Skye is basically a typical scene teenage girl with an emo style. Her hair is long and black and the ends are razored, giving her a more jagged and daring look. She's got multiple layers in her hair as well, which leaves it thinner at the ends and thicker at the top. She occasionally dyes her hair a medium brown shade, since that is her original color. She has straight white teeth and big, stunning blue eyes. She tends to make them even more noticable by wearing a lot of eyeliner and mascara, too. Her frame is thin and she's average height. She's rather curvy, as well. She normally wears clothing items such as brightly colored mini-skirts and tube tops, but sometimes she prefers to just put on jeans and a cute shirt. She likes converse as well, in multiple shades and designs.

Skye is very outgoing, and she loves to exercise and run. She is very social, though few people actually become close to her, and she loves to talk. Skye is usually pretty hyper as well, and it's sometimes because she's had too much caffeine in a soda or energy drink, but she's normally just bouncing off the walls anyways. Skye enjoys chatting with people, but usually she never sees those people often. With people she sees a lot, Skye is very cautious who she talks to and what she says. One of her fears is being judged, and there are a lot of judgemental people out there. She pretends like she doesn't care, but it hurts her inside when she confides to someone who she really is and they leave. - ``Depressed
Skye puts on a mask everyday and pretends to be happy and cheerful, but she's not inside. She needs someone she can confess to who will help her with her problems. She can't seem to forget about her horrible past, and because of that she smokes, drinks, and does drugs. She knows that it's bad and she doesn't want to do anything like that. She just can't stop, and it scares her. She wants someone to help her become herself again. When she's sad she goes into complete shutdown mode, too. She refuses to talk to anyone or smile or eat. Skye is a very complex person. She is hard to figure out, and you can't ever really tell what bothers her or what scares her or what makes her happy unless you really know her well. She gets frustrated with people easily, and is very impatient. Anger floods her memories, and she cries herself to sleep. She hates sympathy, because she doesn't want anyone crying over her or greiving over her past. She doesn't want to drag anyone down with her, so she's confidential about her past and it takes a lot to earn her trust. - ``Frightened
The things that scare Skye are the things that don't bother other people usually, because they haven't experienced all that she has. She is terrified of the thought of seeing her parents again once they are released out of jail, and everytime she sees a happy family she cries or cringes away. She hates crying in public, and she's scared of never being understood. She has never met someone who knows what it's like to be abused and abandoned and neglected and hurt inside. She doesn't want to be alone forever. She doesn't want to die young either, and her addictions scare her to death. - ``Romantic
One of Skye's biggest goals in life is to fall in love, but it takes a while to win over her heart, because she is scared once again of falling in love with the wrong person, like her mother. She doesn't want to make that mistake, she wants to be nothing like her mom. Skye is a big romantic though, she loves walks at sunset and cuddling and holding hands and sweet kisses. She has never really fallen in love before, though she's had crushes. No one has ever made her heart sing before. Skye hopes that the day will come when she knows her decision will be right. She wants to fall in love and be happy with someone who understands her and can handle her.
History:
Have you ever heard of one of those tales about unwanted teenage pregnancy? Yeah, that's basically what happened to Skye's mother. Sydney Lyons had been dating Brandon Powers, and one day their lives changed utterly and completely. Sydney started throwing up and Brandon took her to a hospital, and they found out that Syndey was pregnant with a little baby girl. Syndey was terrifyed and started crying and screaming and went into complete depression. She was even more distressed when Brandon decided she was too much to handle and left her alone, and walked out the door.
On July fourteenth, Sydney gave birth to a beautiful little baby girl with sweet dimples and bright green eyes. She named her Skye Isabelle Lyons, and although she was in tears and tearing herself apart, Sydney loved her little baby, but only for a moment. Before she knew it, Brandon appeared out of nowhere and tried to become part of Sydney and Skye's life again. Sydney was absolutely furious and refused to let him anywhere near Skye, ordering the nurses to take him away. Brandon knocked out the nurses and locked the door behind him, approaching Sydney with a gun. Somehow Skye remembers this, though she was only a few hours old. It still haunts her today. Sydney was torn apart, and handed over the baby after Brandon threatened to kill her and the baby both if he didn't get to see his daughter.
Skye grew up in custody of both her mother and father, who lived far apart in different houses and neighborhoods. They hated each other. Ever since Skye turned three, Brandon abused her whenever she was at his house. He would beat her and starve her and lock her in the basement during the days. Everynight when Brandon came home he would be drunk and he would beat Skye more. Brandon never liked Skye, he hated her and called her a mistake unfit for this world. He didn't want her anywhere near him and he took his frustration out on her because she reminded him of Sydney.
When Skye returned to her mother's house, Sydney would sob when she saw her child hurt, but she wouldn't do anything about it. She was scared of Brandon, and wouldn't even try to save Skye. She didn't call the police or child center or anyone. She lived in fear, and tried to stay away from Skye because she reminded her too much of Brandon.
When Skye Isabelle Lyons was eight years old, a large group of child security men burst into Brandon's house and took her away from her wretched father and hopeless mother. They put her up for adoption at the child care center, but nobody wanted her. She was too hard to handle. She was frustrated and angry and hurt and anguished. She had bad memories and nothing more to think about. She was dying inside, and she needed to escape her past life. The day that Skye knew it was safe to leave was when she heard on the news that Brandon and Syndey were both charged and put in jail. Brandon for child abuse, neglect, drug use, and many other things. Sydney for drug use, neglect, and not reporting to the authorities. That was when Skye also found out that Sydney had another child named Lacey that was living with her new boyfriend, Lucas Claymont.
Skye snuck out of the child care center at night and wandered down the streets. She fell asleep on the doorstep of a house and awoke the next morning inside of a house. It belonged to the Whitel and Austins families. Skye grew up with Destiny Whitel and Jake Austins for the rest of her life until she turned seventeen, and moved here to Miami by herself. She faked her driver's license and said that she was eighteen so that she could live by herself and come here alone. She wants to start over now, but she needs some help if anything is ever going to change.
