just to tell you MISS CONUNDRUM is mentally unstable; and can go into fits of anxiety, and then can much quicker be angry, and annoyed. If you can tame her back down, she'll be inquisitive, and quite intelligent. She has regained her vigor, and has developed a heavy distaste for humans.
tell me a story CONUNDRUM WAS born in a particularly religious herd. They believed that their god, Epidemitic; created a race of pure horse named 'The Horses of the Sea', the god believed that, they had too many 'impure' horses, and they should be killed off my a superior race. But instead of killing them out; they crossed with each other, each generation becoming more common. Only one herd obeyed Epidemitic, and killed as many impure horses as the could. When these horses killed all they could; Epidemitic made them a secret valley; where no outsider would know how to get in. Epidemitic chose a bride from this herd named Ioh, both Epidemitic, and Ioh were a dazzling ablaster, with full, silken manes of ivory. Ioh, and the god had two children; Murien; the god of the skies, and seas, a dazzling white like his parents, and then evil Derrian; the god of chaos, and the underworld, he was a plain black horse. When Derrian was born; Ioh cried, as she knew he would die because of his weak constitution, and his impure color. She sent him away to her sister; one of the pure horses that decided to make an alliance with the impure horses. As he grew, Derrian was rebellious, and did not obey anyone. He stole away, and took an innocent impure mare with him. They had foals, and they all were evil sprites. When Epidemitic found out, he ordered his other son, Murien to kill the mare, and the foals. But there were too many foals, so he let them go. On the other hand, Epidemitic condemned Derrian to the underworld, and that was the end of their story. Now, Murien had a daughter; Sheilabar, and she had children, and those children had children and so on, and so on. The point is, that it all ended up to Conundrum's lines; never crossed with any impures. Well, thats the end of the 'maybe' story.
Now, Conundrum's parents were of high rank in the 'pure' herd, so she was highly prized. Her father was the general, and her mother was the beta. Conundrum was highly inquisitive of the world outside of their valley, and what was there. No one in her herd would let her venture, so she stole out at night. She was marveled at all of the other horses, and how strange they looked. One day, while she was traveling; a bunch of strange alien-like bald things captured her, and put her on some kind of floating device. It was horrible for her, she soon became very unstable and hated these bald things. She was put under harness to plow the fields of the Amish; they worked her hard. Her spirit was broken, and she was tame; but one day, when a handler was cleaning tack, and the gate left open; Conundrum ran wild, happy that she was free. Now, she has run far from her bondage, and is quite content.
