Name: Shining Disaster
Personality: Shine is a very sweet mare. However, she doesn't trust easily. She is nice to almost everone once she gets to know them. She's had a rough past, so don't get on her bad side.
Why you would make a good light Royal: Shine is a natural born leader underneath her uncertainty. She is a good role-model for young foals. She doesn't put up with other horse's stuff either.
Post example with char:
Have you ever wanted to go back in time and change something that you thought or actually did? Have you ever felt so guilty that you wished you were dead? Ever wondered how things would be if you hadn't made that one wrong decision in your pathetic little life? That's exactly the way Shine feels about that fateful day her life was dramatically changed. Why did she have to shed that innocent blood? With nobody to hear his helpless cries, she took the young colt's life effortlessly and shamefully. Could rage really drive the sweetest specimen to do such a deed? Apparently yes...she did the unthinkable and murdered a young colt in cold-blood. Oh the shame! How she wished it wasn't so! Why did her stupid father have to push her over the edge?
Her mind raced back to that fateful day. Her mother had just warned her of her father's recent attack on the older mare. Shine, terrified and sick of her father's disgrace, slipped away unnoticed...or so she thought. Turns out, a young colt called Vocalic followed her out of the territory. Angry and confused, Shine waited until they were behind a mass of bushes before she attacked. Aiming for the young one's neck, she delivered a tragic blow that ended the poor foal's life quickly. At least he didn't suffer...just keep telling yourself that you heartless fool! Now...back to the present. There's no use dwelling on the unchangeable.
Glassy orbs studied the icy terrain before her. One sky blue void, the other a chocolaty brown. Beautiful really...but unusual in a sense. Her last herd thought she was some kind of goddess because of her unique eye colors. It also happens to be the reason her father abused her so. Her white body blended in perfectly with the snow. She looked quite out of place in this frozen wonderland. Snowy mane and tail were covered in icy snowflakes. A flick of the banner sent them flying in all directions. A lone snort sent up a cloud of what seemed to be smoke emerging from the fae's nostrils. It was dreadfully cold in this land...and it wasn't to Shine's liking.
Elegant femme pushed onward through the hazardous conditions and saw a pool of red by a tree nearby. What in the world could be bleeding out here? Curiosity drew her closer and she breathed in the scent of another. A stallion. Who else would be wandering these parts? She only came here out of self pity...she figured she has to die somehow...she might as well suffer for her terrible acts. Nobody as horrible as she deserved to live a happy life. Surely this stallion wasn't in his right mind...
A lone figure ahead pulled Shine out of her own head. A jet black stag stood a couple yards away. A startling red eye caught the fae's attention. How in the world? Although, she can't really judge...she, too, has an odd eye color. However crazy this brute may be, he has to have a reason for being in this ice cold hell. Not really being the social type, Shine decided to hang back a distance away in case he wasn't friendly. There's typical Shine for ya. Always protecting herself...never taking risks. She's never going to get anywhere in this life if she didn't start socializing! Come on you nasty beast! Approach and take a chance! Should she approach this dangerous looking stag?
Summoning up the courage, she took a few weary steps forward and called out "Hello, stranger!" Smooth move you idiot! He's surely going to kill you now! Only fate would tell...

Name: Batty Personality: He is a true thoroughbred at heart and can gallop like the wind. He loves to be free and listens to people and their explinations instead of shouting at them straight away. Why you would make a good light Royal: Batty would make a good light royal as he will listen and give everyone a chance (darks not so much) but he is firm. His size is a advantage as he will be more threat as he is smaller. Post example with char: Batty escaped the wrath of being tame as a young colt and from there he found a light herd and they took him in and talked to him about the lights, darks and neutrals but he stayed as a strong light and only liked lights and sometimes neutrals. He lived there until he was two years old and then the terrible happened, his herd were caught and he escaped with one look behind him and away.
Batty felt his eyes prick and a tear run down his face when he thought about them but he stamped his foot and started to gallop away with his tail like a chestnut ribbon streaming behind his body and he lifted his head high and whinnied loudly.

Name: Kohia Personality: She has a gentle nature, but you don't want to mess with her. At heart she is a light female, but when it come to dark...well, then she is a completely different character. She will do anything to defend herself, and she family or herd. She is no stupid mare, and she knows how other horses minds work, and if she is attempted to be tricked, she can see straight through it. She is usually a kind mare, with a goo heart, but if anyone even thinks of taming her, they have another thing coming. She is truly wild, and will never have her spirit crushed. Why you would make a good light Royal: She has a determined mind, and rarely gives up on anything, if ever , which will help if her herd is attacked by another stallion after the area, or wranglers. She has a long temper, except when it comes to dealing with dark stallions, trying to in her over, or wranglers, coming to brake her spirit. She would make an excellent leader, because she has just the right temperament, not too soft, but she isn't harsh. She is strong, and so can defend her land easily. There are few things she won't tolerate, but if someone tries to control her in any way, then that would be the final straw. She is wonderful with foals, and has the ability to teach them to be able leaders themselves, and gets them ready for the outside world. She can also get out of tight situations, like being captured, and put in a stable. She has undone her fair share of bolts in her time, whether it be her in the trap, or another horse, Post example with char: Kohia rested in the sun, as it beat down on her golden sheen, he blue pools in a dream like state. She was in a good mood. She wasn't quite sure why, but she supposed it was better than being really angry. The blood suckers attacked her back and chest, in the hope of a free lunch. She flicked them away with her creamy white tail. Then she heard it. A snap of a twig in the undergrowth. She caught a faint smell of smoke. She got to a feet, now suddenly awake. Then she saw the creature that had made the noise. To small, ugly eyes looked out at her, from the brim of a wide hat, and a long, rough cord in his hand. He was on top of one of the tame beast, that she was ashamed to call an equine. He icy blue pools narrowed as the thing on the horse, made it's move. It broke into a sudden gallop. lunging at her from out of the shadows. She turned on her delicate hooves, and ran, covereing the ground easily. She turned a tight corner, and leapt over a fallen tree. She had hoped this would stand in their way, but as she looked back, she saw the tame clear the log, easily. 'Right, if that's how you want to play it' she thought bitterly. She sent out a high pitched warning neigh, to any horse in the area, to let them know that there was danger, and that they should get out, as fast as they could. She ran on, leaving the horse in pursute behind with every step. Another log came up, this time a lot bigger. She readied her self, and took a leap, landing on top of the log, looking behind her before jumping down. She heard the horse slow to a halt, and the creature make some noises, that Kohia was sure, would not translate into pretty language. She listened as the horse retreated. She stood there for a while, checking that no more were coming, before walking on, to find somewhere to rest.

Name: Suhas Personality: Suhas has a strong moral compass, and he never lets it drift. He has a commanding presence, and his color makes him stand out from the crowd. He's wise and strong on the outside, and ideal leader, but he is constantly checking himself and his behavior, regretting things that are insignificant to others. He believes that darks are the worst scum on the Earth, and would do anything except give away the life of another to stop them.
Despite saying that he is a peaceful stallion, Suhas would like nothing more than a war between dark and light. A war that he would lead, he believes, to the victory of the lights and freedom for all of the dark slaves. However, as of late he has begun to notice the wranglers as well, depleting both sides of the horses, dragging them away to their doom.... Despite the fact that it may be the only solution, he would never join forces with the darks to beat them.
Why you would make a good light Royal: Unlike many lights, Suhas will take definite action against anyone who mars his alliance. He believes that lights are the only true horses, that all others have been corrupted at some time. He is a leader at heart, and loves all lights, especially those within his own herd. He is a strong commander with a keen mind, well respected by most horses and at the prime of his life. He has had a lot of time on this Earth already to think about creating a better world for lights and darks alike.
Though his current herd is rather militarian, it is time that the lights came under a leader who prepares for war. As history has moved along the darks have always been the ones who start a war and build an army. Perhaps it is time that this should change? Suhas will keep the light alliance strong, anticipating an attack while preparing himself to wage war on the alliance and banish it forever.
Post example with char: His sleep was dark and shrouded with dreams, primal stirrings that left as soon as they came. Beasts, dark beasts with no name, danced across his eyelids in flame. With a snort, the great stallion awoke, sweat coating his brow as he stood up heavily. Something then had felt like death to him, and even in the warm summer air he shivered with it. Darkness was gripped like a vice upon his soul, upon everyone's soul, he had felt, and nothing would change that. But the sheer terror of the dream wore off after a moment, as the bicolored stud stood at the edge of the cliff. Wind flirted with his tresses, flowing the hairs up and around his neck, where they danced in the breeze for a moment before settling back down.
He looked dourly over the crags and cliffs below him and the thin string of grass far below, bordered by a black slice of forest. With a toss of his bonneted cranium, the stallion made his way down the cliffs, into this wide swatch of down and forest, where the foothills met the ground below. Nares dilating, Suhas trotted over the land uneasily. Something felt... wrong, to him. Like a disturbance had shaken the earth and sky and his life in the process. With a snort, he continued into the dark shade of the forest.
His wall eye pierced the depths, the feathers laying like black feathers on the ground. A strange scent now mingled with the border here, a scent that made him shiver to his very bones. It was the scent of darks! What could they be doing here, on this land, in his home? He was surely overpowered now, and with a quick turn he galloped back into the patch of down, neighing out a warning to the other horses on the land. His army would assemble below him now...
(ugh, crappy, I know.)
