This poem is about Floyd, a horse I roleplay but he has yet to find the mare.
A horse was galloping through, His mane full of morning dew, A beautiful mare was ahead, And with that the stallion fled.
He now was facing a meet, With a human in boiling heat, A lasso was in her harmful hand, And he saw the mare on the sand.
She watched him with a eye, And then he let out a painful cry, The rope was around his neck, And the human started to trek.
His love was gone forever, And that filled him with anger, He would never see her again, As he was now with the men.
As he started to escape, He got into a nasty scrape, When he finally recovered, The stallion then nickered.
She came in out of the blue, And then they both flew, Across the sands together, And they raised youngster.
