Here he was. The living shadow. All he saw was darkness, and darkness was what was in his mind. A mind that had never seen colour. All it could see was black, and that was all that it had ever seen. A world of black. It stepped forward in the night, entering unknown lands. A low, threatening sound escaped from deep within, warning off threats.
The stallion rose, up onto it's hindquarters, and uttered a loud, merciless neigh. He wanted to be heard, and feared. White, pupil-less orbs glared unseeing into the night, waiting for the stallion to come. This horse was not here to fight.
Jos dropped to the floor, the smell of horses attacking his nares, and the sounds of the night were ever present in his auds. The white splashes on his black pelt stood out, luminescent in the moonlight. The massive frame was tensed, every muscle visible beneath the skin. Alone in the constant darkness, the blind beast waited.

Cascada smelled the stallion and decided to go over herself instead of waking the lead who was very tired in the last few days. She rose slowly and stretched before walking over to the stallion and then let out a low nicker "Hello stallion" she whispered "our master is sleeping, I am Cascada and welcome to Fosse De Sabel" she said and yawned slightly. She would do what ever she could for the mighty stallion Embezzlement, in her heart he was her ruler and that would never change. "So, stallion, if you could stay here I could fetch my ruler" she said and started to canter off and toward his sleeping grounds.
She climbed the path quickly and then saw him "Bezzle, a stallion is here and I don't think he is here to fight" came the words of the mare. She smiled at him and then her grin widened. She was light and had not loved until Snow Storm but now she loved him, the stallion infront of her. Everything about him made her want to protect him, serve him and, of course, produce his offspring. She looked at him, into his eyes and then whispered quietly to her king "Bezzle, I... she started and shook her head, this was hard for her and she decided to put it off telling him "..never mind" she looked out across the darkness. The moon was a sliver of silver, it wasn't putting any light on the earth but she didn't mind as the cold helped her cool after the long day of sun.
