((Long title right? Well she has a long name, lmao.))
Lily had just left a sizable lake and after drinking her fill she entered another patch of land which she figured was uninhabited. Her hair was scarred, scabbed and muddied washing away most of her bright coat. A bath would have been pleasurable at this moment, but she need to check it out first. The grass below her hooves was slightly wet maybe from the rain that had come the night before, but each single blade of grass was as green as they come. She leaned over and took a bite. "Not bad." The edges of the area were covered with flowers of all colors and sizes. She imagined that a few of the flowers were edible. The flowers seemed to be thicker in front of a group of trees. Almost as if they were blocking the entrance to an unknown part of this land. She ignored it for the time being and trotted forward. To the north of her was a small river that went beyond the territory she was in but with the amount of rain that fell here, the river was always full. To her east were a row of bushes, large enough to be an ideal hiding place. When she turned back to her south she could she the large lake from which she had just came. Back over to the west she noticed part of the land was dying off. Trees, that interlocked so thickly had almost prevented any rain from getting to the flowers and grass that lined there. The trees and brown grass almost looked like a path that Lily may use as her own hideout.
A large roar came from the forest where the flowers had laid thick. Lily swung her body around her heart pounding. Nothing emerged, and she felt nothing would, but what if one day something did? With the said in a matter of moments, the sun was covered by a thick layer of clouds as rain began to drop up her mane and back, washing away her dirt. The rain was almost gente on her skin as if each drop had a hand that could apply as little or as much force as it wanted. She suddenly forgot about the forest, and upon realizing it's emptiness knew she had to claim this before anyone else.
Lily got on top of a sizable boulder and rose her head in the falling rain that danced around as her as she opened her throat and jaw to speak, I hereby declare this land, property of Flowing Lily Of The Valley! And it shall be called, Meadows of Rain! The peaceful flat land for all to not fear anymore, and feel warmth and love and protection!" She screamed out to the highest of her ability and when she had finished she jumped down and waited in the wet land she hoped could be hers. Her calm nature was what made this place perfect for her personality...
