Patron did fairly well today. He jumped right on cue and responded to the lightest touch of a boot or reign. He was in an agreeable mood and seemed to listen quite intently to what his rider was saying. Near the end however, he bucked twice. Though no one is quite sure what caused the disruption. Minutes after the training session, he calmed right down, not seeming like he had ever been scared.
Patron gained +1 in Maturity
Wow, Duke really ate of the track today. His legs were a blur, as they carried his body over the assigned furlongs. He seemed to trust his rider, and obeyed more willingly to what was required of him. He did try to get more reign so that he could go faster, several times. Though, that is quite expected when someone is riding a racehorse. He didn't get to hot and it didn't take long for his heart rate to return to normal.
