The land had been claimed for a while now, but everything had been unactive. The previous herd members were either gone or driven away, just so the previous, and weak, owner couldn't build up a herd somewhere else. It was cruel, but that's just how the d**ned female rolled. The red sand swirled up in eddies are the mare's black pillars, the crystal in the sands catching the light. If you were standing a ways away you would be fooled by the optical illusion of the light glinting of the crystals, making the sands light up in orange, yellow gold and red, the colors of fire. Her amber orbs scanned across the horizon, their looks completely opposite of her name, for they looked like ice.
Feenyx opened his maw and her screaming lyrics shot into the air, echoing all throughout her land, though it wasn't complete until there was one to share it with, a Lead Stallion. Her nares flared as black pillars started forward, leading her deeper into her lands, continually her cold orbs ranged across the horizon-line, over the forbidding mountains, and up to the ever-cloudy skies. "Come, only if you can survive." she murmured, arching her neck.

The phantom walked across the lands. It's mind used to be a horse, but endless torture, had made the mind twiseted, and now, what walked across the sand in a stallions form was pure evil. The golden orbs were set on nothing but what lay ahead. He knew where he was going, though he did not know what would lie there. Any stallion that dared face this beast was a fool in them selves. You did not mess with Volltreffer.
Volltreffer stopped, his black hooves partly hidden by a cloud of sand. The sound came, like music. The sound of a mare, but not just any mare. It was a mare with land, and in need of a stallion. He sniffed the air, and the smell of the darks came to him. So this was why he was here. He sent back, a loud, strong neigh, that could have been heard for miles. His audits were pricked, as he walked onwards, seeking the mare.
At last, he saw her. She was a little way off, about ahundred and fiftey yards or so. He stopped "I am Volltreffer, the great." He said the last part a little quieter, and with more pride. It was the name he had been forever dubbed with, by those who feared him, and respected him. He arched his neck, awaiting a rply from the mare.

Amber orbs locked onto the shape that had come into her lands, and the scent soon followed. A slight smile came upon her maw as she stayed where she was, noticing it was a stallion by the scent. Her orbs flickered with dim amusement, as the stallion started to come forward, and then announce his name. His looks were interesting, paint and almost marbled. A silvery gray and white, pleasing to the eyes, yet the hidden strength was there, and it showed through in his voice amazingly. There was no doubt there was pride and power in this stallion. "I am Volltreffer, the great." Volltreffer, well, it had a nice ring to it.
"I am Feenyx, the lead mare of Cardinal Diversity. I'd assume you have come for a reason, stag?" she asked, her neck arched and banner flung high. Even with this, she was still a couple points shorter than he was, but it didn't matter. It wasn't like he was a shire or anything. She couldn't get over the pride in his voice. It seemed like it had always been there, the strength always embedded, whether he wanted it to be there or not. She saw the suddle movement of his own neck arching, and a snide smile crept onto her maw. Depends what he's here for.

The stallion stayed where he was, neck still acrched slightly. Feenyx. The name had a nice sound. The mare reminded him of flames, though the mares eye were icey. This wasn't a supprise to him though, as he knew most mares were wary around strange stallions. "I am here, as I was drawn here." he said, still with the hint of strength in his voice. "I believe these lands are as of yet, stallionless" the words he spoke where smooth, and rolled off the tounge, with no effort.
He lifted his head. For a stallion, he was big. At 16.3, he was probably one of the only big true wild horses left. He disliked the heavily feathered horses, that called themselves wild, but in his mind, once tame, always tame. The ways of the humans got to you, went to your head. that was why he would never let a human near him. He turned his turned his attention back to the mare. Now was when he would work his magic.

His words were intruiging, "I am here, as I was drawn here." he said, still with the hint of strength in his voice. "I believe these lands are as of yet, stallionless" he had said, and to the first part, Feenyx did not have much of an answer, but her position didn't change. "Oh? And what has drawn you here?" her smooth lyrics rang out, the wind starting to swirl the sand again. It rose high into the air to the equine's right, the red sand reflecting the light to show gold. The tornado of sand roared as the wind continued to pick up speed, tossing the bright green trees around as if they were toys, but the wind didn't bother Feenyx in the least. She just raised her head slightly, letting the wind carress her back and neck, tassels swirling around her cranium.
"Yes, as of yet, the land is stallionless." she said, a sort of snide smile on her maw. In a few seconds his disposition seemed to change completely, and at this, she turned her cranium slightly, and gave him an odd look. "And?" she asked, out of the corner of her eye seeing a red-sand-stained rabbit stop for a moment and then bolt away. Her ebon banner flicked as she turned to look at him fully again.
-Wow... muse died. XD -

Volltreffer was beginning to become impatient, though he didn't let it show. He was here for a purpose. He took a deep breath in, making his chest puff out, and pushing his neck and head up, so that he looked even taller than his actual 16.3. He knew he was large, and he was proud of it. It made fighting a lot easier, not that it was hard. He had never lost a battle yet. "The lands called to me. I came" he said. And in a way it was true. His stallions instinct had drawn him here, and no matter how much his mind had been scared, he was still a stallion.
He started to take slow steps towards the mare, the orange dust rising around his feet. He stopped a few metres away from her, keeping his distance. he knew mare could be twitchy about being approached by strange stallions too quickly, and it usually put them off. he had done this many times, and he knew what he was doing. "A herd cannot survive without a stallion" he said, still with the smooth, coolness, but the strength still there.
-Wow... mine too xD-[/size]

Feenyx was used to being around stallions, probably even more than mares. The herd she had come from before was very odd, and none of them had any type of alliance, and it annoyed her beyond lengths that some acted as if they were light. The herd was more of a moving band of wanderers, and she had been born into it by one of the stronger mares, who died shortly after Feenyx could live by herself. The mares in the herd were few and far between, yet Feenyx managed easily to stay alive, and in her first year she had tasted the blood of equine easily, and it seemed to taint her heart even more. Now, here she was, dark, lovely, and fearsome. The ultimate?
When she realized he wasn't going to answer the question, she let it go, deciding not to pester the stallion. When he moved forward, so did she, though her steps were quick and precise, and it closed the distance between them even more, and even though it was clear she had 'warmed' up to the stag, her eyes were still chips of ice. "Yes, no herd can survive. As of yet there is no herd to speak of, am I wrong to assume you've come to begin one from ashes?" she asked, meanings hidden deeply in her words, some closer up to the surface, but all hidden, and her glorious face showed no hints.
- Not bad. xD -

Volltreffer listened intently to the mares words. The mare was closer to him now. His magic was beginning to work, though it was not all his. It made it much easier for him, that the mare was cooperating...well, at least for now she was. Volltreffer Arched his neck slightly again "Aye, maybe" he said, giving nothing away. It was the way he worked, Now it was up to the mare to make the decision. He would let her assume, and whatever she assumed, he would go along with. The way he did it, he hoped would steer her to the conclusion that he was here to stay, but he could be surprised.
He knew whatever happened now, he would get what he wanted in the end. He didn't love. He could never love. Not now. Not after what had been done to him. He desired. And right now, he desired these lands, and this mare. He would rule, someday, somewhere, weather it be here, or a million miles away, but he would, he was sure of that.

Feenyx kept the same expression as the stallion arched his neck slightly, "Aye, maybe" he said, and to this he gave nothing away, just the brusque answer. She thought for a moment, trying to read something on the stag's face, but nothing was there, except perhaps a desiring glint in his orbs, but that could've just been the sun. The eyes tend to lie, and other times, they are down-right wonderful to read. "So I see," she murmured, her lyrics smooth and well-thought out. She herself was trying to give nothing away but false impressions, but whether they worked or not didn't matter in the least.
"Are you not going to give me any more to ponder?" she asked, giving off a slight smile, "nothing more?" Feenyx's words were simple. They showed she wasn't going to play any little games, or perhaps if it was the right game, she would. Black banner flicked to the side as she felt the slight tilt of the air pressure. Well, autumn had gone, and winter had come, and in a quick second she glanced at the nearest tree. It's leaves were still emerald green. Odd.

Volltreffer could see that the mare was going to play no games. She wanted him to get to the point. However, he could tell that the mare ws giving off false vibes, though what the true ones were, he did not know. Some horses, he knew, could see right through others, but he was not one of them. But did that bother him? Nope. He had far much more going for him than many other horses did. He was big, he was strong, he was handsome...in a dark, menacing sort of way, but most scary of all, he was intelligant, which, in a horse as tortured as him, was to be cowered at. And Volltreffer knew this. He tilted his head to one side "I can assure you, these lands would be safe with me in them" his voice said it all. His intentions were clear, even though they had not been said out loud.
Volltreffer could smell, mares in season, for many miles around. In his head, he was being driven crazy, but on the outside, he was cool, and collected. He didn't let his thoughts get out of his head. He waited for the mare to respond, standing square, the sun making his silvery sheen, gleem.
