We Meet Again Blink...

Cascada strode across the lands which were once hers but kept out of sight. She watched Don't Blink cross the lands proudly so she snorted as she knew what would happen soon. Cascada stepped forward and into the light "well well well, we meet again Blink" she said and smiled kindly to him "Isabelle is a adult now my friend, currently in the lands of a dark king" she chuckled and swished the silver tail.

She wondered what was going through his mind as her wounds had healed and she was happy to talk to her enemy like this but hopefully he wouldnt hurt her just yet. "So Blink, you proved to yourself you could beat a mare, oh my how clever" she said sarcastically and snorted but soon calmed down. She was slightly worried as she didn't know how he would react but hopefully he would let her explain as she was ready to fight back.

Blink's ears pricked immediately at the sound of his name. He turned his cranium towards the noise instantly and searched for the owner of the voice. When he saw the culprit, he spat angrily towards her and pinned his ears back. "Cascada." His lyrics were filled with hate and disgust. "What are you doing on my territory?" Blink swished his tail out of annoyance. Why would she come back here? Did she not learn her lesson the first time?

Blink's hackles raised defensively as she spoke. Isabelle with the dark king? That was an odd statement. "This is of no concern to me." He bared his teeth and stomped his massive hoof, ready to pounce Cascada. She shouldn't have come here expecting to live. He would hear her out and then attack. Blink's eyes raged with a fire burning passion of hatred. How dare she intrude on his territory!

"So Cascada, you proved to yourself you couldn't beat a stallion. Oh my, how clever." Blink rolled his eyes sarcastically towards her and shook his head. "What do you want, Cascada?" His words dripped with venom as he tried to keep his cool for now. He did not like having this pesky mare here. She deserved to die and he would make sure of it. He did not intend on letting her out alive.

"I want somewhere to live Blink, that is all I need" she replied and dropped her head low but her eyes watched him still "I have no intentions of fighting, I just need a strong herd to help me". She looked back up at him "and it is winter, I can produce foals which will make this herd bigger" she said hoping that he would see sence as she knew her foals would be strong and if he was the father than even stronger.

She flicked her silver tail and then looked at Blink "please, let me stay Blink, I mean no harm to you, the herd or..." she said and looked deep into his eyes "...Insanity Falls". She had finally called the herd what it really was and she was proud of that as it was something she wouldn't normally do but now she was accepting he had won "the better horse won Blink, you can kill me now if you want or will you make your herd stronger by bringing in a mare who can pruduce foals".

Blink stepped back in shock at her words. She wasn't here to get the land back? Well...she was smart, that's for sure. "Well...what you ask is tough, considering everything that has happened...but I might reconsider. Foals in this herd do sound pretty good." He flicked his tail thoughtfully as he eyed her.

"Fine...you can stay in Insanity Falls. As long as you don't ever try to take over power. I don't want to here you asking to be lead either. I already have my eye on someone else." He grinned evilly and chuckled. "I'm not going to kill you, Cascada. You can stay for now. If I see that you aren't behaving yourself, you will be gone. Deal?" His muscles relaxed slightly and he lowered his head to graze, waiting for her reply.

Cascada flicked her tail happily "well Blink, I must say Winter will not be here forever" she said and whinnied softly "and the sooner a foal the better" she said. She knew that the stallion would be happy to have the foals as she knew he wanted the herd to be strong "a foal would be amazing, so strong with two strong parents, a true born leader" she said, her imagagination running away with her.

She then snapped back into reality and looked at Blink "sorry" she said quickly and smiled, feeling foolish. "So Blink..." she said hoping the stallion would make the first move as she was not good at it. She did wonder if he would want a foal straight away or would want to wait but she thought that a stallion would want to make his herd bigger as soon as possible. Cascada looked at him again and waited patiently.

Blink shook his head and spoke boldly, "No it won't be here forever..." He looked away thoughtfully and snorted. Did he really want foals with this mare? He should probably for the sake of the herd, but he didn't really like her all that much.

He pawed the ground and retorted, "With one strong parent. I'm the leader here, Cascada." He flicked his banner at her impatiently. "If you want a foal we better get this over with." He wasn't happy about it, but it had to be done. His ears swiveled instinctively as he took a step towards her.

"Just so you know I don't want to do this. I already have a true love..." He shook his head and watched her. This was a tough thing for this stag to do. Kya was his one and only love and he didn't feel comfortable doing this with anyone else.

Cascada smirked "oh my, your not much of a dark are you as a true dark doesn't care who they mate, they just do and they charm while courting with every mare" she said and stepped back "so if you don't want a foal then fine, I will just stay here leaving no benefit to your herd". She flicked her tail and wondered what it would be like if she went to another land who might want her.

"I could always leave these lands Blink, and then your herd wouldn't have so much members, it would crash and burn soon" she said and laughed but no smile was on her face as she laughed. "Its up to you Blink, either be happy about doing this or no foals, no one to keep this herd even stronger as you forget, every year a new foal would be here and the herd would soon populate fast" she said and pawed the ground, looking into his eyes.

Blink pondered her way of thinking for a moment then rolled his eyes. "Trust me, Cascada...I am as dark as they come. I've just made a choice to love somebody." He spat at the ground and flicked his tail towards her angrily. "If you don't want to stay then just go. My herd will not crash and burn without you. You think you are so high and mighty when in reality you are my concubine." He grinned wickedly and shook his cranium pridefully.

"Let's just get this over with. I need the foal." He approached her quickly and pawed the ground anxiously. He hated doing this...He belonged to Kya...

Blink summoned up the courage and eyed Cascada worriedly. He had to do this for his herd. He wanted to be strong and thrive. He nodded once to Cascada before saying, "Okay...I'll do it."

Cascada rolled her eyes at the stallion and yawned as he talked but then pricked her ears "ok Blink, but you forget this foal will be a rightful heir to the throne as he has royal blood" she said and smiled as this might give her power if her son is the prince or princess. She wondered if the foal would be against her and stay with her father or be more like her mother.

She nodded to Blink and tossed her mane before softly neighing "ok then Blink, I am ready to help the herd but one thing my friend, please can we put the past behind us and start a fresh" she said and looked at him with pleading eyes as if it was one thing she hated more than everything it was people hating herself. Cascada hoped he would accept but with this stallion, she didn't know.
