This is a wild horse RPG-
NEW:Animals can get sick! During vet checks the vet may find something wrong with them. Mostly they will not die, however there are occasions where animals may die. This rule only relates to tame horses & dogs.
Creation Char Rules
You ARE allowed to create a tame horse for your human character, therefor allowing to RP both horse and rider
You can only Create TWO tame horses per human char
As long as you follow the rules your character does NOT need to be accepted for you to RP
Creating chars with magical powers/horns/wings is not allowed
Your chars can only be human or a horse nothing else!
You can have multiple characters just keep them active
When creating a horse please follow the breed standards (other post in the rules board)
Only realistic horse colors are allowed!
And guys not everyone can be a 6 foot human. Be creative, ok?
General
No porn
No talk about religion
No talk about politics
no racist talk
Player harassment will get you banned (if someone is doing this contact me!)
If staff are abusing powers contact me!
What the staff says goes!!
No harassing or back talking staff (or members for that matter)
No OOC insults/Fights
IC insults/Fights are allowed
Posting:
NEW RULE= Your character CAN be in more than one thread at a time.
When you post your IC posts must be at least 150 words.
Horses can talk to other horses they can't talk to humans! (just so we're clear)
If it is a claiming terra thread then the post needs to be 300 words long
If you're claiming a terra because of inactivity then the post needs 350 words
If you're fighting for a terra then the number of words is up to you and the other person fightig
Stallions:
CAN:
claim terra
claim mares
fight for terra
fight for mare
Fight for positions within a herd
try to steal mares
try to force mares to join herd (mares can fight and try to get away)
breed at the age of 3
adopt a foal
Mares:

Claiming Terra:
-If a land is open for claim you are required to write a 300 word IC RP post
-Every once in awhile a staff member will post an activity check on all herd lands. If you're the lead of the land you can reply saying you're active. However if you don't reply within 7 days the land will go up for claim.
- Okay let's say there is a land and someone owns it but they haven't posted on it in the last two weeks, and they haven't been coming online and they haven't posted in the away board. The land is open for someone to come in a claim it.
- However if the land is owned and the person that owns it hasn't posted on it two weeks BUT they have been coming online, you have to wait 1 month before it is open for claiming.
- Both of the above things don't take affect if the person posts in the away board.
Fighting for terra:
If someone challenges you to a fight you have 7 days to reply
if you don't reply within the week the terra/mare/position in herd automatically goes to them (unless you're on vacation and you posted in the general board saying you were leaving for a while)
If you're gone for more than 2 weeks (even if you say so) people can claim your terra from inactivity
Staff's terra can't be fought for unless they decide they want to let people try to claim it.
Once the person accepts the challenge got to the volcano and make a battle post.
Each person has 3 hits and 2 dodges.
When the fight ends if the people can't decide for themselves who won and staff member will judge.
The winner gets whatever they were fighting for (terra, mares, ect.)
Fighting for Mares - CHANGED
If a stallion wants to fight for a certain mare from a different stallion then the stallion that wants to fight posts and challenges the other stallion to a fight.
The other stallion has 5 days to accept the challenge.
If they respond in time then they go to the "Battle Grounds"
If they don't respond in time then the other stallion gets the mare
In the fight each stallion gets 1 dodge and two hits.
One post per stallion
The fight will be judged by a staff member
The winner will get the mare
The mare that was fought for has to stay with the stallion that won her. The only way she can leave is if the stallion says ok or another stallion fights for her.
Breeding
Breeding season is Summer, Winter
no Graphic breeding!
mares and stallions can breed at age 3
the mare must be pregnant until the season is Fall, or Spring
When a mare gives birth the stallion and mare most post their forms (from the join the story section) On the thread where the mare gave birth.
Then a staff member will come and post what the foal looks like and stuff like that
The name is chosen by the people who RP the mother and father of course.
A mare has to skip one breeding season (after having a foal) before she can breed again.
Foals:
All foals age 1 year every RL week.
After the foal becomes 3 they only age 1 year every 1 RL month.
When the foal reaches age 3 you can put it up for adoption or decide who RPs it.
You can also kill it.....
Wrangler Rules
NEW RULE: You can only create up to 2 tame horses for your character! All others must be caught or bought.
A wrangler can post in all boards!!!! The only boards a wrangler can't try to capture a horse in is the, mare, stallion, and foal havens.
When you join as a human/wrangler you are expected to open a bank account and apply for a house.
When Ranglers have come to capture the wild horses the box at the top left of the screen right under the news will say they are here.
To capture a horse you must RP with that wild horse (no powerplaying!)
The wild horse can choose to get away, just keep trying
Once a wild horse is capture you can either try to train it or sell it
Training it requires you to RP with that horse horses can refuse to be trained if they just "hate" the character trying to train them.
To sell it you just need to make a post with its details and the asking price
To breed two tame horses together the two horses must RP together.
The horses CAN REFUSE to breed
To enter in races/jumping competitions all you have to do is post the horses name and then you must post a 300+ word RP about the race/show jumping competition.
The staff will judge the competition based on RPing ability.
