Personality: Phoenix loves challenges, and with his impulsive nature, he'll usually accept no matter what the odds. He's used to being part of a fairly small herd, so he instinctively dislikes those outside his own group. It's him being possessive, in a way.
History: His mother was a wild chestnut Arabian, and a true prize for any male. She lured a Thoroughbred stallion away from his ranch, but he was too trusting of humans, and some men came to reclaim him. The mare was fast enough to escape to her herd while the humans were distracted.
Months later, a colt was born of their brief union. He resembled his mother in form, but his size came from his father. His early life was easy enough, for the wild horses need speed over strength to escape wranglers, and speed he had in great quantity. He was male, though, and was driven away as soon as the leader found him a threat.
