RIOT;
Riot trotted easily through the lands. Her thick pillars eating up the ground beneath her. her nares were filled with the scent of all different horses. Mare and stallions, darks, lights, and neutrals. The prospect of all these different walks of life living so closely together was sort of amazing. Riot had never known a land with anything other then neutrals, and to see all three of these alliances seeming to live along side each other fine, was very eye opening. Maybe the world is changing and we just never noticed. Riot thought to herself.
Riot's legs began to ache slightly. She had been traveling for a long time. She slowed to a halt and glanced around, her robs scanning the world around her. Her audits were perked in curious interest. She could smell that this was where stallions and mares came to find their soul mates. Or in a darks case, there many soul mates. She shrugged at the thought of having loads of mates. She didn't think it was right, nor did she think it was wrong. Darks made their choices, and lights made their own too. Riot just didn't want to live in the cookie cutter shape of those alliances. She preferred to just be herself, which must have fallen under the neutral category.
As Riot waited for something to happen, she decided to call out to the stallions around. She needed a mate before the winter ended, so she had to try to meet some stallions and fast. Oh neutral stallions, please come out to meet me. I need a mate for the approaching spring. Riot shook out her black banner as she spoke.

Murphy walked through the lands that was owned by none. The land was full of mares and stallions alike. They were all lean, and their coats were thin. He felt somewhat out of place with his muscular body, and thick leg feathers. His alliance was as of yet, un-decided. He had blurs, that could call themselves memories, that he just wanted to forget, but they kept coming back, and haunting him. His whole life had been in the hands of men, and his mistress Phillipa. Now he had had enough. he had snapped. All those long years, cooped up in a stable, when he could have been free. He sighed, the wing lifting his long two-tones mane, showing his odd, bi-coloured neck underneath.
A scent reached the stallions nostrils. It was a mare, but unlike any other. He couldn't quite place what it was about her. He followed the sent, until, after a few minutes of searching, he saw her. She was a buckskin and white, with a flowing black mane, and long leg feathers. He stopped, and watched her. He then heard her call out, thaat she needed a stallion. he pricked his ears, and nickered to her.

Riot perked her audits, and her orbs danced to the stallion. She smiled and bobbed her neck at the site of the stallion. He was like her, in his appearance. She seldom saw that kind of horse, so she was always very pleased to see other large horses.
Riot nickered in reply before picking up a brisk trot and coming over to him. She nodded her head once more when she arrived in front of him. Her thick black mane flew as her neck moved. Riot arched her neck and swished her tail, trying to look good in front of the stallion. Hello, they call me Riot. I'm a neutral mare. It's a pleasure to meet you, ummm... Riot stumbled slightly, not knowing what the stallion name was. She waited, hoping he'd reply rather then trot off to find some other mare.

Murphy pricked his auds, as the mare trotted up to him. He had only really socialised with wild horses when serving his mistress, in capturing them. Now it was different. Instead of the hate, and the despiseing comments, he was getting some friendliness, which was a lot better than the kicking, and the fighting. Life as a wild horse was going to be a lot better that his captive one.
He arched his neck more, and tucked in his nose as she stopped in front of him. This was the way most horses at his old stable yard had greeted each other. I am Murphy. It's a pleasure to meet you too. He wanted to get to know this mare. He had spent a lot of time among the wild horses, when he was capturing them, and he had only ever seen one draft horse like himself, and she had not been the kindest of mares, even when he had ditched his mistress.

Riot smiled as he replied to her half question half statement. She was looking forward to getting to know all the horses around in the neutral community. She preferred not to associate with the lights and darks, finding it was a large source of drama. She rather just stick with the others that kept the same belief as her.
Riot nibbled on her lip, trying to concentrate on Murphy's vibe. It came off as a mix of all three, or none in particular. It was so strange. Must be undecided then. Riot thought to herself, unsure of what else to call it. She'd never encountered an undecided horse before. She didn't dare ask, that was much to personal for someone she had only just met. Are you new to this area? I am and I think I'm pretty lost. I'm looking for the neutral terra.

Murphy thought over her question in his head. in a way he was, in that he was now living as a wild horse, rather than taking them from the wild. But he knew these lands inside out. He knew all the best hiding places, all the secret roughts, so in a way, he wasn't new at all. I suppose you could say that he said, not mentioning anything about his captive life, as he did not want to put her off. He knew some horses didn't like horses that even took a step near a human.
He thought about all the neutral terras. Did she mean the royal terra? He knew where that was, as he had passed through it many times, though not going near any other horses. Do you mean the Royal Terra? I can show you there if you like he said. He himself needed a herd. he didn't care about leading, he just wanted to settle down, and enjoy life, not needing to worry about looking after a herd.

Riot smiled but shook her head. It was a very nice offer, but she had already found the land she had been looking for. Don't worry about it. I've found the royal neutrals. I'm actually in the middle of applying to be their Countess. Riot shook her head her black mane flowing around. She was nervous for the royals reply to her request. She was rather jittery at the moment. It was a mix of excited anticipation, and nervous negativity. That was rather strange for her, seeing as was generally a very positive and optimistic horse. She thought it had gone well, and didn't see any reason for them not to accept her request, but then again you never know. Anything could happen, and it was just a matter of waiting and seeing what would come.
