;; The sun had long since sunken underneath the rolling waves, and the bright silver moon hung from an invisible thread, surrounded by the black velvet night, alight with the pinpricks of stars. A girl stared up at the sky, pretty much standing in one spot, though every now and then she swayed slightly, as if losing her balance from staring up into the star-lit sky. She was garbed in nothing more than short jean shorts, and a red tank-top. Her red-gold hair shone in the moonlight as it hung free, but no shoes clothed her feet. They were free to feel the sand, and the red flip flops were thrown under the dock. She didn't really mind if they got stolen, they weren't special or anything. A simple, yet thick, silver Tiffany necklace hung around her neck, after she found it stuffed in the bottom of her suitcase.
;; The waves continued to roll across the wet sand, creating a soft and continuous rhythm of sound to keep the silence away. A smile was planted firmly on her face, as if all her problems, and the world's problems, melted away into the black night. Axel and Skye were coming to the beach soon, and Akira pulled a black phone out of her pocket, opening it, so the bright light of the screen showed her the time. It was exactly 10:07. Scratch that. 10:08. Akira pushed the phone back into her pocket and started walking, enjoying the cool of the finely ground sand beneath her feet and inbetween her toes. Could it get any better than this? The cool breeze, and the cold night air, walking through the sand, on a peaceful night.

Skye smiled as she strolled along the beach happily, taking a deep breath and allowing herself to relax and unwind for the first time since she had gotten into an argument with Jakob at the hospital. This was mostly due to the fact that Axel was beside her, and he always comforted her. She preferred not to think about Jake finding out that she was pregnant, because his pained look came to mind and made her shiver. Either that or the slight ocean breeze which ruffled her bright yellow strapless dress. The blue bikini underneath wasn't much protection against the cold either. She smirked, her dress made her stand out against the sky, which meant that it was effective. She reached out and took Axel's hand, sidestepping a little so that she walked closer to him and became warmer. She raised up on her tiptoes in her black flats and kissed his cheek, giggling. It was absolutely beautiful outside. The waves rolled gently onto the shore and then retreated back into the massive body of water which stretched into the night beyond the eye's sight before being swallowed into the darkness. A perfect full moon cast it's ghostly silver shadow across the sea, which was also illuminated by the tiny lights of stars twinkling above. She spun in a circle, swinging Axel around with her before pulling him into an embrace. Laughing, her eyes sparkled mischeviously. She was always fun to be around and cheerful in the later hours of the evening.
Skye bounded forwards, scanning the terrain for some shape to appear on the sand. She and Axel had agreed to meet Akira somewhere along this beach. Everything was perfect right now. She was with who she loved the most in the world, going to see her best female friend at her favorite place. And it happened to be her favorite time of day as well. "The view from here is breathtaking" she spoke quietly as if she were afraid she would break the serenity of the moment. It might sound strange to say since it was nearly pitch black, but the dark waters were haunting. "And I get to spend the evening with you" she grinned. She had a feeling that tonight would be different, like it held some secret or new adventure waiting to be discovered or explored. She was enchanted. Skye then spotted Akira and jogged over excitedly. "Aki!" she called out. She smiled and rolled her eyes playfully when she saw that she wasn't dressed warmly either. "Aren't you cold?" she laughed. Skye then suddenly decided she wanted to take a dip. "Anyone is welcome to come" she said brightly, slipping off her flats and tugging off the dress, leaving them in a pile on the sand. She dove and dissapeared under the water, resurfacing to splash Axel and Akira playfully. "The water's warm" she announced cheerfully, swimming around and tumbling underwater.

Axel grinned, watching Skye splash in the water. Truth be told, he was quite content to just relax on a flat rock and watch the stars, but, Skye wanted to play in the water, so, what was stopping him? He slipped out of his jacket and his white button-up shirt, leaving the undershirt, then his pants, but left his boxers on, of course, and stepped into the water. He dove under the surface, swimming around Skye for a few seconds before slowly coming up behind her, wrapping his arms around her waist, and gently kissed her neck and the spot between her neck and shoulder. He then nuzzled her neck gently, running his hand down her side. He now realized their height difference, but didn't mind: there was an eight inch difference in their heights. He was 6'1, she was 5'5. Hmm, how could this get any stranger? He didn't mind though, as he gently licked her ear in a slight romantic burst of optimism, then chuckled slightly, as he ran his fingers along her spine.

Jakob & Dare Jake glared over at his sister, arms crossed over his chest. "You have to go back!" He yelled in frustration. Likewise, his sister stood just opposite of him, arms on her hips, anger clearly evident on her face. "I'm not going to go back so that mom can continue ordering me around for the rest of my life!" She replied, her voice also raised, thin eyebrows arched threateningly. "You're only 19 Dare!" He retorted. "And you were 19 when you left home!" She replied haughtily. "But I'm a guy!" He replied without thinking. Dare's eyes widened in disbelief. "I knew you were a stupid womanizing jerk, but I had no idea you were sexist!" She yelled, anger back once again in full force. Er... I-I-I'm not.. I just.... I just didn't think, Dare..." He stated glumly, looking genuinely sorry. Dare's expressions softened. "Hey, it's cool Coaly." She replied with a smirk. Jake's head jerked up and his eyes narrowed. "How many times do I have to tell you to stop calling me that?" He asked irritated. "Till we're both dead, bro." She said in a sing song voice. "Well then, how morbid..." He muttered. Dare just grinned at him.
"Lets go to the beach!" She exclaimed suddenly. "No...." Jake groaned, drawing out the 'o'. She raised an eyebrow at him smirking. "C'mon Coal" She whined, batting her eyelashes and clasping her hands, making sure to give him big puppy dog eyes. "Fine..." He mumbled in annoyance, stalking out of the hotel room with a huff. His sister followed willingly with a grin. In a small amount of time they arrived at the beach. Dare ran a hand, twirling around and throwing her arms out. Jake just stared, shaking his head as he watched his sister go round and round. She was dressed fine for the beach, wearing a simple white tank top that had the words "Take my advice. I don't use it anyway" printed on the front in black. Her legs were clad in light denim jeans with a rip in both knees, and skater shoes completing her outfit. Her blonde hair was a blue, as it whipped out around her face as she spun. "Dare!" He shouted in exasperation. She stopped and turned to grin at him, tipping a little to one side before crumpling down. Jake chuckled, only she would spin till she fell down because of being so dizzy. At least, he hadn't met anyone else who would do that. He walked over and helped her up, supporting her, with his arm wrapped around her shoulder.
"Hey bro?" He answered with a non-commital 'hmm?'. "Who are those people?" At her question, Jake froze. He saw the group. And he easily recognized them. Axel and Skye, and a girl he didn't believe he'd met in person. He didn't want to go forward, but it wasn't soon before Dare recognized Skye. She jumped up and down on the balls of her feet, before running towards Skye. She grinned at her friend swam in the ocean with a guy, who obviously was her boyfriend. "Yo Skye! Who's your hottie?" She asked laughing. Dare, despite what people might think, didn't talk about guys at all. She just liked to joke around, and it was entertaining to poke fun at the guy, who seemed to be fairly shy around new comers. Jake walked up slowly, slightly camouflaged because of his dark blue shirt and black jeans.

;; Akira checked the clock on her phone once more, the brightness in the dark of night lighting up her face, but even with the critical lighting she was still quite beautiful. She turned her head in the direction that seemed to come from the ranch, which was quite a ways away, but she thought Skye and Axel would come from that way, and she was right. Two shilloueted figures blended quite well into the darkness, but Akira grinned happily, especially when one detached itself from the darkness and came running. "Skye!" she called back, still finding the nickname quite funny. It sounded like, aaack, yucki. She smiled happily when she commented about being cold, well, more specifically, asked. "Yah... though who wants to wear warm clothes to the beach?" she said, rubbing her arm where the small goosebumps still stayed. "Besides, the air coming off the water is quite warm," she mentioned, smiling. Akira shook her head slightly, "Nyah, I'm good for the moment," she said, pulling out a small waterproof case for her phone, putting the phone into the case, and dropping it onto the sand after Skye had run into the water.
;; 'Just in case she decides to get me w-' Akira thought, and then, the water met her skin, and she gasped slightly, glaring playfull at Skye. It wasn't cold, it was just somewhat of a shock, even though anyone could've guessed it was coming. She had a bathing suit on underneath her clothes, in case Skye decided to drag her into the water, but Akira sat down on the sand, legs pulled up tightly to her chest, watching for a moment. She rolled her eyes playfull as Axel displayed public displays of affection, grabbed a clod of wet sand in her hand and chucked it at him, although she knew it wouldn't have any effect. Besdies, it would most likely come apart before it even got that far. She stuck her tongue out at Skye and Axel in the water, looking out across the horizon at the moonlight flittering across the moving waves. How wonderful, and beautiful it was. Her hazel eyes turned towards the voices that appeared out of the gloom, but she couldn't see any figure shapes until one started running towards Skye and Axel, and then at the girl's comment, Akira gave a short laugh, a pensive smile on her face.

Skye grinned as she spotted Akira and called out to her, her smile widening when her friend called back. She remembered carefully that Aki didn't enjoy embraces or touching of any kind really, so she refrained from hugging her, just to be nice. That was pretty funny to think about, since it was considered to be kind to actually hug a person, usually. She laughed and nodded when Akira asked who wanted to wear warm clothes to the beach. "You have a point. And not me, apparently" she smiled, taking off her outer clothes and shoes before jumping into the ocean. "If the air coming off of the water is warm, wouldn't you assume that it might actually be warmer if you got in the water?" she rolled her eyes, teasing. She splashed Axel and Akira and grinned as Akira glared at her playfully. She stuck out her tounge and smirked in response. Beaming back at Axel as he stood on the shore she drifted along the surface of the water on her back, floating. She looked happy and excited when Axel got into the water with her and she straightened up, standing. She watched the water for signs of movement curiously, trying to see in the darkness. She squeaked when she felt him behind her unexpectedly and she smiled softly, her gaze loving as he wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed her neck and shoulder. She stepped closer to him and purred playfully, resting her head against his chest. She smirked, she didn't even have to bend down or anything, she was simply shorter than him by quite a bit, but she didn't mind at all. "I love you" she said softly. She reached up and ran her hands through his wet hair and shivered as he ran a hand down her bare side. She started blushing when he ran his fingers along her spine and licked her ear. She loved it, obviously, but she was suddenly more aware of Akira's presence. Especially when she threw sand at Axel. Skye growled, joking around, and stuck her tounge out at Aki again before turning around in Axel's arms and kissing him, tracing his abs absentmindedly.
She pulled away and took a breath, her eyes shining. She then felt guilty about just spending time with Axel infront of Akira. Stepping towards the shore, she was just about to apologize when she heard sand being kicked up. She froze, her head snapping towards the source of the sound, when she saw someone appear. Probably the one girl she would have expected she would have been least likely to see. Her eyes widened and then she jumped up and down, squealing as the familiar figure ran towards her from a little ways down the beach. She could tell who it was even at night. "Dare?!" She hadn't seen her friend in over two years. They had grown up together in a way, since she had been Jake's best friend and Dare was his sister. She hugged her, then bit her lip apologetically when she got her clothes damp. "I thought you were in New Jersey! What brings you here?" she sounded disbelieving, as if she doubted that Dare was even here. But it was most likely because Skye predicted that Dare wasn't even supposed to be here in Nevada. Nonetheless, she was happy to see her. It had been way too long. They had basically lost connection when Jake left. "It's been forever" she added, sounding somewhat distracted suddenly. Jake. He had to be here somewhere. She blinked, trying to process what Dare had just said. She then giggled, looking over at Axel. Her hottie. "This is Axel. Axel, meet Dare. She's Jakob's sister. Dare, meet Axel. He's my boyfriend" she beamed. She then jogged over to Akira and grabbed her hand, dragging her over. "And this is Akira. Akira, Dare. Dare, Akira. She's my best friend, we work at Axel's stables together" Skye smiled. She then glanced behind Dare and saw a shadow. It was somewhat difficult to see him since he was wearing dark clothes, but he was there. "Hey, Jake" she said, stepping forwards and walking up to him. She then blushed, realizing she was still wearing her bikini. At least she had a great figure. She wasn't sure if she was going swimming again, though she glanced at her dress in the sand. "Still mad at me?" she asked, then kicked herself mentally afterwards. Of course he was. It hadn't been that long since he had found out she was pregnant, though she still wasn't sure why he was so upset with her.[/blockquote]

Axel grinned at Skye. He jumped slightly when he heard the water splash nearby and realized that Akira had thrown a clod of wet sand at him. He laughed slightly. "Missed!" he called over to Akira. Then followed Skye as she walked out of the water, shaking his head in an attempt to dry it a little. He then jumped as someone yelled out to Skye and blushed when he realized she was reffering to him as the hottie. He clasped his hands together behind his back and bowed slightly, "Pleasure." He said, holding out his hand for her to shake. When Skye spotted Jake, his eyes narrowed slightly. He really didn't know -why- they hated each other so much, Jake left skye, Jake and Skye are over each ozer, and now Skye is Vith Axel. All is right Vith ze heavens... oh great, reffering to myself in ze zird person Point of View: Not a good sign... He thought to himself.

Jakob & Dare Dare grinned as she saw Skye get out of the water, right behind her was Axel. She waited, smirking slightly at the pair. At her comment she heard someone laugh slightly, and she turned her head, looking for the other girl. Finally her gaze landed on someone she'd never met before and she gave her a big smile. Dare was a little overly hyper right now. Drunk on freedom, or something like that. She tapped her foot in slight impatience. Dare didn't exactly feel like standing around doing nothing right now. Can you imagine anything more boring that not moving, waiting for people to walk up, and being on the beach at night? When there was so many things you could be doing... However, she hadn't seen Skye in ages, and waiting for her wasn't that unbearable. She slowly tried to think about how long it had been. Two years maybe? She wasn't positive, but she knew it'd been way to long for her liking. Dare laughed out loud when Skye jumped up and down and squealed, shouting out her name. She returned the hug, grinning at her friend's apologetic look. She waved a hand dismissively. She didn't mind being a little wet, it was likely to happen anyway, considering they were standing not but a few feet from the water's edge. Dare smirked at Skye's question and shook her head slightly. "Do you really want me to go into this story? Not that it's very long... She trailed off slightly, smirking lightly. "Basically, I was sick of living with my parents. I'm out of high school but they still continue to tell me what I can and can not do. So I flew down here to live with Jake." She bit her lip as she mentioned her brother, knowing that him and Skye weren't exactly on the best terms at the moment. And she actually doubted they would ever be again. Skye believed he was a complete unfeeling jerk who left her, and it was likely her boyfriend hated Jake, and Jake... Well, she actually didn't know what he felt. He was usually good at hiding it, even from his own sister.
Dare glanced towards Axel and offered him a sunny smile. "Well, Axel, Skye's boyfriend, nice to meet you." She smirked, humor dancing in her hazel eyes as she looked at the young man. She laughed when he blushed when she used the word 'hottie'. Yeah, it was definitely fun to tease the more shy guys, their reactions were hilarious. She raised and eyebrow and looked thoroughly amused when he bowed and replied. "Mhmm..." She replied hesitantly, not quite sure what to make of him anymore. Dare returned her attention to Skye as she dragged the other girl over. Dare smiled at her and listened to the introduction. "Love your name, it's so unique!" The blonde teen said in greeting, with a friendly smile on her lips. "Best friends huh? That's awesome!" She smiled happily, arms crossed across her chest to keep a little bit warmer, the light breeze causing goosebumps to appear on her arms. Jake jerked his head up when he heard someone say his name, he looked at Skye, keeping his expression carefully impassive. He didn't want to be here. He didn't want to see Dare having a great time with his former best friend, and he honestly didn't want to see Skye with her new boyfriend. It hurt. As much as he didn't want to admit that. Even though it pained him, he'd keep her hating him. It was best that way. She... she couldn't associate with him. One way or another, she would get hurt by him, with those thoughts, he'd carefully keep her away. He didn't want to be the cause for anything, anymore hurt in her life. He just couldn't bare that again... "Skye..." He replied, his voice blank and emotionless. "Why would I be? Your life isn't any of my business, therefor, I have no right to be angry." He looked away from her, seeing his sister Dare, sending him an annoyed glare.

;; "Sure, the water might be warm now, but still, I'm not a big swimming person. Sort of pointless if you ask me, though I'm quite sure you're not." Akira winked, smiling. She was always happy when she was around Skye, and sort of annoyed when she was around Axel, but you put Skye and Axel together, you get an annoying happy person from Akira. She grinned back at Skye as she got growled at. "I'm sorry, am I taking away from your time with Your-Love-Bird?" she asked sarcastically, though it was clear she was only playing, and wasn't hurt in the least. Besides, her comment was quite funny, and it shouldn't have offended either Skye or Axel, and if it did... well... that would stink. Akira turned her head as a person she had never heard of and likely never met bounded towards them, calling out Skye's name. She bit her lip as Skye introduced Axel, trying not to say anything, and then when she was introduced, she was still biting her lip, but she gave a small wave, one of the only welcome gestures she ever made.
;; She growled at Axel, frustrated that she couldn't ever hit him with anything. Not an apple, not sand! And if she tried a bat, one, she'd get fired, and it was too much fun working at BFS, and it wasn't that she hated him or anything, it was something to entertain herself with. Secondly, Skye would be extremely mad at her. "Oh," Akira said, blinking. Not many people commented on her name, but Dare seemed to be one of those people that weren't shy to say anything. "Why thank you. Yep, Skye's an amazing friend, though unfortunately, she does came as a packaged deal with Axel." she grinned, not missing the opportunity to poke fun at the couple. Skye shouldn't mind either, it was practically a compliment for her. As Jake, or the one dubbed Jake, started to speak, Akira rose an eyebrow, assuming this was the person that had kept hurting Skye. She dimly realized that she was the only one sitting down, but she didn't care. She was too used to being the short one, but nonetheless she stood up, brushing the sand off her legs.
