GUARDIAN
The sound of wind rushing through the willows brought his bearded face to the sky, his silky white ears perked in interest. Grass hung limply from the side of his mouth, fluttering as a gust swirled around his convex face. He looked stately and impressive, his broad chest and long, muscular legs standing erect. He was a creamy white, right down to his feathers which trailed from the back of his thick legs. Perhaps he descended from a draft of sorts, considering his roman nose and hefty bones.
But his expression was gentle, his soft amber eyes glinting in the intense rays of the setting sun. The long grasses lapped at his belly, his impressive frame an iceberg amongst a rolling sea of gold. His rosy lips curled into a smile, and he ground the rest of the grass into nothingness.
He returned to his grazing, his eyes heavily lidded, for he was tired - last night had brought him little sleep, and the surrounding peace made him blissfully drowsy. The caressing tendrils of wind, wrapped around his face, pulling at his exhaustion with each gust. But he was also hungry, and he tore at the swaying stalks with a purpose, his pale brows drawing as he chewed and thought of his journey here, and he worried about the wranglers which had been spotted around. His watch was on.
With a great sigh he drug his himself with weighted feet to the nearest shelter of a massive oak tree, and lowered himself with a great thud, his massive carcass falling to the earth. The night would be more peaceful than the last, and the sun rose with his chest rising and falling peacefully.

Velvet kissers turned upwards into a smirk as the cremello femme moved silently through the extremely tall grass that rubbed softly against her bodice. Her icy blue eyes scanned the scene calmly and she snorted confidently. She had just escaped the human's wrath and nothing could stop her now.
The goddess' hooves softly pelted the earth below as she picked up her pace to an easy lope. This was what freedom felt like...
I'll spread my wings and I'll learn how to fly I'll do what it takes till I touch the sky I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change and Break away...
Her banner flitted in the wind like tassles of string as she ran. Her blood pumped and her heart soared. This was how she was supposed to be.
The fae suddenly came to a halt....She could smell a stag. Her dials flicked curiously and she followed the scent eagerly. She could see a lone stallion in the distance. He looked like he was laying down...The cremello beauty jogged silently towards the massive brute and called out boldly, "Hello!"

Softly, a thrumming of hooves danced through his subconscious, pulsing like a heart, growing ever louder, more intense, and when a sharp greeting was issue, he emerged from his sleep, head thrown up and body scrambling to find its balance. He shook his pearly coat, sending a thin haze of dark power showering from it. He remembered the beating, and he surveyed the land around him, his big brown eyes resting on a white mare, a dove, a beauty. She shared his pink skin but her eyes were crystalline blue, while his were an earthy amber. He smiled gently, body visibly relaxing, and warming to the stranger. She offered a greeting, and he returned,
"Good morning to you, as well." he chimed in a pleasant baritone, his deep voice resounding in the lazy summer air. "Gabriel, if you please." he added, nodding slightly.
The wind played with his forelock, twisting it up into the air like flames, licking the sky with white-hot tendrils. He stood quite a bit taller than her, and he looked down wit pleasant eyes that sparkled like quartz. The sun broke over the stand of trees, casting a golden glow over his coat once again.

The seemingly beautiful femme pranced as if she owned the place towards the stallion. Her banner danced behind her, making her look royal. Her ocean blue pools studied the stag carefully. There pelts were similar, but his amber eyes caught hers immediately. The contrast between the two were amazing. Ice and amber...
I'm hot... You're cold... You go around like you know Who I am But you don't You got me on my toes
The fae came to a halt near the stud and shook her head, dislodging her forelock. Her cremello rays danced as she moved. Her eyes bore wordlessly on the stallion as he spoke. "Gabriel, eh? Pleasure to meet you," Her lyrics were glazed with honey, "They call me Perfect Image...Image if you will."
Image blinked once and looked around her calmly. The air was cool, perfect day for meeting new people. She shifted her weight slightly before speaking again. "What brings you here, Gabriel?" His name rolled off her tongue like liquid. He seemed like a nice fellow...you never know, though. She seems like a nice gal...
A slight breeze picked up as they stood, sending chills down Image's spine. She shook her body and flicked her tail noislessly. This should be interesting.

His thick draft-like body shifted from one foot to another, ears pricked, nostrils flaring as he took in her scent. She was a vision, alright, but he was less than interested in lust at first sight. A warm smile crossed his lips as she spoke in honeyed tones, and he responded with a deep, rich voice that resounded with thunderous air.
"Pleased as punch, m'lady." he lilted.
Her next question spun him deep into thought, and he worried his lip freverantly between his teeth as he pondered. To be truthful, he'd come here because there hadn't been anywhere else to go. He was fairly aimless at the present. A meandering mind like his needed something to be occupied with at all times, and when nothing was left, his physical body often followed his mind out, and he was off.
His golden eyes searched her frame now, taking in the plains of her back and the rustling of her mane in the gusts. He was hesitant to look into those cutting blue eyes for fear that he may never look away. The long feathering that gathered around his ankles danced in the wind.
He answered slowly, carefully choosing his words. "I'm here because once I leave my mark, make a certain place a bit better, I leave. I think this might be my long term home, however. Time will tell."
He nodded with definence, his noble roman nose defining his shapely features. His skin switched violently as a mosquito alrighted on him. The sun rose higher into the great glass dome, and Gabriel smiled as the world came to life once again.

Image's mane flickered softly around her face as a breeze picked up. She shook her cranium, trying to dislodge a piece of the course hair that had made its way into her nostril. She snorted boredly and looked around curiously. She smiled at his choice of words. Pleased as punch? She would get along well with this fellow.
Image watched as Gabriel thought. He looked so focused as he stood there, she thought for a moment that he didn't here her question. She flicked her tail, trying to catch his attention.
"Agh...so you are some kind of peacemaker. Very interesting indeed, Gabriel. Why might this be your long term home? Something about these lands strike you fancy?" Her lyrics were glazed with sweetness as she stared into his golden eyes.
Image's icy blue eyes scanned her surroundings intently. Snow was beginning to fall and she could easily blend in with the fluffy precipitation. This was her favorite season of all.
