((Ok realy bad but we needed to start with sumfin ))
Sly yawned happily; she was slightly exhausted, the day before they had finally gotten all the stalls in the barns fixed, along with the pastures. Also finishing Amy’s new dog run, the big dog had proved difficult to keep in the house, well with X-Larain stumbling around ungracefully. Amy seemed happy to have her own place outside.
With bare feet Sly made her way down the stairs silently, her stomach growling lightly at the thought of cereal. Once in the kitchen she went straight to the pantry, pulling out a box of Reese Puff’s, her favourite kind of cereal. She set the box down and clattered through the shelf for a bowl. Seconds of pouring herself a bowl a soft woof came from outside, surprise crossed Sly’s face. The twins were usually up and out working by seven? The twins was now what Ari and Janco were called, since they were always together. Sly walked to the window over the double sink, parting the thick green drapes she peeked outside.
Grey clouds swirled above, and from the distance you could see the rain that poured down onto the hungry trees located on the hills. Small flashes could be seen in the distance, but they were too far to make any noise yet. Sly smiled, she loved storms and knew SweetThing would expect to be ridden on a day like this. Sly’s grandmother had always been taught a warm summer’s storm was what was sent by the ancestors to clear a soul of sins. Sly’s green eyes shimmered in the dull light as she continued to look outside, her lips pressed into a thin line. Deep in thought she closed the drapes, and headed for the kitchen door that lead to the garden outback. As she opened the door the warm breeze caught at her hair and flung it from her face.
A sweet smell reached around her in a blanket, the smell of a coming storm. Copper hair settled around her dark tan skin as she stepped, bare foot, onto the step. Her baggy blue pyjama’s blew happily, as her hair lay against her white baggy T-Shirt. A new day, a new week, another start. Sly yawned again at the thought, stretching her hands over her head. Yes... The Start... Sly looked up as a bird flew by in the fadding sun.
The start of something New.

Seth sighed unhappily as he flung his legs over the bed, he hunched over to brush his hands threw his shaggy hair. Another sigh escaping his lips as he leaned back to stare at the roof. It had been two weeks since Seth had uncovered something from his lost memory, the name Stacey. He hadn't wanted to call his parents to ask them, since it seemed they bulked at any mention of him remembering what had happened. Plus they would just worry and ask I move back in.... Seth sat back up and closed his eyes, [glow=beige,2,300]"I can do this on my own...." [/glow]Seth stood and started to get dressed, pulling on a white muscle shirt. But you didn't do it alone.... Sly was there!
Seth had headed downstairs in order to escape his thoughts, hoping a ride could clear his mind. Sherika had been cooped up in her stall because of a cold, but she had been fine for a couple of days now, and he hoped she would enjoy a ride.
Entering the kitchen, Seth looked to the counters, expecting to see the twins breakfast mess, but only saw a single bowl. Odd.. He thought as he walked over to the bowl, it had cereal, but no milk. Without another glance he headed to the door that lead outside, hoping to get outside without disturbing who ever was up.
Before he opened the door he noticed a figure threw the thin drape on the door window. Seth reached out with his hand and parted the material, only to reveal Sly standing on the step. She was standing in the breeze looking up. Seth marveled at the smile that spread across her face like any angel, but also because she hadn't smiled like that for weeks.
Almost embarrassed by his observation, Seth stepped back, his cheeks flushing. I'm glad she's in a good mood.... Seth stepped away from the door and headed threw the dinning room to the front door, still hoping not to be noticed leaving, since the twins were still in bed.

Janco opened his eyes slowly. He felt unusually tired, like he'd spent the night jumping on his bed instead of sleeping. With a groan, he rolled over to shut off his alram clock. But instead, he found it laying broken on the ground. Confused, he sat up, rubbing his eyes. He looked at Ari, who was still asleep too. He glanced at Ari's wrist watch on the nightstand and cursed. They'd slept in for two hours! Picking up his pillow, he hucked it Ari head. "Get up, Ari!" He grumbled, getting out of bed. But he'd stood up too soon and almost fell over. Ari groaned and pulled the blankets higher over his head. With an irritated sigh, Janco ripped the blankets off Aris bed.
"What?" Ari muttered, opening his eyes. He sat up and looked around for his blankets. Then he looked out the window. "The suns not even close to coming up, Janco!" He grumbled, staring out the window. Janco was pulling on his jeans.
"That's because the clouds are covering it. A storms coming." He glanced around the room, looking for his sunglasses. He found them on Aris desk and put them on, grabbing the white T-shirt that hung off the back of the chair too. He stuffed the shirt into his pocket, though most of it hung out. "Come on, get. It's past seven," With that, he walked out the door.
"Past seven?!" Ari gasped. He cursed quietly and jumped out of bed, grabbing jeans and a white muscle shirt. He hastily put them on and grabbed his watch, strapping it on to his wrist. He left the room, shutting the door behind him. Bounding down the stairs, he caught up with Janco. With a chuckle, he shoved him out of the way. "Hey!" Janco grumbled, leaping back up. The went into the kitchen and saw a bowl. They grabbed there own and before Janco could pour some cereal, Ari grabbed it and poured his own bowl. "Jerk," Janco muttered. Ari just grinned at his cousin and walked into the dining room, sitting in his chair. Hiw seat was between Sly and Seth. Jancos was across from him, between X-Larain and Seth, much to X-Larains displeasure.
Janco walked into the room too, milk leaking from the corner of his mouth. He wiped at it was his fore-arm and sat down. Within moments they had both emptied their bowls and leaned back in their chairs. "So, what needs fixing today?" Ari wondered out loud.
"Well, aside from your brain, I'm not sure," Janco responded with a grin. Ari flicked his sthingy at him, but he neatly moved out of the way. "No, but I am serious. I have no idea what needs fixin' today." They stood up stimuasly(sp??) and went back to the kitchen, setting their bowls in the sink. Looking over, Janco noticed the door to the back yard was open. Walking over to it, he found Sly. As silently as he could, he snuck up behind her and ruffled her long soft orange hair. "Hey Sly. Seen Seth or X?" He asked with a chuckled, leaning against the door frame. Ari came up behind him. "Mornin' Sly." He said, stopping about a foor away from Janco, who took up the whole door frame. He still liked the fact that all the doors were tall enough for them to get through without having to duck too much. He looked out at the sky and saw the clouds swirling in the distance.

X-Larain sat there with a smiled splayed on her lips. She had gotten up extra early that morning, just before four o'clock. She had taken Ryley out for a ride in the hills. They had gone towards the storm, but had only gotten close enough to feel a light spray of rain before they'd turned back. The entire night she couldn't sleep, eager for the storm. When she was younger she used to take her neighbors dog ot for runs or walks or just to play in the rain. Over the years her youthful lovee of storms never changed, like everything else had. With a big yawn, she stood up and stretched. A light drop fell on her pale arm and she looked up to the sky. The clouds were dark and ever rolling closer, bringing with them the ran. Her heart pounded with eager anticipation for the storm; a flash of lightning, a boom of thunder, the pain of hail and the soft feelin g of rain beating down on her. Turning around, she re-opened her window and crawled through. Catching her foot on the ledge, she- ungracefully as usual- toppled into her room landing with a thud on the bed. She paused to listen and found that she could no longer hear the deep, and annoying, snore of Ari. She decided they would be up already, given he fact that it was past seven, and they generally got up earlier. Crossing the room to her dresser- that she made with Aris help- she pulled open a drawer and took out a baggy, crumpled dark grey T-shirt, and threw it on over top of her white tank top. She plopped onto her bed again and yanked on a pair of fuzzy socks. /brushing her bangs out of her face absently, she opened her door and exited the room. Lightly, she leaped down the stairs, taking them to at a time. She'd finally mastered i. She could go down the stairs two, sometimes three steps at a time, but she coyld barely make one step upwards. She shook hr head and went into the kitchen. Instead of her normal cereal for breakfest, she got down on her knees and opened one of the cupboards, reaching deep inside until she found what she was looking for; Nutella. Standing, she grabbed a sthingy from a drawer and twisted off the lid. Dipping the sthingy into the jar, she extracted a large glob of bron chocolatey goodness. She stuck the sthingy in her mouth and walked out the front door at the other end of the house. But no one was outside. She walked back into the house just in time to see Janco and ari walked through the door to the garden. Her first reaction was surprise- they never went into the garden. Well, Janco didn't. Ari did sometimes, he seemed to enjoy working in the garden. Walking to the door, she paused behind Ari, her hai slightly damp from the rain that had splashed onto it earlier. "Finally decided to get up?" She said with light sarcasm, her words muddled by the Nutella.

Sly ducked under the pressure of Janco's hand. She had heard them get up, since the two never tried to sneak around the house. Sighing Sly truned to the towering men. [glow=black,2,300]"Morning guys!" [/glow]She beamed happily, blushing slightly as she remembered she was in her Pj's. She turned again to the coming storm, the wind picking up and whipping her hair. Sly could hear the horses in the barn greeting someone, and decided it was time to get ready and take SweetThing out. Smiling happily, Sly headed to the door. [glow=black,2,300]"No I havent seen either of them...." [/glow]Sly passed Janco and sqeezed herself passed Ari, brushed herself close against him. Heat rose through out Sly's face as she did so, but continued scooting past. [glow=black,2,300]"I'm..... Going out for a ride..."[/glow] Sly looked up at Ari, she took in his pale eyes, only to turn abruptly and walk away into the living room. Her breath had odily begun to rise as she neared the stairs. She hesitated before going up. She remembered a week ago, when Seth had become sick of somesort, and she had ended up in her bed. Since then she couldn't stop thinking about it, about how he had felt there with her. How he seemed to need her. But somehow whenever she was with Ari she would forget all those feeling for Seth. The feeling for Ari were mixed, and confsuing, while Seth's were clear and ringing out. Sly shook her head and headed up the stairs. She had never encountered feeling like this back home, and it all confused her. Before she knew it, she was already up the stairs and into her room.
***
Sly had snuck into the barn, and happily noticed Seth in Serica's stall, but he hadn't noticed her as she went to SweetThing's stall. So without Seth's knowing, Sly and Sweety snuck out for a bareback ride into the hills beyond the farm. She passed the race track and training areas in silence, but once she reached the sign at the end of the path, she smiled at the yellow barrior. With a small bit of pressure from her legs, Sweety cantered up and jumped easily. Once on the other side she snorted and tossed her head in satisfaction. [glow=black,2,300]"I'm glad you'r having fun!" [/glow]Sly reached down and stroked Sweety's neack as they trotted off into the tree's at the base of the hills.

Seth sighed unhappily, as he continued to brush Sherika's coat. He had been working on her stall and realized it was much to quite, so he had turned on the stereo that the twins had installed in the barn days earlier. But to his dismay the music ceased and was now replaced by the un welcomed weather report. ~Tonight there has been a warning issued for FalconVille, hot and cold thermals are clashing just west near the hills. The warning is for a lightning storm soon to come, but also a potential tornado on the way.~ [glow=beige,2,300]"Well I better go get the other horses into the barn, sorry girl no ride today." [/glow]Seth stepped back to look over his handy work on Sherika's coat. Satisfied he headed out of the stall and down the hallway to the tack room. As he looked about the room for halters, he realized they were all missing. [glow=beige,2,300]"The girls must have brought them in already...." [/glow] Another sigh emitted from his lips as he exited the tack room to look into the other horses stalls. I cant seem to focus... Why hadn't I noticed the other horses in here before???. Seth stopped at SweetThings stall and realized why he hadn't, because they weren't, or not SweetThing anyway. Panic rose slightly as Seth reeled through his head were Sly might have gone. If she had went to town it would be alright, but knowing Sly, Seth knew she went into the hills. Even after he had warned her not to without him clearing a suitable trail. The hills in the back were the next project Seth planned on tackling. He wanted to clear a trail and put down sand, and also make a small horse proof bridge to go over the stream that ran over a part of the path he had already scouted. It was Seth's dream to make a wonderful place for horses and their owners to enjoy. Since He had planed to bored other people. Without even thinking about it he had already gotten two borders, and two hired hands, so far his dream was coming true. [glow=beige,2,300]"Well I better go find that girl..." [/glow]Seth scratched at his hair, wanting to be mad to have to babysit, but he knew he could never really be mad at Sly. Even the thought of being with her made his stomach flip. In no time he had Sherika tacked and ready to go, hoping to find Sly before the storm hit.... or the tornado.

Jancos mouth quirked up at the corners as Sly ducked out from under his hand. She turned back around, causing her hair to fly everywhere. Raising his arm he brushed it out of his face. She walked passed them, then looked back at Ari. He smiled at her in return and shrugged. "Have fun then. Though, you may wanna make it quick. Looks like a storms commin'," He watched her as she walked off in her Pj's, then was surprised when X-Larain was suddenly there, a s thingy of Nutella in her one hand, her other on her hip. Her dark hair was damp and in places stuck to her very pale face. Ari glanced over at Janco and was mildly surprised to see his eyes cast down at his feet. His eye came up briefly and his normal mischievous smile was in place.
"Yes well, someone," he looked pointedly at Janco, "Broke the alarm clock." He was surprised at how non-grumpy she seemed this morning. Her eyes seemed to hold more life than usual and she pulsed with energy. Still, he shrugged it off, just glad she wasn't gloom and doom for a bit. He scooted passed her and found she smelled a bit like rain. His footsteps hesitated for a moment but then he continued on. Walking to the fridge, he grabbed an apple, rinsed it off and began munching on it. Leaning against the counter, he looked over at X-Larain, where she stood by the door near Janco. "So, what were you doing?" He asked her, indicating with his apple at her damp hair.
Janco walked around X-Larain, careful not to touch her, on eggshells, and opened the fridge. As always there was juice in the fridge. Lifting off the top of the jug, he sniffed it and found it was Pink Lemonade. He took a glass from one of the cupboards above the counters. He poured some juice into the cup and went to stand/lean against the cupboard between the door to the dining room and the door to the living room. He rocked back on his heels and swallowed his drink. A moment went by and he set his cup on the counter. He turned around and headed toward the bathroom. "I'm going for a shower," He said over his shoulder, pulling off his sunglasses when he was half way to the door.
Ari shrugged as his cousin left and smiled sheepishly at the girl standing before him, still eating Nutella. He took a bite of his apple and thought for a moment. "Do you want to play Scrabble or something?" He asked suddenly, feeling the need to do something but nothing at the same time.
