Dee walked slowly along the road connecting most of the ranches to each other. Her long bbrown hair was now out of it's ponytail. She ran her fingers through it as she walked along. But, as she walked long she was thinking about Grayer's directions... Then, as she came to the last part, she saw it. Shining acres. She looked at the lush green pastures, and she saw Grayer there too. She smiled and waved. "Hello!" as she walked into the ranch. She began to jog as she neared the new friend she met, she heard a dog barking and looked around, waiting to meet one of the dogs. "Remember me?" she laughed as she saw Grayer.

Grayer walked casually through her ranch house, looking out the big bay windows onto her property. She made her way to her large kitchen and quickly prepared a ham and cheese sandwich for herself. She had company coming soon, so she had to hurry and get some chores done. She went to the corner of the room, where 3 dog bowls sat, waiting to be filled. She put the correct amount of food in each and let out a low whistle. She heard the sound of nails on the floor and smiled.
Her 3 dogs sprinted to their bowls and began eating eagerly. Grayer laughed at her dog's antics and patted them each on the head lovingly. She needed to still feed her horses, so she headed out towards her main show barn. She could hear the hungry nickers of her three horses as she entered the hay filled stable area. "Hello, guys! I'm coming." She laughed happily and fed each one of her horses accordingly.
As she finished, she heard someone call out, "Hello!" She jogged towards the front of her property and saw her new friend Dee. "Hey, Dee! Welcome to Shining Acres!" She smiled hugely, already feeling comfortable with the new girl. She couldn't wait for her to meet all her animals.
Grayer's three dogs raced madly towards the newcomer, sniffing her and making sure she was safe. Grayer rolled her eyes and called them, "Cinch! Buckle! Fern!" The three dogs immediately ran to her side and sat down. She grinned towards Dee and said, "These are my dogs." She pointed first to the beautiful Border Collie and said, "This is my pride and joy, Cinch." She patted his black and white head and then motioned to Buckle. "This here is Buckle." The blue merle Australian Shepherd lolled his tongue boredly and barked. She motioned to the little puppy at her feet and smiled hugely, "This is Fern. She is the newest addition to our family." The small, red Border Collie yapped softly as she heard her name spoke.
Grayer chuckled and looked to Dee. "So...what do you want to see first? I've got 3 barns. A main show barn, a breeding barn, and a broodmare barn. I have an indoor riding arena and an outdoor riding arena...Oh! and two roundpens for working horses. And plus there are 4 pastures for turning horses out in." She smiled sheepishly while she listed all of her facilities. She didn't really like for people to know that she was rich...
Grayer whistled softly and heard a shrill whinny from her main barn. Apparently her 3 horses were done eating.

Dee laughed as all three dogs rushed out to greet her, just before she was smothered to death, Grayer called them to her side. "Well, they certainly are a lively bunch aren't they?" she laughed and patted each of them on the head with a smile. Then, she lsitened as she heard what facilities her new friend had. "Wow, you seem to have large ranch here." she said with a wink. Then she answered her question. "Although they all sound very interestig..." she started, pretending to think about her choice. "I think I want to see your horse stables first." then, she heard a shrill whinny. "And your horses too, if I may?" she brushes her hair behind her ears and smiled kindly.

Grayer laughed heartily as Dee spoke and responded lightly, "Yep...the are definitely hyper. But I love them." The girl's long brunette hair lay in spiral curls sprawled across her shoulders. She reached back quickly and put her hair into a french braid down her back. Her hair length was now almost touching her butt.
Grayer grinned and almost blushed when Dee spoke of her facilties. "Ya...I'm lucky to have all this." She shrugged and nodded eagerly, "Of course you can see my horses. Follow me." With that said, she headed towards the large barn closest to the house. It was a very updated metal barn with windows in each stall. The barn contained 14 stalls, with 3 stallion stalls at the very end. There was a very roomy tack room, and 2 wash racks. The feed room was medium sized, stocked with all the best, high quality show grains. The hay loft extends across the entire length of the barn, making haying a very easy task.
Grayer whistled softly and heard soft nickers in response. She motioned for Dee to come in and went to the first stall on the right. A very elegant and glossy chestnut Hanoverian mare stuck her head eagerly over the stall door. She nickered and nudged Grayer, hoping for treats. Grayer laughed and patted the mare on the nose. "This is Perfect By Design. Her barn name is Willow. She is a showjumper and dressage horse. She has won countless ribbons too and she's only 3." She smiled proudly and moved on to the next stall. A gorgeous white Hanoverian head perched lightly over the stall door. The mare whinnied excitedly and pawed the ground anxiously. "This is Art In Motion. She is a showjumper and cross country horse. She just turned 3." A shrill whinny sounded from the opposite end of the barn and Grayer jogged towards the unsettling noise. "You already know Mode, but he begs for attention." She laughed and fed the horse a quick carrot. "I plan on breeding Mode and Art. They should throw a pretty darn good baby..."
Thinking about all the possibilities for Shining Acres made Grayer's head spin. She shook it and rubbed her arm thoughfully. "So...what next?"

Dee smiled and walked behind her. As she neared the barn, she noticed that it seemed very well built, and very exthingyve too. She followed her into the large strusture and smiled at the musty scent of horses and hay. It was sweet and pleasent to her nose, but to many, it was an awful stench. As she walked along the middle aisle, she heard the sound of nickering. She smiled as they came to the first horse. Perfect by Design... she thought. Then, she moved on to the next horse. Another beautiful mare... Art in motion Well she sure looks it. Dee thoguht, then they came to Mode, the beautiful bay stallion. "Wow..." she whispered. "Your horses are beautiful!" then, as she said she was planning on breeding Mode and Art, she smiled. "They would make a lovely foal." she said. "Would you want a colt or a filly?" she asked. But was cut off by the next question. She thought back to the list of facilities, "Let's check out the other two stables." she said with a small grin.
