Stella sighed as the tires of her expensive sports car hit the gravel. This is definitely not what the vehicle was meant for, but if it had to be done, it would be. She would have a hand or something bring Ace from the veterinary clinic when she got hired - and she was absolutely sure that she would be. After all, who in their right mind would turn her down? The car bounced over the gravel as she eyed the lines of chestnut trees in boredom, before finally pulling into a parking space and gathering her things before sliding out the door, adjusting her ray bans as she stepped into the sun. Designer jeans hugged her waist as she walked, showing off her long legs.
The main house was fairly simple to find, just off the road and not a very far walk. Stella strode up confidently, the sun bouncing off of her shiny locks. Polished fingernails reached out and knocked on the door twice. then, almost immediately, Stella began to look at the surroundings. This was the only barn around that seemed to fit her qualifications - as usual she wouldn't have to do anything except ride. To tell the truth, she barely knew how to tack up her own horse, although she probably could have done it from the umpteen times she had watched some incompetent hand fiddle with the straps.
Growing impatient, Stella rang the doorbell and called out: "Is anyone in here?" It had only been a few minutes - not even that, really - since she had rung the doorbell. but Stella was used to getting instant gratification for what she did. With a sigh, she looked over towards the large barns. She knew that Ace would be staying in the one to the left - the one for stallions - if she decided to bring him here. And she had a feeling that this was the place. She could live here, too, and that was good.

Vivian woke happily, she put on her slippers and dressing gown before going toward her wooden dresser and sitting on the stool infront of it. She brushed her hair carefully and looked out of the window, it was still dark. She then looked over at the clock, it read 6:00, and so she quickly got dressed into her jeans and a thin red jumper which hugged her waist, showing all the curves. She opened the door and the cold air quickly blowed into the house but then a light nicker came from the stables. Tyme, her new $10k horse, was waiting for herself to start on their morning ride. She walked slowly toward the barn and opened its huge door. Tyme greeted her with a nicker "hello Tyme, my baby boy" she said stroking the horses nose.
Once the stable was cleaned and the horse had fresh water she groomed the horse over. After everything was done she tacked Tyme up and led her out of the huge barn. Vivian mounted quickly and squeezed the mare's sides. It wasn't long before the pair were cantering along a bridle path and Tyme was loving every bit of it. "Come on Tyme, show me what you've got" she said and urged the horse into a gallop. They were on the outskirts of a forest which some people hunted in and this wasn't good for Tyme. A gunshot was loud and clear, Tyme's eyes widened and then reared, Vivian lost balance and fell. Tyme galloped off and she was left on the floor. "Tyme!" she said sharply. After a while, as she sat on the edge of the path, there was a clatter of hooves and a girl saw herself "had a fall? Well let me take ya home" she said thinking Vivian was inexperianced. She accepted the offer anyway and then after a short way she was back home and at her ranch where Tyme was waiting in one of the pastures.
She untacked the horse and sponged her down before putting everything away and walking back to the house. She changed into another tight jumper and new jeans before walking downstairs and toward her grand piano. Her fingers danced on the keys, playing them so elegantly the music soon filled the house. She sang softly as her keys played, the melody was another one she had created herself. After a while she stood up and put the sheets away when two knocks came from outside. She took her red hair out of the ponytail and put a brush through it. The bell rang again and a voice came from outside so she sighed and walked briskly toward the door. She opened the door and saw a rather pretty girl standing at the door Hello, welcome to Chestnut Ridge, how may I help you?" she said in a friendly tone before smoothing her cream top which showed of every curve she had which were all in the right places.

Stella glanced up as finally the door was open, looking slightly riled. A faux smile slowly crossed her face as she looked up at Vivian, her sunglasses flashing in the sunlight, trying to contain her impatience as she studied her future employee. She could tell that this was Vivian Ward simply by the poise she had and the easy way with which she greeted Stella. "My name is Stella Etoile, and I've come to inquire about your open positions as a show rider," she said, with a flawless grin, her voice light and careful, ever motion looking a little bit planned. She removed her sunglasses slowly and tucked them into a pocket, studying what she could see of the house behind Vivian. Not much, but it looked nice. The sort of place that she liked, no doubt.
"I've been show jumping for eleven years," she said after a moment, "under an Olympic riding coach. I know my job and I know how to do it." She said the words simply, without a hint of covering up. She really was a good rider. Maybe not the best, but a good rider. Any stable would bee foolish to not accept her, and as a result she was reasonably confident about getting the job. "I own my own horse, who will be stabled her if you accept. He's got very good breeding, and he could go very far in the right conditions." But Ace hadn't been exactly.... perfect... lately, in fact quite the opposite. The horse was getting so darn pigheaded, something had to be done about it soon. Hopefully there would be a trainer here who could whip it out of the fool, make him behave like he once had. They already had some points in jumping, and Stella was confident that they could win more.
