Name: Roxanne Christy McRae
Nicknames?: Roxy
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Physical Description: People always tell her that she's pretty and thin. They always say she looks older and taller than she really is. Apparently 5'6 is tall to them. She doesn't know why they think she looks older. She thinks her curly dark brown hair makes her look younger. Sometimes she like to straighten it, but people always tell her they like it better curly. Her hair comes down several inches or so past her shoulders. But if it's straightened it comes down a lot more than that. People are always telling her they would love to have her hair. She'd love to give it to them. It takes forever to comb.
Her eyes are large but people seem to think that they're pretty. Hazel is the prominent color that really shows in them. They also have some green and grey mixed in with the hazel, though it's harder to see those colors. She doesn't have really thick lashes in her opinion. They look, well, normal. Not really thin and not really thick.
Her legs are a lot longer than most peoples. Thats probably why people tend to think she's taller than she really is. Having long muscular legs really help when riding a horse, especially a big one. She prefers to keep her nails cut short otherwise when she's at the barn they just get stuff under them. She has what people would call an interesting style, She doesn't like to wear anything to girly she prefers tom-boyish stuff. But her mom sometimes makes her dress up more than she normally would for pictures, like the picture of her shown above. Her mother also takes forever on her hair to get it to look that way.
Weight: 5'6
Height: 130 lbs
Personality: She's usually an optimist. Trying to see the good side of all things. If something goes wrong she tries find something good that came about because of it. She also tries to find the good in all people. Though she must say, sometimes it's rather challenging. She tries not to give up when things go wrong. Sometimes she ends up crying just because she can't think of a way to keep going.
Her main personality trait is she's spunky. She can be kind and caring. She enjoys helping people when she can. She doesn't gossip or any of that junk because it's just wrong. However if someone picks a fight with her, verbally or physically, She'll fight back. She doesn't just stand around and take the punches people throw. She enjoys talking with people if they're talking about a subject she enjoys.
She's an extreme extrovert and will keep talking if you'll keep listening. She love peoples company and love to hangout. If she can be out of the house She'll take the opportunity. She's willing to work if someone needs a hand. She's a tomboy and doesn't wear makeup or anything immodest. She doesn't care if she gets dirty or breaks a nail. She mostly keeps her nails short anyway. She's friendly and outgoing and if people are around she generally won't get tired.
History: She was born in Texas, in a small town she doesn't even remember the name of. A few months after she was a born her family moved back to Lexington. Her dad at the time raised quarter horses. Regularly she went to the track to watch some of her dads horses enter sprint races. Some of them were champs while others went bust. They ended up having to sell because of money problems. She had to leave my school and friends at the age of 16.
Before we had to move I was the top of my class in almost every subject. Except math, go figure. I had my own horse, just a colt for about 5 months. He died running into a car. The idiot driver had swerved off the road and through our fence where he was. Police told us later the driver was drunk. 4 months later is when we found out we had to move.
First they moved to Missouri. After living in KY let me tell you, don't move to the boot-hill of Missouri. It was flat and almost all the fresh water was distilled. Meaning lots of mosquitoes. After being eaten alive for 7 months her parents were able to find a spot in Nevada for us to live. They were hoping she could start riding again. They said they could afford to have one horse.
Once they got to Nevada they moved into a small house. Her parents told her they would try and find a stable for her to go to. 2 months after they got to Nevada she had her 17th birthday. No friends to celebrate, just her and her family. Finally they told her she could get a horse! This time she would get an adult, not a foal.
A couple months before she turned 20, her mother died. She left the small town weeks before that, while her mother was still ill. Roxy was heartbroken, and she felt even more betrayed when her father didn't even talk to her about it, and her sister didn't even bother to show up for the funeral. She buried herself back into work, coming back to her ranch. The rest of her history has yet to come.
