Maia glanced over at Scream. It wasn't that his answer shocked her, actually it had been much better then what she had anticipated. Still it made her wonder, what she would do in that situation. Well I guess I'd be okay with it if it meant nothing. She lowered her voice and swished her tail again. Although, my mate better be a d**n fine one if I let it slide. A grin spread across her face and she took a step back from all of the stallions.
Maia looked at them all for a few seconds, checking to see who was acceptable enough to stand beside her. They all seemed to match up in the looks area, but personality was the big block right now. Who did she click with most? Would she be able to stand them when all the flirting was gone? Would they wind up hating each other later in life? How am I suppose to know?

Screamed grinned slyly back at her as she spoke. Now he could definitely be with her. He needed an understanding mare that knew he was going to make some mistakes. Nobody's perfect...especially not the daredevil Scream.
"I like the way you think, Maia." He pondered this thought momentarily before clearing his throat boredly. If she didn't decide soon he was going to go insane! He really liked her for some reason and wanted this whole thing to be over soon. The nice side of him was beginning to show. This side was usually triggered at the sight of a beautiful mare...
His eyes closed for a moment, imagining himself a couple years down the road. Could he see Maia with him? Would she be a suitable lead mare for his future herd? Was she dark enough for him? So far he hadn't seen anything evil out of her, but everything else was a sure fire yes. Could this one obstacle stop him from wanting her? Scream was evil...and he needed somebody just as cruel beside him.

Maia smiled and nodded to Scream. She loved his appearance, and his personality fit the dark stallion profile very well. It was just the fact that Squeezie was also a very good option, and the good stallion had sparked her interest with his mysterious silence. He was a hard one to consider though, seeing as he was a light stallion. She'd never even attempted to imagine herself with a light one, even as a friend, but let alone a mate. It was just such a out there option to consider, and she had no idea what it's outcome would entail.
Maia's glance slid over the three stallions that stood infront of her. You all seem suitable for me. Her eyes paused on the light stallion, before continuing on. Sadly, I have no idea who to chose. So I'll leave you with this, I'm sure a few of you must be fed up with my delay of a choice, so if you'd like to walk away, do so now. She lifted her head and swished her tail. For those who stay, any suggestions as to how I can pick would be nice. Although I think I may have someone in mind, I'd like to see your, creative, sides.

Squeezie lifted his head. There was no way he was leaving. He liked this mare, and didn't want to leave alone, although Scream probably felt the same way. As for Loki? Well, he didn't suppose she would be interested in him. If he was a dark, or even a neutral, the possibility was far greater, than his currant light status. Sadly, I only have one idea, and that is to fight. Somehow, I don't feel that is the best plan. In another situation, maybe, but this is not the time to fight he said, truthfully. Fighting now would probably put the mare off.
For the first time, Loki spoke directly to the mare Go with you gut feeling he said Don't think about any thing else. What you instict tells you to do, is the right answer. It may have sounded a bit soft for a dark horse, but Loki was light, and so thought this way. He choice might just be to walk away, and not choose any of them, to seek another horse. He knew his chances were very low, because of his alliance. If she chose him, one of them would have to change their alliance, and join a different force. If one of them changed to nuetralk, they could join any herd though.

Scream flicked his whipcord back and forth rapidly in thought. He didn't want to leave....Maia was too good a mare to let go. He knew that much of her already. He liked her dark personality that was beginning to seep through. He didn't think she would pick the Light stallion, but he had to be ready for anything.
"The stags right...fighting is always an option. I'm up for that anyday." He flashed a wicked grin and snorted easily. He really didn't mind fighting. He could care less what they had to do to get her.
Scream scoffed inwardly at the Light stallion's words. Go with her gut feeling? What kind of nonsense was that? Did people really do that? His nares widened as he breathed in deeply. His creative juices were beginning to flow. He needed to think of some kind of thing so she could see their creative sides...what to do, what to do?
OOC: muse shortage...

Maia nodded. Well I think I've narrowed it down. She paused, turning her head to Loki. I don't think a light and dark could work out, and I don't want anyone to have to change their alliance for anyone. I know, despite not sharing them, your opinions on why you are a light are important to you. I respect you for that, and I don't want either of us to have to compromise the way we see that. She nodded her head, and turned to the dark stallions. She had shown a softer side just there, and wanted to stop that from happening anymore.
Her eyes darted back and forth between Scream and Squeezie. Now this is hard. You both have things about you I love, and things I hate. This choice is rather hard, but I think I know who I want. She paused, lifting her head. For whoever I don't chose, I will always care for you very much, seeing as this choice is so hard to make. You will always have a place with me. She swished her tail, not sure how to go on.

Scream smirked softly as Maia told Loki that it wouldn't work out between them. He knew she wouldn't go for the Light stag...she was way smarter than that. What really suprised him was that she was having a hard time choosing between him and the other Dark. Although, he didn't seem that Dark to Scream...
He nodded his head at her as she looked back and forth from one to the other, as if saying that it was okay for her to go on. He really wanted her to pick him, but if she chose the other stallion then he wouldn't complain. He just wanted her to make the right decision. His weight transfered from one foot to the next as he waited calmly for her choice.
Would she go for the bad to the bone, reckless at heart Scream? Or the rather wimpish, almost Dark Squeezie? He didn't know, but he would soon find out.
"Whichever one of us you choose, I just want you to be sure in the decision. I don't know about him," He nodded to Squeezie, "But I just want you to be happy." Which in all sincerity was true...he wanted her to be happy with him.

Maia nodded, closed her eyes, gulped down her fear, and spoke. She knew what it was like to have a broken heart, so this was rather hard for her to say. I'm so sorry, but I must pick Scream. Her gaze was on Squeezie, she didn't want to hurt him, he was a good stallion, he deserved the best, which was something Maia couldn't give to him. Something is just telling me to go with him, I don't know why or what it is, I just know that's where I have to be. She glanced over at Scream and raised her bow, which was suppose to say, don't be mean.
Maia felt very soft right now, so she quickly snapped her mouth shut to avoid any other gushy apologize. That wasn't who she was, she had to be herself for a relationship to ever work out.

Scream grinned to himself as Maia spoke. Her words pleased him majorly and smirked to himself. He somehow knew she was gonna pick him but didn't want to get too cocky. He smiled towards the mare and moved to her side eagerly. He nuzzled her neck affectionately, showing her that he would be faithful to her.
He flicked his tail towards the other stallions, warning them to stay away from his mare. He hurt anyone that tried to get to her. His ears swiveled around lightly, waiting for a reply from the other stallions.
He looked to his mate and spoke calmly, "I have no land at the moment, but I am challenging at the moment." Hopefully this wouldn't sway her decision...He nuzzled her again and flicked her softly with his tail, a sense of new love forming in his frosted heart.

Maia smiled at Scream as he nuzzled her. As he spoke of claiming lands, she couldn't hide her excitement. Well any fight for land you take part in, I'll be right along side of you. So what land are you challenging for? She swished her tail, shooing away the flies that were resting on her legs. This was the main thing she hated about summer, the dumb flies. Then of course the heat. She liked the winter, despite being an Arabian. Winter was best, no bugs, the snow, clearly the best season. Fall was okay too, but no comparison to winter.
Maia kept her glance off of Loki and Squeezie, showing that her choice was final. She had to show them that she was serious and this was her final choice, or else she'd have to deal with more drama. Now that she'd made her choice, her darkness was setting back in.

Squeezie pinned his ears back at the stallion. He wasn't even dark. He was a neutral, that liked to call himself dark. The mare was stupid to think that he was dark. He rose on his legs, in a small rear. Squeezie was much, much larger than Scream, at 16.3 hands high. He was large for his breed, and extremely strong. He came to the ground, and pinned his ears back agin. He was telling them quite plainly to leave. He was here first, and he wasn't going to move. If they didn't get out of his way, he would have to force it. His chest was hollow, he had no heart. He snortred, and glared at the other stallion. He would be foolish to stay here.
Loki winced to himself, as the mare chose the other stallion. He knew Squeezie could get pretty angry, and he had never lost a fight in his life. He himself didn't really care who the mare chose, but he knew Squeezie would fight to the death over a mare, and he had as well. There was no question over who had won. He knew though, that if the two horses didn't leave now, they would be in for something. Squeezie showed friendliness to very few horses, Loki was one of those few. He eyed the mare, telling her that it would be a wise move to leave now. It wasn't in a harsh way, more of a friendly warning. He didn't want the mare to get hurt. He took a step back, showing that he wanted to be no part of this.

Maia pinned her ears at Squeezie, baring her teeth. She would fight him if she had to, and she knew she could take him. Despite being smaller then most stallions, Maia had the brains to fight well, rather then to just use size to win. She could out smart most stallions, and she was sure Squeezie would be no different. All stallions thought the same way during fights, it was a basic concept most mares understood. It was also the in they could use to over power any stallion they'd want to.
Maia rolled her eyes and ignored Loki. She didn't need his warning, if anything he should be warning his friend Squeezie to leave. On the surface, Maia was boiling with fury, but deep down she was very happy. This was showing her she had made the best choice for her. She could annoy others very easily, and if Squeezie had that short of a temper, Maia would have killed him only 5 minutes in to any relationship they could have had. Your proving me right Squeezie. She left no other explanation, and turned her head back to Scream.

Scream snorted angrily and pinned his ears back against his skull. His nostrils flared as he took deep breaths. This stallion was picking the wrong guy to mess with. Even though he calls himself neutral, he is really dark. Evil...
His blue roan body reared up to match Squeezie. Even though he wasn't near as tall, his legs thrashed around wildly as a sign of conquer. She had chosen him...not the other stalion. Why couldn't he just accept that?
His daggers pelted the ground as he landly harshly on his hooves. He stood protectively in front of Maia and spat at Squeezie's feet. "Stay away from us." His words dripped with venom as he stared down the other horse. "You don't scare me." He flicked his whipcord back and forth and turned to face his mare. "Come on, Maia. Let's get out of here. I don't want to kill him." He nudged her shoulder and turned on his haunches.
If that stag tried to hurt them, they would take him down. Two against one. Loki didn't seem like he would fight.

Maia narrowed her orbs and glared at Squeezie as she nodded. She turned, following Scream closely. Let's go see our future land. Now that Blazer was going to be neutral king, he'd most likely have to give up his land, and Scream was first in line to get it. That would mean Maia would be a lead mare, ruling beside Scream, right where she was suppose to be. On top.
Maia swished her tail as she trotted away from Loki and Squeezie. She didn't feel bad, she felt no sympathy or remorse. She just felt consumed, by some emotion she'd never felt before. It was good, but weird. Love? Her glance strayed to Scream. She had no clue, it was all new to her. She never felt this way in her life, and she had yet to place a name on the feeling.
