Name:
Elda Isabella Hibiya
Nicknames?:
Chii
Age:
16
Gender:
Female
Physical Description:
Elda--or Chii, as most people call her--is not your average 16-year-old beauty. She's on the short side, only an inch over five feet. She has an attractive, slim figure with slightly long legs and a small waist. She naturally looks fragile like a porcelain doll, and most people say that it looks as though the slightest touch could 'brake her.' Her face is child-like and her eyes are big and amber-colored. They're always shining and bright. Her skin is slightly pale and practically flawless, except for a faded scar across her forehead that is hidden by her bangs.
Her hair is rather unusual for a girl her age. The color of it is so pale blond that it practically looks white and nearly matches her skin. Her bangs are cut just above her eyebrows and are hardly ever out of place. The sections of hair bordering her face fall down to her waist and are held by little pink and white spools, giving her a childish appearance. The rest of her hair--which has literally never been cut--falls to her ankles, curling ever-so-slightly at the ends, and naturally parts in the middle, almost giving her a look like she has wings.
The last thing people need to know about Chii as far as appearance goes is that her wardrobe is rather unusual. Instead of dressing in tight jeans and short shorts and tank tops as most people do, she prefers a fancy, older sort of style--dresses. Styles vary with her--she was simpler sorts and things so expensive that you might think she's on her way to the prom or to meet the president. As for color, she usually dresses in spring colors like white, pink, sky blue and light purple. Dressing formally is a thing that is normal for her, as out of style as it is.
Weight:
100lbs
Height:
5'1"
Personality:
Chii is a unique sort of person, a type that's harder to find these days. She's gentle and kind and sweet, sort of like a daughter that most mothers always dream of. She can tend to be shy when she first meets people, but it doesn't take her too long to open up once she feel comfortable with someone. She has a naturally generous nature, and would do anything to make someone else's day. With a naturally child nature she if often distracted by simple things, and most people find that to be strange.
With those childish ways she has comes a great deal of curiosity. She's pretty oblivious, though she is always trying to learn new things. But in the process of trying to suck in information, she also takes in lies. She's extremely gullible and doesn't understand yet that there are 'good' and 'bad' people in the world. Therefore, she almost thinks that everyone is her friend, even people that are unkind to her. She can't find it in her heart to really dislike anyone.
But her mask of never-ending kindness and complete golden-heartiness is a somewhat depressed soul. She can't remember any of her childhood or even what her dad was like before he passed away. She spends her spare time pondering over what it must have been like and trying to understand why her sister and mother are always mourning. Not understanding upsets her and she hates being alone. But besides that, she is a amazingly cheerful, easy to get along with sort of person.
History:
Elda Isabella Hibiya was born on May 9, 1992 only minuets after her identical twin sister, Freya, to Ichiro and Chitose Hibiya. She and her sister grew up in a wealthy home, though no one really thought of them as spoiled. The fancy thing and number of toys they were given were no more than rewards for good behavior, and they grew to be very polite and lady-like as a result of it. Elda and Freya were hardly ever apart. The neighbors, who all knew the girls well, never said just 'Elda' or just 'Freya' when referring to them. It was always 'the Hibiya Sisters.' They were like a two-in-one package. They did everything together and even dressed in matching outfits most of the time. The only way people could tell them apart from a distance was because Freya always wore black and Elda always wore white or pink.
Years seemed to fly by and before too long, Freya and little Elda turned fifteen. They had a huge birthday party, but Freya, who felt as though she were too grown up for that sort of thing, wandered off and found herself head-over-heels with a 18-year-old who was painting down the street. Elda, who couldn't stand being away from her sister, was upset for the rest of party, sat in her room, staring out the window, until everyone went home. From that day on, Freya was always hanging out with that boy and Elda was always left alone. Her mother stayed with her to attempt to make her happy, but it wasn't the same for her. And whenever Freya was home, she just didn't seem to pay much attention to her little sister.
Then there came that fateful day when Ichiro and Chitose decided to bring the girls on a family activity to the movies. Elda was more than eager, while Freya refused saying that she already had plans. Instead, Ichiro and Chitose just took their depressed Elda instead. However, Freya found her 'boyfriend' making out with a girl his age when she got to his house. Depressed and hurt, she ran home, only to find her family's car totaled on the side of the road--her sister's blood-covered body was being yanked out of the car while her father's lifeless corpse was being put into an ambulance. Chitose was perfectly fine.
Freya and her mother sat over Elda, who was out cold in a coma for a week, praying that she was okay. When the girl finally opened her eyes, she didn't remember anything. She didn't know who Chitose and Freya were, who she was... And all she could seem to say was 'Chii.' The damage to her head had given her a severe and permanent case of amnesia, but her mother and sister still loved her and didn't treat her any differently. They taught her how to walk and eat all over again, but they couldn't get her to talk. After at least a month of struggling, Freya started to call her sister 'Chi' and tried to re-teach her to talk, and she finally started to understand. However, she could only figure out how to talk in third person, referring to herself as 'Chii.'
It's been a year since Chii's tragedy, and now she and her loving mother and sister have moved here to see what raising her in a new envoirnment is like--after all, their old home holds too many terrible memories.
