Name: Rory Calder
Age: 19
Gender: Male
Personality: Rory is always on a calm, even keel with horses, if not with other people. He's highly intelligent, and had a good school education before now. He's social, but doesn't make a lot of close friends, and prefers the company of his own thoughts to most people. Ignorance bothers him to a rage, and anyone who has ever abused or neglected their horses or children with feel the sting of his tongue. He's seen so many horses ruined by ignorant BLM managers and mustang adopters that he tends to believe that only certain people should be qualified to deal with them.
Rory is highly active, and doesn't mind following a trail for days and days before coming upon a herd. He believes in a gentler approach to horses, not a command but a steady partnership. Thus, he is strangely Native American-esque in his training and style. He does have a rather stubborn streak, but he knows exactly how much any horse can handle of his company in a day.
Reason for joining Wranglers: Rory used to live in an area where the Bureau of Land Management corralled wild horses to 'thin' the bloodlines. Many horses were emaciated, uncared for, and basically left to rot or killed on their 'adoption' farms. He wants to show that even a horse with no bloodlines can be great, and he'll do anything to show it. Wrangling is not really his thing, but if he can find just one horse that takes fancy to him he will do anything to make them great.
