Basilisk ;;
Auditions for my Neutral King are UP!
Get those head's held high, strut your stuff. A human pet? Perhaps you have a chance. The Prize is great, the Neutral King, alongside the Neutral Queen, you rule the Autumn Mountain and the Neutral's. The greatest gift of power, held out on a silver plate. Beware, there are some tricks to think about. You dare lie and you shall be struck out immediately. Good luck, and give it your all.
The Rules are Simple.
Number 1. You MUST be a Neutral Stallion. Number 2. Your Audition must be at least 800 words Number 3. You lie, you Die. Number 4. Don't waste my time if you know you can't handle it. Number 6. Tell me why a number is gone. Number 7. Listen as if your Life is on the line. Not saying it isn't... Number 8. And one little thing that will give a nudge to your ego, you cannot replace me with your stallion will. I can be challenged, but not replaced by a selection of your hoof.
Give It Your Best Shot

Stallion Name: Bon Jovi Stallion Age: 3 Stallion Gender: Stallion Stallion Alliance: Neutral Average Posting Length: depends on muse. Reason Wanted: I would love to rule and have a great herd for other horses to live. Missing Number: 5 Your Shot:
Bon Jovi walked through the dense forest and tossed his silver mane, he was on the long journey to Autumn Mountain and he was happy to go their. He swerved through the tall trees and sprung over a log which was in his path. He started to canter through the forest and swerving through trees even faster until he reached the clearing.
The clearing was open and very bright with a pond in the middle which he drunk from and his mane dipped into the water and it rippled before putting in his own muzzle. He lifted his head again as he heard footsteps of a two-legged walking toward him. A twig snapped under their feet and Bon Jovi looked straight into the humans eyes before rearing high and landing with a crash in the pond and rushing through but he felt the rope around his neck "get off of me" he screamed but knew the human wouldn't know what he said so he just stepped back, letting the rope become looser before dropping his head and galloping forward. The rope came off in a breeze and he was back to gallop out of the forest as quickly as possible.
He saw the forest start to branch off into the plains and he slowed down into a walk. He looked around him before biting at the grass below his legs and then he started to walk forward again and toward the mountain path but he knew before he could get to the mountains he must cross the river which had a very strong current. Bon Jovi felt the breeze on his face and he moved forward and toward the land he hoped to rule with a beautiful mare "I want to lay you down in a bed of roses, for tonight I sleep on a bed of nails, I want to be just as close as the Holy Ghost is, and lay you down on a bed of roses" he sang softly. He saw a blue speck in the distance and then knew the river was approaching so he broke into a gallop and rushed through the grass and toward the sandy banks of the river.
He skidded to a halt as his hooves touched the sand and he saw the current running strongly "wish me luck" he sighed and then saw some rocks in the river. Quickly the stallion stepped on the first rock which was close to the bank and he jumped slightly so his front hooves were touching the second rock and his back hooves touched the first. He felt the water rush over his hooves and he shuddered as he knew one slip and he would be doomed. He was now in the middle of the river and with one gulp he sprang through the air and he front hooves hit the bank but his back legs fell into the water...
The current was strong and he tried to pull himself up however he managed to pull up his body and climb onto the bank. He shook his coat and walked toward the mountains happily as he had crossed the river and he remembered his smaller brother shoving them rocks in with his friends when he was younger "I owe you one bro" he laughed and then cantered toward the mountains where he would face more dangers as predators lived in the mountains but he had to cross them to reach the autumn paradise.
He felt the grass harden and he looked down to see rock under his feet and then he jumped up to a rocky path on the mountains. He clambered up and walked across before seeing some fallen rocks in his path. Bon Jovi sighed and then reared high and crashing into the rocks which knocked off some of the smaller ones at the bottom. The blockage became clearer as he reared more to crash into the stone and then he happily jumped over the last of it to continue on his quest. He walked on through the mountain path and then realized he was going upward so he started to trot. He felt the air get thinner as he moved up and he started to struggle to get air "the sooner..I get out..of the mountain path..the better" he said. He then realized he was at the peak of the mountain so he looked down and saw it, Autumn Mountain.
He didn't care about finding a path at this moment, he just galloped down some parts of the rock, jumped onto some others until he felt the air in his lungs again. Birds sang softly into the air and he galloped on until he felt soft grass under his hooves. He saw the trees in their reddish colors and he walked through the trees again until he came to the stream. Bon Jovi dipped his muzzle in and drank the cold water happily before slowly walking through to find the beautiful queen of these beautiful lands.

Stallion Name: Magnum Stallion Age: 5 Stallion Gender: Stallion Stallion Alliance: Neutral Average Posting Length: 200-300 words Reason Wanted: I'd love to have a stallion to lead any land, but being the king of an alliance would be even more amazing! I also have Magnum open, and have never used him, so I'd like to use this chance to role play with him. Missing Number: 5 Your Shot:
Magnum's long legs carried him quickly across the land. His audits were perked, and his orbs danced across the land he ventured through. His banner flowed out behind him, as he three-beated to an unknown destination. He didn't really have a direction, he just knew he needed to get some where. He wasn't sure where, but he knew, once he got to the right place, he'd know to stop.
Magnum's legs burned with fury, from his weeks of traveling. His coat was matted with mud and dirt from his travels. His stomach ached and his mouth sizzled from lack of food and water. His nares were crusted from blood, from traveling for so long.
He could smell water, and knew the grass around this area was lush, due to it's deep green color. He slowed to a trot, as he neared the source of the water. So far he had sensed no borders, so he knew he wasn't on a stallion's land. Magnum kept trotting, right into the pool of water. He sighed as the cool liquid rushed over his body, washing his coat and replenishing him. He dipped his whole muzzle under the water, taking generous gulps of water, and washing the dried blood from his muzzle.
When Magnum's throat was finally soothed, he ventured back up to the shore. He walked slowly, taking his time to get over to the grass. When he reached the vegetation, his bent his neck and began to graze. His stomach rumbled quietly, finally being relieved of it's unbearable hunger.
As Magnum's hunger lessened, exhaustion began to set in. He found himself yawning in between bites, and his eyes started to feel heavy. His hunger became less and less apparent to him, and his need for sleep became overwhelming. He glanced around, spotting a large oak, and trotted over to it. He bent his knees and hocks, laying down with his legs beneath him. His head hung slightly, as his eyes slowly closed.
Soon enough, Magnum was in a deep sleep. His mind settled on his favorite dream as he slept. His dream was that of him ruling a herd. A neutral herd surely. He wasn't one to take sides between darks and lights. He would rule along side his wonderful mare, whom he'd be madly in love with. He'd have a few fillies and a few colts, to take his place one day when he was gone. He'd have his close friends, his warriors, and of course, herd members. They would live peacefully, living every day to it's fullest and enjoying everything that came their way.
He would defend his herd, leading his warriors on to defeat any outsiders that tried to disrupt the peace in his land. He would defeat anyone who tried to take his herd away from him. Being the lead stallion would make him strong, giving him the courage to fight anyone and everyone.
As Magnum slept, a smile spread across his sleeping face. His mind was deep within his dream, and it felt so real, he never wanted to wake up. If he woke up, he'd realize he was just a lone stallion, with no family, no mate, and certainly no herd to speak of. It was much better to dream, and to plan ways to get to this dream, then face reality. His reality was far to lonely to focus on. He had to focus on the future, his future, his dream.
A branch snapped in the forest that was located about fifty feet away. Magnum's naturally protective personality forced him to wake. He would need this is he ever wanted to be a stallion, he would have to be aware enough to keep his herd safe from dangers.
His orbs scanned the tree line of the bush, searching for the source of the sound. His audits were perked, and could hear the soft sound of hoofbeats just on the other side of the tree line. His nares were filled with the scent of another equine. His eyes caught the sight of the tree branches dancing as someone made their way through them.
Magnum kept his eyes on the twitching trees, and followed the path they foreigner was taking. He said nothing, planning to let the other being take the path it had been taking. That was when it turned towards him, coming to the outside of the forest. He knew that he had to confront the outsider, to make sure it was no threat. If he or she turned out to be one, then he'd have to prepare to fight it.
Who goes there? Answer me now, or I will fight. He called out to the forest. The trees stopped moving, the scent of the horse staying an equal intensity. Magnum kept his orbs and audits trained on the spot where the other horse stood. Show yourself! Magnum called out again, taking a step towards the location of the horse. Then the bushes moved again, but in the opposite direction. They were running away from him, for whatever reason. Magnum kept his gaze fixed on the path they were taking, and caught a tiny glimpse of a small charcoal colored colt. The colt stopped galloping and turned to him, nodding it's head, before fleeing again.
Magnum stood, dumbfounded by the colt. Why did he come find me? What was with that nod? Why did he run away? Magnum thought everything over, and then realized something. He didn't feel like he should keep wandering anymore. He actually really wanted to stay in this area. His eyes went back to where he last saw the colt. He was a sign.

Come now, the deadline is approaching. In three suns risings, this will be over. I shall choose the one to lead with me. Only two dare rise to the occasion? Come, you can't be as modest as that. If you don't try you shall never succeed. Will you be the next to try for my heart? For the Neutral King? Ah, we shall see, shall we not?

Stallion Name: Blazer Stallion Age: 6 Stallion Gender: Stallion all the way Stallion Alliance: Neutral Average Posting Length: 150-250 words, sometimes 300, when muse is high Reason Wanted: I would love to be able to rule over the neutral alliance. I want to keep the alliance safe, away from the twisted ways of the creatures that call themselves human. Missing Number: 5, and it isn't there, because I ate it Your Shot:
Blazer walked steadily through the dense forest. His intentions were set. The autumn mist surrounded his ebony hocks, chilling his muscles, but to the stallion, it was a mere annoyance. He could smell a dark vibe, from deep within the trees.
He came through the trees, into a small clearing. There, lay a foal of the purest white. It's fur was still fluffy, but there was an air about it that wasn't right. Blazer put his head to the ground, and sniffed the earth, between the mass of red and brown leaves. The stale stench of blood filled his nostrils. He jerked his head up, and looked over at the foal once again. Something was there, which he hadn't seen before. Behind the tiny horses ear, was a spot of red.
Blazer took a step toward the foal, expecting a dark scent, but instead, he caught a neutral vibe. The dark smell was leading off the the right, and into the forest. The white creature lay still, but Blazer could still smell signs of life. He lowered his ebony head, and gently nudged the foals side, The small white bundle of fluff stirred, twitching it's hind left leg. He nudged it again, and this time the foal stretched out it's tiny fore legs, and opened it's eyes. The orbs were a blue-grey sea of wonder and pain. It looked up at the black stallion, with fear etched on it's young face. Blazer pushed again, urging the tiny horse to get up. He could sense the dark aura coming back again. It was crucial to get the foal to it's feet, and into neutral lands.
After a few, long minutes, the foal staggered to it's delicate feet, but with it's left hind leg barely touching the ground. Blazer could see a large gash on it's hock. It wasn't deep, but to a foal of this age, the stallion knew that it would really hurt. The spot of red behind it's ear, had come from a small cut on the tiny whit audit. By now the foal had too smelled the dark vibe coming closer. Blazer pushed the foal along, standing behind it. He knew, that if he got the foal to the royal lands, which was where he was heading before the encounter with the foal, that everything would be alright. Blazer knew that the otherwise short journey, would take at least a few hours with the foal.
The foal started to walk on, stumbling and tripping over it's own feet. Blazer constantly looked behind him, to check that the dark hadn't burst through the trees. The pair disappeared, back into the forest, out of site. It was about fifteen minutes later, when the dark mare came burst through into the clearing. On her back, sat a rider, a rope slung over his belt, and a whip, riddled with blood in his hand.
Blazer carried on through the wood, with foal in front of him. The two had been going on for about forty five minutes, and were still quite a way from the neutral lands. Blazer could no longer smell the dark vibe, and so was going at a less frantic pace. The foal was going well, and had only fallen a few times. It had obviously scented the dark horse too, and knew that it must move quickly. Blazer knew that if a foal was in danger, it must learn to walk quickly. The two walked at a steady pace, not to fast, so that the foal would no be able to keep up, and not to slow. The sun was getting higher in the sky, and the morning mist had lifted. A twig snapped. Blazers audits swiveled, around. Behind them was the mare. Evil etched in her eyes. She was breathing heavily, and the man astride her back was sweating. The mare had obviously tried to throw the man off. Blazer saw the mans hand go to the rope on his belt. His only option was to flee, but with the foal, it was impossible. He would have to fight. He reared up, hooves pawing at the air. He let out a low warning neigh. The man took his rope in one hand. The mares orbs were full of pain, and the spirit had gone out like a flame, but the evil was still there, and the dark vibe was still strong. This mare had been tamed, and she was now doing the job of capturing wild horses. She was smaller than Blazer, at about 14.3. Blazer came to the ground, and dust arose about his feet. He pinned his ears back, and snorted. The man threw the rope. it landed around the stallions neck, and tightened, chocking the air out of him. He lashed out, kicking at the horse and rider. He wasn't going to be taken that easily. The black stallion rose again, and sprang forward at the two. The mare turned to avoid his lunge, but at the same time, the man slipped off her back, and landed on the floor with a thump. The rope slid out of his hand, and it loosened around Blazer's neck. He shook off the rope, and it fell to the floor. He pinned his ears back at the mare, and lunged forward, ears back. The mare sprang out of the way, and cantered off into the wood. The man lay unconscious on the floor.
Blazer turned back to the foal, who was trembling in the cover of the trees. He stopped onward, and the foal followed warily. He was once again heading for the neutral lands. The queen awaited, as did the lands, and the foal would live a life of royalty, safe from the wrath of the humans.

Time is running short, must you make me wait? Ooh look, what a fuzzy lil' foal, and another foal...
The time has nearly come, when the winds blow in two hours... Anything offered after that will be harshly eliminated, and your new King will be chosen by tomorrow when the sun hits the horizon, at the latest. Try to hold your hooves, your squirming is annoying. Good luck, Knights.

Blazer... are you not the Stallion of Royal Lake? I see there is a challenge on the horizon for the land, but you have not yet lost your land. Is there something you would like to say? Are you giving up Royal Lake to the challenger to become lead here?

OOC: DUDE!!! I never thought I would actually win. I thought it was a bit confusing, but obviously not. Oh, and sorry for the colour, but it didn't burn my eyes on the skin I use! Your lucky I didn't choose yellow!!
IC:I admit, I am the stallion of Royal lake, but the land has not had much success. The land is hidden away, and so horses do not stumble on it so easily. As for the other stallion, he may not get the land. We do not get along, and I have another stallion interested in the Land, who may inherit it. I have not yet decided though, as I must pick who I think would be a good herd leader, and who would most likely build uo a strong healthy herd.
