;; The way that Axel tilted his head seemed like more of a puppy-dog than a confused one, and at that, Ana had to smile. It was funny, for she had never seen a guy do that before. Well, to try for the puppy look anyway, many had done it out of confusion. So, to sum everything up... Ana had just met this person on the street, maybe ten minutes ago, and already, they were setting up a date. Lovely. "Anytime really," Ana said, wondering if Axel had a pen or not. There was a scrap of paper, half of a sticky-note to be more exact, in her pocket to write her number on. After Axel spoke again, Ana turned to thinking for a moment, wondering in what meaning his words were to be taken, but she shrugged it off. "Have a phone, or a pen?" she asked, the smile still on her face.
;; That's okay. D: Mine are being short too.

Axel smiled, taking out of his side bag, his box of pencils and pens. He then opened it. You can see that he was an artist just by how his pencils looked, plus, the pens looked pretty good too. He handed over the pen, watching her quietly. "And I just moved here, I plan on owning race horses..." He said, smiling as he watched her. "I zink I have enough money left over from my art sales and my last few races to buy a ranch and a horse or two..." He said, grinning, heh, cute.

;; As Axel rummaged through his bags, she caught the look of the artist pens, pencils, and notebooks, quite curious as to what his drawings were. "Ah, thanks," she said, taking the pen lightly and fishing the half-of-post-it-note out of her pocket. She wrote down her number quickly, 775-999-0262, and handed him back both the pen and paper, smiling. "Race horses, huh?" she asked, her eyes shining. "Well... you could just come work at a ranch that specializes in racing, couldn't you?" she asked, pulling one side of her jacket an inch or so closer as the wind licked at her front. "I do happen to own one." she finished, the smile now reaching into her eyes. It was always great to have more people working around the ranch, and hopefully now that the hiring sign was up, people would start noticing it.

He grinned, taking the paper and pen back. "OK, but, um I already have an estate ready to be bought...? Perhaps I could vork part time?" He asked, smiling down at her. "Perhaps I could be... a jockey?" He asked, then noticed her eyeing his art supplies. "Did you vant to see? My artvork?" he asked, smiling at her. He then took out a couple of sketchpads, handing them to her. "Have a look zrough zem." He said, motioning to a bench as he walked over to it, hoping that she would follow.

;; Ana made her face into a short pout, and then brightened up again, for none had really wanted the position of a jockey, as far as she knew, anyway. "That would be perfect!" she exclaimed, and then nodded to his question about seeing his art. She was indeed very curious, as she had completely dismissed any bad feelings about Axel. He seemed extremely nice, and apparently was an artist. She took the few sketchpads gingerly, and followed him towards the bench, where she promptly sat down and started to look through them. They were extremely well-done. "Wow." she said, flipping back through the first couple of pages again. "These are really good, how long have you been drawing?" Ana asked curiously, still flipping through the first book. She was honestly intrigued, and they were fantastic.

"Great." He said with her agreement to him being a jockey. "Zank you, I have been drawing Since I vas quite young..." He said, sitting on the bench and listening to her comments. He then smiled widely, looking over her shoulder at his artwork, he had to admit they were very good, as she had said. ((Gah... sorry for the super-shortness... ))

;; "Oh," she said, simply acknowleding that she had heard him. As it may, she was entirely engrossed in his drawings at the moment, taking her time to look at each one individually. She had to stifle a chuckle at one that looked recently drawn, one with two women, and a man. One woman seemed determined to eat the guy's ear, while the other was kissing him on the lips. There, the first one was finished, and she picked up another one sitting on her lap. They were all as good as the first, and all as good as the one before. How could he possibly have so much talent? They were amazing! "Are you self-taught?" she asked curiously, looking back at him for a moment before her eyes were swept back to the drawings.
;; No biggie. x]
