Virtue wishes to be Duchess.
One step at a time, one step at a time. Came the mares thought. First I must gain position of Duchess, then maybe I will have a chance at becoming queen. This ivory dark looked more like a light than anything else, shining white pelt, innocent expression, big, blue eyes. Big, electrical blue, eyes. All these things were a mask to the personality that lurked within this beautiful form, like a hidden demon where nobody would think to find it. Only the eyes gave away her thoughts, if you looked closely you could see her intent, dancing mockingly in the blueness. The sound of an almost silent hoof thudding gently on the ground as it crushed a patch of lush, green grass. The leg it was attached to was stretched forwards in an elegant position that portrayed the mares beauty brilliantly. Then the shape of her form came into view, looking like a ghost in the misty morning she spoke, softly, "Virtue, is a lie. I, am virtue. Am I a lie?" Came her words as she used that terrifying tone that gave many horses nightmares when they heard it. Then a snort rang round the clearing, the mist had been playing tricks on her again, there was no-one there. She lifted her beautiful head with its silver tassels swaying gently and cold eyes surveyed the meadow around her. The noise of another hoof, crushing another bit of grass, came to Virtue's ears, she wasn't satisfied. So she lifted her forelegs of the ground and balanced on her two back legs like a human, then she brought her hooves crashing down on the grass again and again, crushing the grass. This wasn't enough. Once again she rose upwards, but this time she tore at the earth itself, ripping large wounds in the soil. When she returned to her normal stance her head was high in disdain and her tail was lifted slightly. That, was better. She dance forwards, looking exactly like a show horse in a showing ring, and ducked her head down again to graze. She was acting very erratically today, very random. Not that she cared that much, she bit down on the emerald grass and chewed it for a few seconds before swallowing. Her ears twitched as she grazed and her nostrils flared as they scented the cold, misty air. When she lifted her head again it was to look around, the mist was clearing, and she could see something. She watched as a huge black stallion came to be in front of her and looked at him slyly. She could see that he was watching her very closely, and that he was light. “Soooooo, little light. Did you lose your way on a cold autumn night?” She tainted her voice with her 'witch' tone and waited for its effect. Predictable. Now she stepped closer, a horrifying smile of malice coming to her lips and seizing her face, she made her eyeOne step at a time, one step at a time. Came the mares thought. Now she stepped closer, a horrifying smile of malice coming to her lips and seizing her face, she made her eyes shine madly as she walked towards the terrified stallion. She watched him rear up to attack and she brought her hooves against his stomach, knocking him over. Then she switched to innocent mode, her blue eyes widened and her voice grew scared, “Wh-what was th-that?” She wobbled, the gullible stallions reply trickled into her ears. “Deary me, deary me, but I'm a witch.” really, she thought, her witch impression wasn't that good. In fact, it was rubbish. But it was a misty morning and the stallion was tired. He shouldn't be tired! At the stallions next words she was just bored. What was the point of doing this if they were that easy to deceive? This stallion was so stupid! She could see why he hadn't found a herd. Suddenly she threw away the mask of innocence and tossed her head to rid her eyes of their pure blueness. When she settled again, she still looked like a light, just a very cocky one. “You did didn't you, I know you lost your way, and you'll never find it again.” Most of her speech was quiet, though slightly tainted by a hiss. However, at the last words she couldn't keep a note of pleasure out of her tone. The stallion just looked around, Virtue took this to mean that he wanted to be knocked out so she extended her forelegs and tapped them, hard, on the black stallion's skull. Then she lifted the front half of her glistening body into the air and called out towards the sky, “Come, stallion of this place. For I wish to be your Duchess!” Under her breath she added something, “To put it more correctly, I will be your duchess.” s shine madly as she walked towards the terrified stallion.
