Name: Zafirah
Age: Six
Gender: Mare
Breed: Gypsy Vanner
Height: 14.3 hands
Owner and Rider: Riley Lynn Camden
Color:
Mostly white, with black markings on her face and ears, on the back of her right foreleg, and two black spots on her barrel and hindquarters. Her mane is white-blonde, and her tail is white-blonde and black.
Personality:
Zafirah is very docile and calm, and gets along with almost all humans. She loves other horses too. She shies away from loud noises and other animals. She's sweet as can be, but she does tend to get a little excited on trail rides and open areas, and is liable to misbehave. She's perfect in arenas and fenced in enclosures. Firah is an excellent jumper as well, and glides over obstacles easily, with grace. She's light on her feet even though she has a larger build. She adores her owner. Firah is good-natured, but when another creature bites her or acts vicious, she shows her temper. She is only tempermental on rare occasions, when she feels the need to use self-defense or protect someone else. She is usually great with children unless she's being moody, but she tends to be a little antsy when she has other riders.
History:
Zafirah was the offspring of a mare that Riley used to ride and take lessons with. When she was born, Riley helped with the delivery and was heartbroken when the mare somehow refused to nurse her foal. Firah was diagnosed with an illness and she was weak as a filly, but Riley handfed her by bottle and spent countless nights sleeping in her stall. As she gradually recovered, Riley began training her and eventually was the first person to ride her and break her. Now the two are practically inseperable. Firah always canters up to the pasture gate when she sees Riley in the morning, and they support each other. Their bond is heartwarming.
