"Alright." He responded with a small smile. He watched as gathered both of her children, ready to head over to his truck. He grinned at her question. Nodding his head in the direction of his large black Toyota Tundra. He absolutely loved his pickup truck. Plus, a pickup truck, or any kind of truck generally, was usually a good choice for the country. He started walking, only slightly hearing Nicola's comment about Scott crying when he got the hiccups. He led the way towards the large truck. It wasn't to far away from where they were standing. When Scott started to cry, his eyebrows shot up in surprise, and he turned around. Connecting the dots and finally realizing what she had said.
He bit his bottom lip as he saw tears well up in Nicola's eyes. "Uh.. yeah..." He continued to walk. His 6 foot frame, towering over the woman and her two children. He noticed people watching and whispering. Catching snippits of their conversations. Gossip, and about Nicola being a bad mother. Not that he knew her that well, she just didn't seem like that, at all. His hazel eyes narrowed, and he gave the people whispering a death glare. They shut up immediately. He was slightly intimidating. If he wanted to be. He was fairly sure it was because of his height.
He opened the trucks door and let Nicola climb in the truck with her kids. Shutting the door and then went around to the drivers side, climbing in and buckling himself up. Quickly, he inserted the key into the ignition and got the truck started. In about ten minutes, they arrived at the ranch. The truck pulled into the area in front of his house, where he parked it. Hopping out and then opening the passenger door. Waiting for Nicola and the two children to get out. "Welcome to Camera Shy Stables." He said with a grin.

 Nicola got in the truck and then watched the world go by as it drove. She then smelt the familier smell of a ranch as she walked outside the truck and got out. She picked up Scott and then Lauren jumped out of the truck herself before looking around the ranch "its awesome". Nicola looked around the ranch herself and curtseyed to Andrew "why thank you kind man" she said in a high posh voice before laughing. She heard a whinny from the stables and then truly felt at home. "its perfect" she said just a little over a whisper and then Scott turned his head at Andrew "Andrew!" he shouted and pointed his finger to him. Nicola looked at the baby and smiled in delight before hugging him tightly.
"Looks like he has taken a shine to you" she said and then looked at Andrew before looking at Scott. She thought about the question she was going to ask and then decided Andrew was safe enough so she held Scott out to Andrew "want to hold him" she said and smiled as Scott held his arms out to Andrew and repeated his name.

Andrew grinned as the three got out of his truck. Lauren jumping out on her own. And Nicola getting out, holding Scott. "I like to think so." He responded with a soft smile on his lips. He chuckled as she curtseyed, but mainly it was at her fake accent. Shaking his head, he looked out over his ranch. It had white fences surrounding the property. It wasn't the best that you could get, but considering he had to work to earn the money to buy this place and fix it up. It was pretty darn good. At the sound of a small baby voice saying his name he turned around, eyes slightly widened by surprise. "So, how many other Andrew's does he know?" He asked with a joking tone of voice. He shrugged and grinned at Nicola's words. "What can I say, children love me." He responded, still evidently joking. But, his words did hold truth behind the exterior of his tone. "Sure" He responded easily. Reaching out with a smile and gently taking Scott from his mother. It must've been an interesting sight, a tall man, holding a small baby on a ranch. He was just glad no one was here to get the wrong ideas.
"You want to go look at where you'll be staying or check out the horses? Well, horse, for now. I've only got one so far." He grinned. Waiting patiently and glancing down at Scott in his arms. Smokey hazel eyes glanced up and locked onto Nicola's. Giving her a brief smile.

Nicola laughed "none, only you" she laughed and then her smile widened at his next comment. Scott was happy to be with Andrew and he gurgled happily. "Maybe the house then the stables, so I can settle the kids down" she said and heard the familier sound of a horse box rumbling down the path toward them. "yeah...I sorta bought a horse" she said and waited for the doors to open. A loud neigh came from the horse box and the doors unlatched and opened. A grey dappled Arabian mare was led out and Nicola grabbed the rope and then looked at Andrew.
The horse was used to the halter and after their little breaking in of the bridle the mare was tired. Lauren looked up and saw the horse and she immediatly ran over and patted its shoulder. "This is Crazy Diamond, a racer" she said and the horse sniffed the air and then smelt a very familier smell so she neighed and pawed the ground. Nicola saw a man and sighed a few forms and then he got in the truck and drove off. Crazy Diamond stretched out her neck and sniffed at Andrew. She pulled back her neck and whinnied to hear another whinny from the stable block.

He gave her a lopsided smile, and then looked down at Scott, who seemed quite happy being where he currently was. Hazel eyes looked back up and Andrew nodded in response to her answer to his question. "Sure thing." He agreed readily. "It's not all that fancy but it's okay." His head turned as he heard the sound of a vehicle followed closely by a horse trailer. One eyebrow raised in a silent question, just before Nicola gave him the answer. "Really?" Truth be told, Andrew as slightly surprised to hear this, nonetheless he waited to see the horse. He watched as the back doors of the trailer were opened a beautiful arabian mare was led out. He gave a low whistle. "She's a beaut'." He complimented.
Andrew watched as the mare stretched her elegant neck out and sniffed him, just before she let out a loud neigh. He grinned as he heard a responding neigh from the stable area of his ranch. He shook his head slightly, but the smile stayed in place. "Sounds like Horizon can't wait to meet her." He commented with a soft chuckle. He glanced at the mare before looking over at the house. "Do you think you could have one of the drivers take her down to the stables and put her in a stall, that way you can take Lauren and Scott to the house and then we can head down to see the rest of the ranch."

Nicola pushed back her long hair and then laughed "not fancy, you seem to forget that I lived on the streets". In her eyes everything here was amazing and it was a perfect home for Crazy Diamond who was loving the attention from Lauren. Nicola nodded and then stroked the horses neck before talking to the driver again. He immediately took the rope and started to lead the tired horse toward the stable and into a stall before walking into his truck and driving away. Lauren stood by her mother and then smiled happily as she couldn't wait to go the house and look around. Nicola couldn't wait to settle down for the night in a nice warm bed for once and then go shopping to buy herself and the children some new clothes. "So, maybe we could go out for a ride soon as it would be awesome to test out the horses paces" she winked as this was a racing stables, almost, and it would test out the speed of the horses. She couldn't wait to start breaking in her horse more so she would be fit to ride and hopefully become good enough for her children to ride.
Scott yawned slightly and then he closed his big brown eyes and fell asleep in Andrew's arms. Nicola laughed quietly as she thought he would fall asleep soon as Scott had been awake for a long time. Lauren watched her brother fall asleep and she put her hand over her mouth to stop herself laughing which could wake him up. She took her mum's hand and then looked at Andrew and then smiled as she saw her mother was looking at him in that way. Lauren giggled slightly as she knew the look but other people didn't mummy loves Andrew played in her mind and she giggled again.
