well, honestly, she had three peices of meat. Pilling the sandwhichs onto a plate, ten to be exact, she went out and set them on the dining table.
It was a nice table, large too. It held eight seats and still had room to spare. The walls of the dining room were white, like most of the house. Taking off her black sweater, she draped it over her chair. Walking back into the kitchen, she made herself some cereal. Alphebits, her favorite. She took a bite and the milk slopped over onto her light grey tank top. She grumbled and wiped her lip. Walking to the front door she opened it and leaned against the frame.
"I made a couple sandwhichs if y'all are hungry," She called out to them, eating another bite of cereal. The dog looked over at her but stayed where she was, being pet by Sly. Seth was staring angrily at the one who had smiled at her. The thinner one. "They're in the dining room," And with that, she walked back in and to the living room. Shutting off the lights, she walked to the little couch/chair thinger in the corner. She turned on the lamp by it and sat down, draping on leg over the arm. Her black sweats were ripped up in places, causing her to think about the future. She still wanted to leave, especialy if there was new people coming to live here. She didn't mind it here though, if she was being honest with herself. Sly was a happy little girl, and as X-Larain found out, they were both a year older than her. Go figure. She chattered happily about working, Seth, and food. She wasn't at all a complainer. Seth, on the other hand, was always grumpy. She disliked him very much, and didn't trust him at all, especialy since that first night here when he'd 'accidently' cut himself. He was always grumbling, blushing, and frowning. The only times she had ever seen him smile was when Sly was acting blond. Which happened very rarely.
X-Larain shrugged and took the last bite of her Alphabits. She frowned at the empty bowl, went to the kitchen and got another bowl full. On her way back to her chair in the dimly lit living room, she glanced out the window. The others were slowly making their way into the house. She stopped though, noticing how one of the new guys ear was half missing and a scar ran from his temple to his ear. Oh yeah, that definately made her want to stay here. He seemed like the trustful kind of guy. Not. With a sigh she sat back down on the couch and began to eat her cereal again. She was still eating and humming a strange soft tune when the others entered the house.

[glow=black,2,300]"Hey Amy,"[/glow] Sly giggled warmly as the dog began to lick her face, with a laugh Sly stood, wiping at the slobber on her face. The boys were talking together, but she noticed some tension in Seth. Whats got his nose out of joint? Sly shifted her smile as she looked up at Ari and Janco, wondering if the two were related.
"I made a couple sandwiches if y'all are hungry,"
[glow=black,2,300]"Thanks X!"[/glow] Sly's green eyes brightened at the thought of food, she hadn't eaten much today because she had to get laundry done. Her stomach started to growl, and she looked up at Seth sheepishly. He still seemed mad, but also somewhat calmer now. [glow=black,2,300]"Well lets go in then, I can get your room ready after we eat some!"[/glow] With a warm smile, Sly walked up to Seth, [glow=black,2,300]"lets go," [/glow]Gently laying her hand on his shoulder, she ushered him to the door, knowing he wouldn't come and eat until his work was done. Unwind man! Sly smiled to herself as they all headed into the house.
The boys had went straight to the food, but Sly hung back and went into the living room. As usual X-Larain was sitting in her spot in the corner, eating cereal. [glow=black,2,300]"you should join us X-Larain, get to know Ari and Janco abit." [/glow]Sly fingered at a loose strand of hair as she spoke, not trying to get into X-Larain space. [glow=black,2,300]"Oh also I was hoping you could help me with laundry, I swear Seth likes his wardrobe as much as you!" [/glow]She laughed happily, as she went for the kitchen, [glow=black,2,300]"Really, you should talk to them, maybe you'll like them more than Seth?" [/glow]Without another word Sly slid into the kitchen.
She headed towards the walk in fridge, hoping she had some lemonade left. It wasn't the others who drank it, it was her that was the juice guzzler. Sometimes Seth drank some when she offered it, but other than that she had it to herself. Opening the fridge Sly walked in to look for some sort of juice, [glow=black,2,300]"Ahah!" [/glow]She lifted the jug of lemonade up, and turned for the door. Shutting the door tightly behind her she strutted towards the dining room.
When she entered she sat down in her spot across from X-Larain's, setting out the cups she had brought out along with the juice. [glow=black,2,300]"So... Were are you guys from?" [/glow]Sly grabbed a sandwich and began to chew happily, waiting for the conversation to begin.

Janco was surprised at the reaction he got from Seth. The boy took a step forwards angrly, but managed to calm himself before he did anything. [glow=Beige,2,300]"Oh... that's X-Larain. Her and Sly are basically boarding here with their two horses, Ryley and Sweety." [/glow] Janco nodded. "I see," He said, looking Sly over again.
"I made a couple sandwiches if y'all are hungry!"
[glow=Black,2,300]"Thanks X!" [/glow]Sly called to her. She stood up and looked at Seth. Hmm... Janco thought. Where oh where do these two lead... [glow=Black,2,300]"Well lets go in then, I can get your room ready after we eat some!" [/glow]Janco nodded in agreement, as did Ari. "Thank-you!"
She and Seth led them into the large slightly run-down house. The inside was beautiful though. A bit of work needed here and there, but still beautiful. It would have been stunning back in it's day.
Ari and Janco set their stuff down in the porth looking place and followed behind Seth. They didn't even have to duck down because the doors leading to the dining room went all the way to the ceiling. A mound of sandwhichs sat on a plate in the middle of the table. Seth sat down on the end chair, so they sat down on each side of him. Ari to his left, Janco to his right. Sly was missing, Amy with her. They shrugged and grabbed a sandwhich each, which they ate within seconds. They each took another one and ate them slowly. When Sly walked into the kitchen after mumbling something to someone in the other room, they were confused. Then she appeared again and Ari smiled at her.
Janco stood up and pulled out a chair for her beside him. She had lemonade with her and some cups. Ari laughed.
[glow=Black,2,300]"So... Were are you guys from?" [/glow]
Janco opened his mouth to answer, then shut it. He opened it again, but nothing came out. "Ari?" He asked. His cousin laughed at his expression. Looking at Sly with a smile, he said, "Me and Janco are from down south. Um, we never actually asked where we were born. You see, we never really asked where we were born." He took another bit of his sandwhich.
Janco set down his lemonade and swallowed. "Yep," He said with a grin. "Don't need to know the unnessecary as Aris dad always said. See, my dad left my mom before me, and my mother died when she had me. So Aris parents took me in." He smiled warmly at the girl beside him. Ari looked at Seth now, feeling as if maybe they had slightly excluded him. "We lived just about everywhere. Mostly in appartments or small houses, at best half the size of this one."
Janco spoke again. "Mhm, we never stayed in one place for more than a few months, so no point in getting a big, permenant house. See, Aris dad was a-" "Military man. Not the kind in movies that are-" "Abusive and everything. He was actually a really-" "Happy guy. Always full of laughs and smiles. My parents never-" "Fought. Ever. After a while, me and Ari decided that-" "We were going to go out and help-" "Other people. With ranches and such, like-" "Yourself and these two Miss's." Janco leaned back in his chair, putting one arm on the back of Slys. "And so here we are." He said with a laugh.
Him and his cousin always finished each others sentences when they knew what the other was going to say. And they knew that story so well that it was natural. "What about you Miss.Sly? Where are you from?" Ari asked from across the table, still smiling.

Seth sighed unhappily, but he wanted and needed the help, so he would have to deal with more people. Plus he had already invited them to stay, Why I have to rush into things is beyond me! X-Larain had made them some sadwitches, and he had to admit, he was hungery. But the lawn.... Before Seth could even get back to work, Sly was already heading him into the house. Why does she know me so well?... The thought almost brought a smirk to his face, but he again caught Janco looking at Sly, along with a possible glance from Ari. Again Seth's cheeks reddened as he caught himself looking, wondering what was so special.
Seth walked to the table wilingly, grabbing a seat at the head of the table. He had already eaten a sadwitch when Sly appeared from the kitchen, bringing with her a pitcher of lemonade. Pouring himself a glass of juice, Seth sat to listen to the newcomers, who had began to tell their story.
Seem's I'v lucked out with these two! Seth smiled as the boys were done their tale, asking Sly about herself. At this Seth leaned onto his elbows to listen, he himself new nothing of were she came from, never thought to ask. Before she started Seth looked up and noticed Janco's arm on her chair. Sighing, Seth looked out the window nearby, waiting and wondering why X-Larain wasn't in there.

X-Larain sighed when she heard a pair of soft footsteps coming into the living room. Only one person had soft steps like that. Just as her name popped into X-Larain's head, Sly came around the corner. [glow=Black,2,300]"you should join us X-Larain, get to know Ari and Janco abit." [/glow] X-Larain laughed. Just because she wanted to do that! Before she could decline, Sly spoke again with a laugh. [glow=Black,2,300]"Oh also I was hoping you could help me with laundry, I swear Seth likes his wardrobe as much as you!" [/glow] "What? I-" But she stopped herself. She knew the smaller girl was right. She was hopeless when it came to shopping for clothes, the stores didn't stand a chance. She wanted to go to a bigger town too, not too far from Falc-ville. With a sigh, she said, more cheerfully than she would have liked, "Yeah, I'll help you with the laundry." [glow=Black,2,300]"Really, you should talk to them, maybe you'll like them more than Seth?"[/glow] Sly said as she paused at the door. She actually laughed out. Who couldn't she like more than Seth? Except.. She shook her head and tried to once more forget about the past. but how could she when Seth looked so similar? With another sigh, X-Larain nodded. If she was going to be living with them for the next few days, she may as well know a bit about them. Though, it's not like she really knew much about Seths or Slys past. The smaller girl left and X-Larain stood up, taking her cereal with her. She paused at the doorway, Sly asking the guys where they were from. The bigger one, even though they were both huge, sat at the seat between hers and Seths, and Janco on the other side, between Seth and Sly. It was obvious Janco was hitting on Sly, and that Ari found it normal. And best of all, that Seth didn't like it. Maybe it wouldn't be too bad to have them here. She leaned against the doorframe, eating her cereal while they told their story. It was one of a true brotherly bond, even though they were cousins. Near the end of it they began finishing the sentences for each other perfectly. She found this slightly amusing in an annoying way. Then Janco slung one arm on the back of Slys seat as he leaned back in his own, asking about herself. She laughed at Seths reaction. Annoyed, frustrated, confused, then annoyed again. She cursed herself silently, knowing that the others knew she was here. Walking to the table from the doorway in four long strides, she said in a soft sarcastic sweet voice, "Oh boys, that was completely fasinating. So endearing, I must say." Her voice took on that annoying Southerner twang and she smiled mockingly at them, batting her eyes, as she sat down beside Ari. He was intemidating, at the least, but she didn't show it. She grabbed a cup of her own and poured some lemonade in it. It went pretty well with cereal, she had to admit. No, she wouldn't actually. She wouldn't admit something stupid to any of them, or anything really. Setting her bowl of cereal on the table, she looked at Sly, letting her hair drop between her and the others so the didn't stare. Seth was pretty good at not tdoing that anymore, though she caught him a few times. She, too, was curious about the small girl. Perhaps she wasn't as goody as she appeared to be. Obviously these two new guys were pretty goody goody. Going around, helping, loving. She almost shuddered visably at it. Total opposite of her, who went aound, creating havock and pain. Seth appeared to be interested too, as he leaned forwards to hear her tail as well. The pale girl brought her knees up to her chest and reached around them to grab at her bowl of cereal. She took a bite and stared at the girl with expectantley. She felt something nudge her leg and looked down. She saw the big dog of theirs, that St.Bernard. She placed her cereal down and reached out to her with one hand. The dog was in between her and Ari. "Hey there girl," She said softly, rubbing the dogs ears. She smiled her first real smile since living here, aside from the times when she was with Ryley. It was sweet and pleasent, totally transforming her face. She looked back at Sly, dropping her smile, though she kept her hand on the dogs head, rubbing it gentley.

"What about you Miss.Sly? Where are you from?"
Sly's face dropped slightly, she had been enjoying the boys past, seemed like a nice life. Now she was expected to reveal hers. Sly lowered her eyes, now noticing X-Larain had entered. Normaly Sly would have laughed at her comment, but she was trying to get her past in order.
[glow=black,2,300]"I...." [/glow] Again she looked up at everyone at the table, how could she tell them, when she couldn't face the truth herself. Sly sighed inwardly, gathering her thoughts before she began. [glow=black,2,300]"I'm not sure were I lived... I lived with my father and my grandmother in the middle of nowhere, and when I left I wasn't sure were I was." [/glow] Sly laughed nervously, knowing how stupid that sounded. [glow=black,2,300]"I just packed up and left realy, I had no vehicle so I just rode SweetThing. I kinda miss it there, my grandma was realy a mother figure to me."[/glow] She smiled warmly, remembering back to her grandmother, how she always smiled down apone her when she was little. [glow=black,2,300]"I used to be a horse whisperer up there with my dad. I also trained herding dogs, but it wasn't realy what I wanted. So here I am." [/glow]Sly smiled happily, hoping thats all they wanted to know, and all they were going to get. Self consiuosly, Sly pulled down her pant leg more, which was silly since they couldn't see the marks because they were further up her leg on her thigh. Sly looked towards X-Larain, hoping they were done talking about her. There was pleading in her emerald eyes as she watched her freind, she was the only one Sly would consider telling about her past, she just wasn't ready.

"Oh boys, that was completely fasinating. So endearing, I must say."
Janco looked up in surprise at the soft feminem voice that mocked their past with a southern twang. Smiling widly at her, he said in a voice so warm and happy, "Well, I'm glad you enjoyed it. Maybe I could learn a little bit about yourself later? Hm?" He raised his eyebrows at the pale girl. She was wasn't as pale as when in the sun, but she was beautiful. He and Ari must have lucked out coming here. He only hoped Seth wouldn't mind sharing the two lovely ladies. Ari looked at Janco, surprise no where near his face. He kicked Jancos leg under the table, giving him a warning look. The girl didn't seem to happy, almost dangerous to him. Janco smiled back at his cousin/brother in responce. He glanced sideways at Seth, seeing how stiff he was as he looked away from Jancos arm on the back of Slys seet, but the boy leaned forwards, also eager to hear about Slys past. What? He thought to himself. He doesn't even know about her past?
[glow=Black,2,300] "I.... I'm not sure were I lived... I lived with my father and my grandmother in the middle of nowhere, and when I left I wasn't sure were I was. I just packed up and left realy, I had no vehicle so I just rode SweetThing. I kinda miss it there, my grandma was realy a mother figure to me. I used to be a horse whisperer up there with my dad. I also trained herding dogs, but it wasn't realy what I wanted. So here I am."[/glow] Ari noticed how the words came from Sly, uncertain nervous. What's she hiding? He wondered as he looked at the small girl. She was fragile looking, but then again, everyone besides Janco looked fragile to him. But she was so small, he wanted to reach out and comfort her and ask her what was wrong, but he barely knew her and so he didn't. Plus Seth seemed annoyed with Janco already. Janco smiled warmly at the orange haired girl. "Beautiful," He said to her, "You'd probably make the best horse whisperer. Quite a talent," He looked her over again, noticing how slight she was, but also visably strong. His eyes sprakled mischeviously as he looked over at X-Larain. Her knees were still up to her chest, her dark hair slightly obscurred her face, but she was smiling. And it was dazzling. For a moment, he lost all signs of mischeviousness.
"Hey there girl,"
Ari looked at X-Larain in surprise. She was petting Amy, smiling beautifully. The dog looked at her and leaned her head into the human girls hand, whining happily. X-Larain looked up at Sly after her tale was finished, the smile dropped from her face, leaving behind that cold, heartless mask. Ari looked at Janco and Sly. They were both looking at X-Larain. Sly looked pleading for some reason, whilst Janco looked stunned. That was rare, and Ari wondered why. He looked over at Seth, who was looking at Sly. He looked back at X-Larain and smiled, reaced down and scratched Amys leg. It cam up and rested on the chair X-Larain was sitting on. Suddenly, she was half way on the chair with the girl, Nudging her head with her own, giving her big slobbery licks and love. "Amy, come on down," Ari said, trying to pull the dog off the chair. But she wouldn't move. He looked at the girl, "Sorry," He appologised, "She likes people and jumping," He added, looking pointedly at Seth with a smile. Suddenly, the chair fell over, taking both girl and dog with it.
(BTW, it's okay if you guys kind of control my characters. Like Amy is basically free rain [Just don't abuse and yell and stuff obviously. And go along with what the others wrote about her of course. Like if someone took her out for a walk, you cant say she was chasing the horses while shes miles away] And Ari and Janco, if you think it would be an approppriet time for them to smile or nod or something, go ahead.)

Seth watched half amused as the guys averted their attention from Sly to X-Larain. He knew enough that she was not easy to get along with, unless you were Sly. Seth smiled as X-Larain started to pet Amy, He didn't like dogs but even though he never showed it, he liked to see others happy.
[glow=black,2,300]"I..."[/glow]
Seth looked back at Sly as she began to tell her past, but she seemed agitated, and not at all willing to reveal were she was from. Not that I blame her, Seth rocked back in his chair now, trying to give the girl some space. If I knew anything about my past..., Seth's face grew grim as he brought his hands behind his head in a stretch. What happened then? That was so bad? I can't even remember past my 18th birthday?
Seth listened to the short past Sly had, A runaway? He rocked back again in his chair wondering if he should say somthing, but the mere look on Sly's face told him enough. He stopped his rocking and watched Sly as she looked towards X-Larain, the worry on Seth's face was appearent, but he still did nothing to confort or draw attention away from her. He was transfixed as he watched her pleading emerald eyes glimmer.
*Seth!..... Seth please help, you have to Seth, please.*
Seth stood suddenly, the voice inside of his head screamed, and he had began to sweat. Who... does this voice belong to? Seth began to walk to the door to the living room, unable to even register how the dog had knocked X-Larain over.
*SETH!!!*
Seth grabbed his head in pain, a headach now racked threw his brain, bringing images of a blond, green eyed girl. He felt it before it came, a whimper crept up his throat, threatening to get the others attention. Before he knew it he was bolting up the stairs blindly, I have to lie down... He gasped in pain and stumpled on the last step, running into the bathroom door. A sob escaped his now tight throat, What's wrong with me! In horror Seth realized he was crying, he strode to his door and opened it slowly, not able to realize what had made him cry.
*S..e..th*
The voice was now a mere whisper, but still Seth's body shook with silent sobs, tears leaking from his eyes blindly. It has to be my memory! It.. must be coming back. Seth layed on his bed, trying to calm himself, he wanted to know what had happed that caused his mind to block out his childhood. Even if it killed him.

X-Larains hand paused on Amy's head at Jancos words. That stupid bastard! She thought angrily, glaring at him hatefully. She smiled at Amy, pleasantly, and when she looked back up, she saw Jancos normally mischievous expression lost. He starred at her with a strange expression she didn't get. Why was he even looking at her still? But Slys story interrupted and she was confused yet again. Why is she so.. snippety about her past? She wondered. Then she began to pull at something. Her pants? Why? X-Larains eyes took in everything at once, curious and angry. Seth had leaned back in his hair, Jancos arm still rested on Slys chair, Sly looked pleadingly at her. Wait-pleadingly? Why? Oh, she got it now. She didn't want to say anymore, and she needed back up. Well what the hell did she think X-Larain was going to do. Then Janco said something to Sly about her being beautiful and how she was perfect. X-Larain rolled her dark red-brown eyes in disgust. He's such a pig. Seth suddenly went rigged. She glanced sideways at him, confused even more. Just then she felt something and looked down, Amy was halfway on her chair, basically pushing X-Larain. She began to lick her and she couldn't help but let a soft, almost bell like laugh escape. "Amy, come on down, Sorry, She likes people and jumping," She actually gave him a small smile, even to her surprise. He reminded her of a much bigger -much more powerful- man version of Sly. Just then the chair tipped and X-Larain and Amy fell. Before her head hit the ground, she saw Seth race up the stairs, face red and looking in pain. Her vision blurred only for a moment when it hit the ground. Everything went black. She curled into a ball, her stomach hurting from Amy landing on it and knocking all the wind out of it. But was wrong with Seth? A sudden head-ache attacked her and she groaned. "Sly.." She murmured. Her head hurt almost unbearably. "Go see what's wrong with Seth..." She closed her eyes for a moment and seriously almost passed out. "Sh*t.." She cussed groggily. Literally dragging herself, she made it to the corner, brought her knees up to her chin and leaned her head against the wall. For the moment, she wanted to pass, to let her head-ache fade, and forget about the world. But her brain just wouldn't shut down. It was still in full thinking mode. Why was Sly so.. secretive? Why was Seth in pain? Why was Janco such a player? Was was Ari so nice? And why the hell did that dog have to be so heavy?! Once more she groaned, and she slumped onto the ground, hitting her head again. Before she could even utter another curse, she felt it all go away. She would have smiled, but she couldn't. She felt peaceful. Even if only for a moment. Then she wished she was still awake. That she could just have the head ache back, the big dog, the small girl, the scary guy and the two big beasts. But no, she had to have the past. She had to see them again. Feel every pain again. These nightmares had stopped after the first night of living here, but now they were more realistic than life had been moments ago. Then she saw that kind faced man. The scrawny one, the happy, helpful one. And his death. That had hurt her. So badly. But when they left her, she managed to escape and find Ryley, though she could hardly move or talk. She could see his dead body, just lying there in the kitchen with a knife in his head still. And then, once more -thankfully- it went black, and she couldn't see or think or remember. She felt dead, but knew she wasn't, she was just.. sleeping.
