Gwen strode into the shop in spotless dark brown riding breeches. A white blouse with chocolate colored flowers flecked into it was open on the top two buttons to allow some breathing room, and her shined paddock boots and half-chaps elongated her legs. Overall, she looked pretty stunning, her straight hair pulled back in a plain way. Some how this girl was able to be completely plain and be beautiful at the same time. Or so she thought.
In the city, all the boys wanted her, but here.. there seemed to be an abundance of pretty plain horse-loving girls. Since looks didn't work here, Gwen resorted to her charm.
Sliding into one of the booths, her steel-blue nails tapped on the table-top, A waitress hurried over. "What can I get you?" She hurriedly asked, looking slightly nervous as Gwen's attention was turned towards her.
"A tall Peppermint Latte please." Gwen replied, her words richly and drawled from her lips. As she waited for her drink, a tall guy who was slightly younger than herself walked in. Gwen raised her eyebrows in interest.

Jakob Dare Jake walked into the coffee shop, the usual smirk covering his lips as his eyes remained nearly expressionless. His gaze swept the entire building, searching for someone that was quite possibly worth his time. This small town was a bore so far, except for the one day at the beach. He grinned inwardly, before resuming his search. With a satisfied look on his face his eyes landed on a pretty blonde girl, already looking at him. He flashed her a cocky smile. He wasn't one to beat around the bush.
Her appearances were more dulled down, and she wasn't really flaunting her looks, but he could still tell that the girl was pretty. She might have been a little older than him, but he wasn't really focused on age. He was bored, the girl was good looking, what more did he need?
With his usual confidence, he walked over to where she stood. Just beside the counter where you could order a drink. He winked at her, a grin covering his lips as he turned his eyes to the person working at the shop. "Black coffee, please." His words exited his lips before turning back to the girl, leaning against the counter casually. "My boring day just brightened." He said with a grin. "I'm Jake, and you are?"

Her waitress hurried back and placed the latte on the counter, collecting Gwen's money and walking away. "Thank you." She said, smiling sweetly and quickly turning her attention to the guy who had been walking through the door. She was pleasantly surprised that he had come down to sit by her.
"I'm Gwen." She replied, a perfect smile appearing on her face. Really, as hard as she tried, she always appeared somewhat innocent. Her eyes light and glittering, and her cheeks rosy, she looked younger than she was, almost like a teenager.
"Ah, a day with me is never boring, Jake." She spoke confidently, a devilish smile on her face. This boy would be fun to play around with. She pulled her hair out of the elastic and shook it free of it's bounds so that it framed her face. "So, would you like to do something today, maybe go dancing?" She hinted, raising one eyebrow and leaning slightly towards him.

Jakob Dare Jake followed her from the counter to the table. Settling into the chair, not really worrying about getting invited. She seemed like she didn't mind. Usually girls who minded would've been glaring by now, which hadn't happened to often. Besides, he won them all over eventually. Jake had yet to meet one girl who wouldn't fall for him. Or even just flirt with him. He grinned, throwing her a wink as she introduced herself. "A lovely name" He leaned back in his chair, regarding her with a calm, charming smile on his lips.
"Trust me, I've already figured that out, love." His english accent coming through strongly. He wanted to see how she would react to an accent, usually he suppressed it, but he was curious what she would do. He raised his coffee to his lips, taking a drink before setting it back down, his brown eyes studying her. Her blonde hair now framed her face, she had to be older than him, yet he could almost say that she looked seventeen or so.
A lopsided grin appeared on his face at her open suggestion. This was easier than he expected. When he had come to town all he had seen was the country gals who weren't really interested in dating. To tell the truth, it was driving him nuts. "Dancing sounds like a fine idea. I'm sure your dancing is as beautiful as you." He threw the last line in for good measure.
