She walked with grace. The beach was the best part of the town. Her familiar DB9 in the parking lot. Her shoes were in the car as she walked across the sand barefooted. Everything was so peaceful. The waves gently falling onto the sound and then being taken back out to make way for another wave. She watched them for a while before taking her phone out her pocket. She opened up the texting bit and typed 'come to the beach. It will clear your head. Viv. xxx.' she went down her phonebook to Z. She pressed the ID which said Ziggy x before sending.
She missed him so much. Her heart was aching. It had been for months. Four months in fact. Her brunette curls whipped around her face in the breeze. She was wearing a thin top and a skirt. She had changed. Not the woman she used to be. This time, she looked more natural. Not someone who tries there best to look beautiful. No. She was pretty in her own way. Why try to be someone your not. This was her life. Her love of her life would be arriving soon and they would get their daughter too. She would live happily ever after.

Ziggy had been sulking at home. Sighing heavily and frequently every so often. He had been eating nothing but sugary things, he had gotten a bit skinnier as well. Not as much to easily be noticed, but enough you could tell if you looked at him hard enough. He suddenly jumped when his phone started vibrating, he had set it to vibrate to keep it from distracting him, and, this is where he messed up: he put it in his -front- pocket. Big mistake. He took it out of his pocket and breathed a sigh of relief, he had not been expecting that.
He looked at the text message on hisphone, his black eyes scanning over the text message. He noticed the name 'Viv' "It.... it couldn't be..." he muttered. He then dashed out to his harley. Bringing it out from the garage and slipped on the flame-design helmet. Safety was a must for a detective. And he started the motorcycle with a loud roar, and he sped off, the horses had heard his BMW many times since Vivian had left, and he only hoped they had gotten used to the loud noise. This motorbike wasn't quite as loud, but was still fairly noisy.
Driving down the road, he wondered: what made Vivian come back? It wasn't that he didn't want her here, it was just that he hadn't been expecting it. Seems like he didn't expect a lot these days. Finally, he pulled into the parking lot. And ran down to the beach, barefoot as he always was. The shoes which he rarely wore had been left back at the ranch in his haste. He stopped, looking out into the waters, he had never before stopped to realize just how beautiful the horizon was here. He then looked up and down the beach, finally spotting a lone figure. He tilted his head, and walked towards it, hoping that it was Vivian.

She heard a engine being cut off. She knew the sound too well. His Harley. She hadn't really liked his bike but said nothing about it. Cars were so much safer. She stayed, watching the waves. How the scene was beautiful. She then heard the sound of footsteps across the sand. The sound so soft and small. A light smile covered her face. She was home now. A sigh of relief passed her mouth. How it felt so good to be back in America. England was her hometown but man how she had missed it here. It was home.
Turning slowly, she looked at the man in front of her. Wild hair. Bare feet like her own. He hadn't changed a bit. Maybe a little thinner but she normally did the cooking. She didn't move. Just studied him. Four months. It was a long time. "Long time no see" she said in a English accent. It was weird. Being in a place with American accents when you had your English one. It was like that in England when she first came. How she was happy to be back. She took a step forward and smiled at her love. She had missed him.

Ziggy, rather suddenly, wrapped his arms around her in a tight, yet gentle embrace. It had been so long. "I'm glad you're back..." he murmured softly into her ear. He was just so happy now that she was back, it was like giving Jerry Lee his favorite dog treat after a while of not having it. He gave a slight shaky sigh, obviously holding back tears. And he finally pulled away, only enough he could give her a gentle kiss on the lips. And then he pulled away, smiling at her. "So, umm, about the wedding...." he said, and then asked "When did you plan to have it? And where at?" He asked her sweetly, he wanted so badly to be married to his darling Vivian. To finally give her his last name after sealing their trust with a kiss at the end of the marriage ceremony how very romantic it would all be.

Vivian smiled as he hugged her. She was also fighting back her own tears. When he said about the wedding she looked straight into his eyes. A warm smile on her face. "I was thinking about that too" she told him. How she had wanted to finally be married. Knowing them two, something will end up stopping the wedding. Most likely when the priest is saying 'do you, Ziggy-'. Yes, that would put the icing on the cake. She thought about it. No. Nothing would stop their wedding. It just couldn't happen, it was her life. No one could wreck it now.
At his next questions she laughed. "If only you knew. Tomorrow would be fine with me! ANY day would be fine by me. But as soon as I find a chapel ok?" she said, still laughing. She looked behind her. The view was beautiful. It made her think. Why have a chapel wedding? A beach at sunset would be a awesome way to do it. Then a horse and carriage would take the couple back to her ranch for the party. Cake, food and champagne. A after-party at night would be nice. With the stars and the moon illuminating the place.
She would have lights there also. You needed to have some boundaries. Anyone who wanted to crash the night could. She knew how it was. After a good party your too tired to drive anywhere. There was the 3 spare cabins and a couple of rooms in the main house. A smile was on her face at the thought. Her wedding. People would talk about it for ages, they would be the newlyweds. The town hadn't seen such a big event in ages. It needed something to kick it back into action. The wedding would do just that.

Ziggy smiled, his eyes, for once, weren't quite so dark and soulless looking now, but were more of a coffee black rather than solid black, more of a very dark brown. He smiled "I could help you find a chapel, if you wanted?" He asked her softly. He wanted her to be happy, wherever she wanted to have the wedding, he would do it. There were pros and cons to every wedding place and type: Private weddings on the beach for example had pros: No press for one thing, and it would only be friends and family. However there were cons as well: Seagulls, nasty buggers. And then there was the feeling that you had left out some of your friends because you didn't want to go over the limit that either you or your new spouse set up. He sighed, there were so many other pros and cons to every wedding, there were just too many to list.
