Name: Dakota Fae Laney
Nicknames?: Fae, Kota
Age: 15
Gender: Female
Physical Description:
Weight: 115 lbs
Height: 5"3
Personality:
Unlike her brother, she isn't that dramatic of a person. She's assumed to be shy and unable to speak her mind. But in truth, she just doesn't like large crowds. If you're alone with her, she'll talk a whole lot more than you might want her to. She's stubborn and has a mind of her own. If she believes something, you're not likely going to be able to change her mind. She hates to let people see her cry, and generally won't. If she's hurting, she'll shrug it off or snap at you to mind your own business. She keep personal matters to herself, except from her brother, she tells him practically everything.
She's generally a nice person, but if someone provokes her, she'll go at them. She won't take cruel or rude behavior, and doesn't have an issue with physically fighting some one. Despite her smaller size, she can hold her own. Using her size to her advantage, she's light and quick on her feet, even if she doesn't have the power to back her up.
Self control is practically non-existent with this girl. If she wants to do something, she'll do it, don't even think of standing in her way. Anyone with no backbone gets on her nerves and she can't stand to be around them. She's happy whenever she's around horses, and her face easily portrays whatever emotion she feels. Kota can't lie to save her life. It's to obvious.
Chipping her nail, or getting extremely dirty is something that happens regularly for her. She may have grown up in the city. But she's definitely not some typical city girl. She's a tomboy to the core, nothing in the world will get her to wear a dress. She doesn't care if it's a wedding, she's going in slacks, if it's something like an outing with friends, ripped up jeans it is. Dates? She's gong in jeans, not that she's ever been on a date. One guy asked her, her brother Marc beat him up, lets just say, no one asked her out again.
Cleaning is another thing she doesn't do. Her room is a mess, and always has been, and she doesn't worry about picking things up. If you come over, she's not the least bit embarrassed by her room. She's who she is, no pretenses or facades. Don't like it, get over it.
Like her brother, she can surf, seeing as he taught her how, and she can be considered a skater girl. But none of those two things are her passion.
History:
Dakota was born April 8th in Seattle. His family had lived there for a long while, so Seattle had everything. Friends, Family, and lots of places to go have fun and hangout.
She loved the place to death, and couldn't think of any other place she would rather live. She enjoyed life to the fullest she could at her age, but her parents split up when she was only 6. After a custody battle, both her and her brother went with thier mother, who left and went to New York.
Kota loved everthing about having to live in New York. Despite the fact that she was mad at her parents for divorcing. Through this entire time, her brother was her main supporter. He was always there for her, holding her when she cried. Whispering uplifting words, and telling her that he'd never leave her. Perhaps the only reason she made it through was because of her brother.
She went to school there, still missing her old friends, but it didn't take long until she made new friends. Even though she had friends, she still felt like she didn't fit in very well. Till she found a horse stable nearby. They had enough money, and she was allowed to take riding lessons. Horses made her happy, even when she was depressed. She took western riding, and english riding, not a natural, but she was fairly good by the time she was forced to stop taking lessons.
After another fight, her dad got partial custody over them, and both she and her brother chose to move in with him. He lived in LA, and decided to send them to one of the more expensive private schools, one with a good reputation. It didn't work out, so her brother switched to internet schooling to finish highschool, moving to Nevada hoping to learn a thing or two about horses, having wanted to for awhile. Kota toyed with the idea of joining him, knowing he gave her an open invitation. Finally, she hopped on a plane and came down.
