Vivian walked with her head high and Dorothy held in her arms. It was no secret that Ziggy was missing. She would get her anger out on Ivan, he was the one that stuck him in a coma. She thought about Ziggy, her eyes instantly teared up. Walking into the police station went to the desk "I am here t-to see I-Ivan" she said and wiped her eyes with a tissue. They obviously thought she was family so let her in. When the police officer went, she smiled and waggled her fingers at Ivan "hello, you obviously remember me" she said and laughed slightly. Dorothy giggled, copying her mother. "Me and Ziggy are getting married! It such wonderful news, is it not?" she said, her voice breaking a little on his name. "This is our baby girl, Dorothy May" she said happily and looked at the child. Then, she looked into the man's eyes. They looked so evil, but it was time to inflict some deep pain. "You know, Ivan, you will pay so much for knocking my husband into a coma. And now he has been captured..." then she shut her mouth, realising she just said too much.
She walked up to the bars "You know what Ivan? I want everything, your ranch, your horses and your money. Then, I will get off your back" she hissed. She would make him so low, with nothing left in the world. And for a girl, she could fight. Well, she did have several detectives which she knew. They would always help her, they were her fiance's friends. The ring was shown on her finger, it was beautiful. So many stones and so expensive. "You do know, your not invited to the wedding. Everyone else is, including poor little Dmitri. Your horrible, you beat up the ones less powerful than you. You know what, your just like a school bully, picking on the less powerful" her voice was raising and she was almost screaming the words. Calming herself, she threw a large stone at him. It was smooth so it wouldn't cut but would hurt if it hit him. She didn't care if she would get put in jail as well, it would be a good time to think. Her eyes narrowed at the man in the cell, to her he was just a hideous, old man. One that hurt her fiance.

Ivan had his back to the wall, sitting on the farthest extreme of the little cot they called a bed with his eyes half-closed, listening to whatever he could hear from beyond. Not that he oculd hear much from here: as far as he could tell, he was the only one on this particular line of cells. It was far from a miserable existence, in fact, all he'd ever wanted was this still, quiet peace. But all the same. He didn't want to be here. He wanted to be out, and he wanted to speak to his former stable-hand again. The conversation he'd had with the nasty little rodent was still circling itself in his head. At the sound of footsteps he looked up, a little sneer flying across his lips, and then surprise as Vivian came into view. He hadn't been expecting that... He studied for a moment the girl in her arms, listening to her voice. She was obviously angry at him, but he was used to that.
"I remember you," he growled, the edge of malice trembling behind rather bored tones, "and I already knew that. But I don't care." He managed a little chuckle at her threat. "You don't scare me, you know. You can't really do anything. But all the same, what do you mean, captured?" She was so ridiculous, he thought, standing there and threatening him. Hollow threats. She couldn't lay a finger on him, much less hurt him in other ways. "You want everything I have, fine. I'll be d**ned if you get it. But I'm used to having nothing." This was true. "I wouldn't have come even if I was invited," he snarled at her next comment, "If you don't destry the weak, you yourself will be destroyed, Vivian. You're too young to know that, though. You don't remember what life was like before you were born."
Since he wasn't looking at her, he didn't notice the stone, and when it dealt him a blow to the ear he sprang up, for a moment all animal rage. He sprang to the bars with his lips curled, eyes flashing. "You dare!" he snarled. With rage written on his face he reached his arm through the bars, for a moment looking as if he were going to slap not her, but her tiny daughter. But then he drew back, eyes flashing to the camera warily.

Vivian stared at him. She laughed and then raised a eye-brow "Destroy the weak? Does that mean every disabled person, every person who isn't 'Ideal'. You know what? You remind me of someone, someone who wants all the glory. Someone who wants the 'perfect' world". When the stone hit him he smiled but the smile vanished as his hand came through the bars. She stared at his hand and then at Dorothy. "You dare..." she said, her voice laid with fear for her baby girl. She then eyed him and as he was against the bars she talked softly. "Oh, and Ziggy is missing. Gone. You don't know what it is like, to have someone you love leave without a trace. When you know it is against there will" she looked into his beady eyes. The rage was flooding through her body. She was itching to slap him but she couldn't. Not with her daughter in her arms. Looking up at the camera she shrugged "forgive me for what I am about to do" she whispered and then looked back at Ivan. She aimed a kick at him, her hard, pointed shoes flying toward his unprotected shin.
You couldn't describe the rage she felt, she was taking everything out on Ivan. You might say it was mean but it was making her feel better. She then screamed before sinking to the floor. Tears were flowing down her face, she was going insane. Every dream of hers contained him. He was always there but out of reach. He couldn't hear her when she yelled his name, he wouldn't turn but when she did see his face. Every feature was pristine, not like what she tried to imagine in her mind. She was breaking down, slumped on the floor crying. Her eyes looked at Ivan, she then started to talk but her voice was shaky "w-when will h-he come b-b-back to m-me?" she questioned even though he didn't know the answer. It was as if her emotions were killing her. She was there but all feelings were gone, she was just a shell. She had nothing to live for now, everything was gone. It felt as if it was ending, her life and the whole world. She needed to get out of here, she needed to go back to England.

Ivan glared at her. "I told you that you didn't understand. I didn't take Dmitri with me just to hurt him. Ask him. But I have no trouble leaving behind that which hinders progress. I don't want the perfect world. I want to survive in this one." Why was he even telling her this? It wasn't as if it mattered. It wasn't as if he cared about her, or vice versa. As far as he cared, she could die this instant and he would just shrug it off. Her next proclaimation made him tremble with rage, and again he was against the bars, his entire form like some great beast fighting to keep from hurting her and digging himself into a deeper whole. "YES. I. DO!" he roared, glaring at her, his face shoved up against the bars, his knuckles white across his hands clenched on the opposite bars. Then, suddenly regaining his composure, he stepped back, glaring at her. Then his gaze shifted to Dorothy. "I had a daughter once too, you know." He snarled, and then added, so quietly that she almost couldn't hear it, "and if I'd only been able to raise her, she wouldn't have wounded up with that useless maggot I called a stable boy..."
He didn't even move when she kicked him, only his face betrayed the faintest hint of a wince. He turned his head away as she began to break down, realizing that he'd been conversing with a crazy person this whole time. Then he turned his head back as she stammered at him, his eyes cold, his arms crossed. A slow, sadistic grin twisted his features, his eyes lighting up. He understood that she had loved this boy, and the fact that she was so hurt gave him a sense of joy. "Never," he hissed through the bars, "mine never did." Suddenly, the prison guard came through the far door, and Ivan sat down on the cot again, glaring at him as he came over and touched Vivian's shoulder. "Excuse me, miss, but it's time for you to leav here," he said kindly. "Did this man hurt you?" he asked, seeing that she had been crying, and then looking at Dorothy May curiously. "I did not," Ivan murmured darkly from his place on the bunk, but the guard didn't even turn to acknowledge him.

Vivian looked at Ivan. She then slowly stood when the guard came in. When he told her to go she screamed at him, when he actually touched her she slapped him around the face "leave me alone you creep!" she shouted. The man's face then turned into a frown. He took her by the wrist and put her into the cell next to Ivan's. "You are under arrest for assault of a police officer, is there anyone you would like this child to go to?" Vivian looked down at her daughter. Her pristine little daughter. When the officer took her child she screamed again "why is everyone taking away everyone I love? ROXY! Give her to Roxy..." her voice trailed off as the tears fell down her face. Vivian was going mad, the rumours were probably going around as we speak. She then looked at Ivan, at his ugly, old face. "You did this! You plotted it right from the start. You wanted me to be miserable just because I had happiness. Thats why you ran him over, thats why you have him captured somewhere. I hate you. I HATE YOU!" she screamed. The voice then turned into a low whisper "I'm going mad, I'm really going mad..."
The young woman was going through so much pain. She looked around the cell, there was nothing here she could damage herself with. The thoughts were going through her mind, she needed to out of this life. She needed to stop the pain. She needed to die. Sitting on the 'bed' she wrapped her arms around her legs and rocked slowly back and forth. The woman wasn't talking, her face was blank. She thought about all the times she was with Ziggy. When they first met under some very awkward circumstances, when they got engaged and of course the same day when Dorothy was born. Then everything else came into her mind, Ziggy being run over. Ziggy in a coma. Then she thought of Ziggy waking up. Her lips curled into a slight smile, how she loved it when he smiled. She turned her head, just that little bit, and looked at the wall. She was really just staring into space. Slowly, Vivian stood. She started to run her nails over the wall. It made a soft tapping sound. Vivian started to hum a tune then, to everyone it would be random but to her it was his song. The tune was slow and sounded quite sad, it was the song she had wrote when he had first left.

Roxy McRae Roxy grinned at her friend, and laughed. "Naw, you'll look..." She paused to look him at him, as if contemplating a word choice. "Cute in a tux with a cast." She finally finished, obviously teasing him. However, their joking conversation ended when Roxy got the distressing phone call. She almost wanted to stop answering her phone from now on. The most recent phone call was the one about her finances, then before that was Rory in the hospital. Now, Viv had assaulted a police officer and was in jail. She moaned, rubbing her temples with her fingers, starting to get a headache. Her life was just awful sometimes. She got up quickly and ran out to her truck, not waiting to hear Rory's response. She couldn't help but smile slightly as Rory hopped into her truck and muttered a few words in astonishment. A grim look now covered her face and she nodded. "I just can't believe she'd do that. I should've never let her go to the jail to visit Ivan. I still can't believe she did that!" Roxy huffed in annoyance, pulling away from Rory's house and towards the road that would lead to the police station.
It only took a few minutes before the old truck was pulling into the parking lot for the police station. She took the key out of the ignition and opened the door, getting out. Her boots hit the ground with a dull thud that seemed to just make her head ache worse. Roxy was just sick of things like this happening when Rory and her got together. Friends should be able to have fun together without something like this happening. She hurried into the police station, sure that Rory would follow her. She rushed up to one of the men in a uniform. "I'm here to pick something up for Vivian." The man looked at her, and then nodded. 'I take it you're Miss. McRae?'. Roxy nodded, pulling out her drivers license so they could see she wasn't lying about anything. The man walked back and a lady office came out, holding a baby. Roxy's eyes bugged out. "She wants me to take Dorothy! I can't take care of a baby!" The police officer chuckled. 'Maybe you should go talk to her miss.' The lady said. Roxy nodded "Good idea." Hesitantly, and awkwardly, she took the baby, situating Dorothy in her arms. She slowly walked to where Viv was in a cell. She saw her friend pacing, singing a low tune. "Viv, what did you do?" Roxy said, despair lining her voice.

Rory stuck out his tongue at Roxy's words, "You're saying I don't look cute anyway?" he teased, before shutting up and following her with the blind faith of one who has nothing to lose. He didn't know Vivian very well, but she didn't seem like the sort to go off and get in trouble like this. Then again... Ivan was involved. Rory had only met the nasty man briefly, but he instantly knew that this wasn't his sort of person. He was silent and pensive, an unusual mood for him, as Roxy raged, his eyes on his toes, chewing on his lower lip. He followed her into the station, still silent, and watched, his face slowly morphing into one of surprise, as Dorothy Mae was handed to her. Roxy? With a baby? He held back a chuckle at the thought, watching as Roxy handled the child like some sort of priceless vase that could break at the slightest touch. Feeling as if he were trapped in a bubble of his own, removed from the whole situation and unable to do much, he proceeded to make funny faces at the child while Roxy was talking to Viv. "Hey, there, sweetpea," he murmured, looking at the darling little infant with a grin. Rory liked children - always had, and always would.
Ivan chuckled as Vivian accused him of stealing her fiancee. Like he would do anything like that. he wasn't that smart, or that malicious. He had no reason to orchestrate some grand scheme to ruin her happiness, especially when he cared so little about her. At least she would make life here more... interesting... He glared at Rory and Roxy and Dorothy May through the bars of the cell, annoyed. What was with all these people? Usually he had his solitude, which was almost nice. But it seemed like the whole town had been thorugh here today. Rory was still making faces at Dorothy May, covering his eyes with a hand and pretending to be surprised when he saw her. It was the sort of childish abandon that he was so enamored of, and since he felt like a fifth wheel in this situation, he might as well entertain the child. Vaguely, he wondered if she had any idea what was going on. If she knew that her mother was in trouble, and if she had any idea that she probably wasn't going to see her again for a while. But he shook the thought off soon enough and continued to play peek-a-boo with the baby, grinning liek a fool.

Vivian looked at Roxy, then at Rory. She walked to the bars "I didn't mean it Rox, I truly didn't. Its just everything is so complicated" she said and hung her head. It was so lonely in her big empty house. She looked into her friends eyes, tears in her own. "I miss him Rox, I miss him so much. I just can't cope" came her voice but this time no strength was put into it. Normally, she would always be very loud but this time her voice showed a person. Not a spoiled brat with lots of money. She looked at Rory "hey Rory, I'm sorry you had to come here in these circumstances" she said giving him a weak smile. Then looking at Dorothy she laughed at the 15 month old child. She was growing quick. It wouldn't be long until she was a teenager and moving out. How she loved her, how she wanted to be out of this cell. Apparently, they were sorting something out and there was a chance she would be out soon as it was her first ever 'offence' so she hoped for a warning and to be out.
Then as if a miracle happened in came a officer, actually one she recognized. "Miss Ward, we are letting you out today. But hitting a police officer really isn't a good thing" came his voice and then it clicked "wait! Your one of Ziggy's police friends aren't you?" she asked and the officer mearly nodded and opened the cell before leaving again. Stepping out she looked at Roxy "you came here for nothing, I'm so sorry" she said and then sighed. "I need to move on, he isn't coming back. My hope is lost so I just ned to be strong" she said, the tears welling up in her eyes then gently rolling down her face. She slowly started to walk out of the station and then saw Roxy's truck. "I suppose I better be getting back at the ranch" she said carefully taking Dorothy and kissing her forehead lightly. She had been designing clothes recently in a sketch pad. Some were amazing designs and it would be good to just get lost in the drawings. Looking at Rory she smiled "I am sorry for interupting you two. I really am, let me make it up to you. Maybe dinner one night?" she said. The woman hadn't cooked for more than herself and Dorothy in a while.
