Ranch Name: Valley Oak Ranch
How many people are going to live there?: Rory and his sister Grace, currently, but it can house several more trainers or riders who are employed if they are in need of a place to stay, since the land includes several outbuildings that were not destroyed when developers bought it.
Any animals besides horses living there?: Bandit the doggeh.
Description of house: Valley Oak is situated on a rather ancient piece of land, and used to be a plantation home. The original manor home serves as the main house, and is rather large but it still needs some work. The cotton fields have been replaced with lovely gravel rings, which are rather large, and a small practice track to train race horses. The secondary manor house stands not far from the barn, and is where Rory usually stays, as it is not so big.

The barn is rather Victorian and can comfortably house quite a few horses. Like the rest of the land, it needs quite a bit of work to get it up to perfection. The rest of the plot is woodland, which makes for lovely but dangerous trails, where branches are often found across the paths. Other than being terribly old except for the track and rings, it is quite a comfortable place to be if you don't mind the floors creaking.

Personality: Bandit is shy and a lot quieter than the other dogs. He learns commands very quickly and is willing to be taught more.

History: Was a stray just wandering the streets and he was picked up and brought to the pound. Bought by Rory Calder, and has lived happily at Valley Oak ever since.

Personality: Knight holds a strong personality that no one can ignore. He loves to lead, and be in front, and therefore needs someone who can understand this, and train him out of the bad habits. One of the habits is letting out a shrill neigh in the middle of the race, though he has only been in one. In every practice run with another house, he screams out his challenge, and thus, it needs to go. His mouth is soft, and responds much better to the simply tap of the heels and squeeze of the legs. He is very loveable, but needs a trainer who can love him, and still maintain the self-confidence needed to control him.
