The brilliant white mare cantered through the land. She blended in with the snow under her hooves. She let her head drop as she sped into a gallop and then paused. Her orbs watched the peaceful land. Then, she stepped back and rose powerfully up on her back hooves. Letting out a loud whinny she called to the land "I, Isabelle, come forward. Let me find my King, I wish to meet him" came her soft voice. She dropped elegantly back onto her four hooves and held her boa high. She trotted around and reached the waterfall. It was absolutely beautiful. She looked into the plunge pool. Its water bubbling from the ever cascading waterfall. She looked into the reflection. Staring back at her, was a horse quite thin. Her coat was matted from no grooming, this mare wasn't what people thought her to be. Especially her mother. She looked across the snow, there was no way of getting to the grass underneath. She flicked her dirty, matted tail and walked away from the water. She then turned her head. She thought she heard the beat of hooves but nothing was there. Digging into the snow, she reached the grass underneath.
She ate at it. The taste was not that nice but she ate. When she lifted her head, she heard the voice again. Isabelle, darling, you have power. Why not start revenge, on Dazeedo and the darks. Kill them with your power dearest. She shook her head and neighed. Serpenta, her evil side. She, however, thinks its a evil spirit of a old queen from the dark land. The poor mare was troubled by her. It was her mother's fault, the light who led her own daughter into the dark lands. She wanted her daughter to know how they lived so she would help in later life. In a way it worked. She knows every crack and crevice in the land of evil. Destuous Valley. She would now be able to plan a attack on the evil land. Suhas and Isabelle. King and Queen. She flicked her tail and stood in the snow, it was breeding season. The time when mates came together to have a child. She sighed, it always reminded her of the time she wanted Dazeedo to bear her child. She has regretted it ever since. A neutral and a dark, she would never hear the end of it.

Suhas raised his patched head, his one blue eye glinting as his auds flicked, listening to the sound of approaching hoofbeats. He sensed no hostility in the approach, for he smelled that the mare was a neutral. There was some darkness there, yes, like a ghost, that offensive reek of evil doings, but it was long faded by time. Pricking his ears, the king went to greet whoever it was. He had drawn close enough to see her when she spoke, and a snort of surprise passed his nostrils. This was Isabelle? His queen? He had not expected to find such a sorry, thin creature as her, although he could see that she was quite beautiful. She was a powerful mare, he knew, with knowledge of the darks that was invaluable. Knowledge of the king of the darks himself. Coming from behind her, he could see the waterfall disturbing the pool, which never froze over due to the motion of the cataract itself. He stepped slowly, his gait every bit as proud and wise as that of a royal, his great head wooly with a fine winter coat. He made his way over to her, standing slowly before her and eying her over for a long moment before speaking, trying to gain some knowledge of her before speaking. She seemed troubled, he thought, and she had seen tough times lately... but there was a spark in her eye that mirrored his own. The passionate hate of the darks.
"Isabelle," he spoke finally, his voice low but kindly, "I am Suhas, the king of these lands, and you are now my queen." His head was held high, but he did not try to convince her of his superiority. She was to reign as his equal. That is, if she proved herself to be as cunning and helpful as he thought. He was aware that it was breeding season, but he did not know if his queen wanted an heir yet, for it seemed that she was a little bit thin and a little bit unhealthy at the moment. Perhaps they would wait until next season, when the apples had grown and she had regained her beauty. "Speak. Why is it that you have called to me?" he asked after a moment, musing over these points. He knew that she had been living in neutral lands before becoming the light queen, and this worried him. Her devotion to the light alliance would have to be absolute if she were to remain queen of these lands, of course.

Isabelle looked up. She saw the King "Yes, Suhas, my frame is not one of a good queen. But hopefully, my strength will return" she said softly. At his next works she flicked her tail "to get rid of the darks. My past is one not many have been through. I think you should know about it" came that sweet voice again. She took a breath, it would be hard to tell her tale. "I was born in the land of Freedom Valley. My father was never there when I was born, I have never met him. I was growing strong, then the worst struck. A stallion, Don't Blink, wanted my mother's land. Before they fought she took me to Destuous. I was a small foal of about 8 months. She left me there, with Dazeedo. I was brought up by darks. My mother was light, I shall never know why she took me there" Isabelle paused. She was shaking her head, it was so painful to speak of her past. Everything was just so difficult. She never had a childhood, to grow with her mother and be happy in her land. She then decided to carry on with her story.
"My mother lost the battle, she never returned to Destuous. By then, I was happy in the land. I learned about it, every place and every danger. When I had reached three, I had grown attatched to Dazeedo. He was a handsome stallion. One of my own breed. I was ready to bear his children. I shall never forgive myself, for thinking about that. Disobeying every law. I managed to stop myself, running away. I ran to my mother, into the lands of Insanity Falls. She had foaled Blink's son. My half-brother" she stopped. That was her story told, the twisted tale of a mare. She dropped her head, she was saddened. She had thought back in her memories, of everything and every thought had woken. They were stirring around her mind. That was a hard tale, you managed it well. Its ok, darling, I am here. Let me take over for a while. Inside her mind, Serpenta was talking to her again. She then gave in with her evil side. This was everything Isabelle didn't want to happen, but somehow she had to let her evil take over.
Serpenta took over. "Suhas" she said tossing her head up high "tell me, what is your dream?" she said. The confidence in her voice so strong, it was really as if a different person had taken over. She stood, her boa held high and watched him. Then Isabelle came back. She immediatly dropped her head "leave me, leave my body alone. Your evil ways cannot trouble me Serpenta" came her voice. To any onlooker she would look insane, and that onlooker was now Suhas. The King. She looked up "I am so sorry Suhas. There is something I must tell you. About myself" she said. "There is evil brewing inside me, trying to take over my body. I believe it was once a queen off the dark land who's spirit is trying to take over my whole body. Trying to kill every light using me. It happened while I was in Destuous" she sighed. Stepping toward him she lowered her boa. She was not worthy of being queen. This twisted soul, it couldn't live up to being a ruler. She was already being driven to insanity. The horse just needed to lie down and go to sleep and to never wake up again.
