He is a master at attracting mares, and of course, protecting them. Unlike many males of his kind, he will not 'hog' mares, and will be polite to anyone, and everything. Though if you catch him irritated; he'll tell you to back off; and if you catch him is a rather, strange mood; he'll chase after you.
