Personality: Tamber has the fire and high mettle of all Arabians, and is stubborn to his last inch when he has made up his mind on something. He enjoys the company of others, even though he has found it so little in his life. He is rather indecisive, but he tends to make friends with others due to his basically good nature. He can be a fearsome foe, however, and will seek revenge relentlessly upon those who do him wrong.
His life has been harsh, and if he has learned one thing it is that the world is a dangerous place and that everything is out to get him. Consequentially, he is a bit wary of others and especially other stallions.
History: Tamber was born to a rather malicious mare who viewed him as a burden rather than a blessing. She promptly rejected him, and he would have died or been killed had not another dark mare come to his aid, goaded by the death of her own young colt. Tamber was no replacement for the lost colt, only an instrument to drain the mare's heavy milk, and thus he was never taken very great care of. He became self-dependent, and shut off from the others in the herd.
When he was four months old a great fire raged on the land and killed his surrogate mother. Tamber was not weaned at the time, and had a very hard time of it before learning to eat grass. He was sickly for several weeks and on the verge of death, but he overcame it by a stroke of luck and since has been wandering alone, still weak from illness.
He has finally found a land of his own, the Golden Prairie, and is now trying his best to keep it.
